Selling my HUGE collection of boxed Space
Lord Of Pies replied to DJ Force's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Ach, I want to buy some sets of yours but I am low on money at the moment, buy March though I will be okay, so it might all fall into place nicely! >:-) :-$ -
Clicky! Hmm, if it took you one day to build a single wheel, than yours is likely to overshadow my lil' base! I am unable to attend any events soon, so perhaps teaming up is a bit of a pipe dream! :-D

Thanks for the comments chaps! I look forward to seeing your Moon base, Lasse D, perhaps we could team up? >:-) :-D ...It seems you have found out where I got my colour scheme inspiration, I always liked that Dacta set's colour scheme. *wub*

Okay fine! 8-| "In the future, the evil forces of Blacktron face off against the peaceful, yet brightly coloured faction of Futuron, only one side can win. Well two if you count Space police, anyway, victory after victory for the Blacktrons forced the Futuron forces to relocate to small moons unknown to the Blacktron war machine and virtually go into hiding. Spread thinly over the galaxy, hidden yet advanced communication systems were vital in order to re-group as was the ability to repair damaged crafts and vessels as opposed to scrapping them. After a few years of hiding and re-arming, the Blacktrons located several Futuron hide-outs....only one side can win; but who will it be?" 8-

Very nice, and a happy ending; Hinckley getting beaten to a pulp and everyone having fun! *y* Great job Hinckley with the story, photography and editing! :-$

Nice MOC, I like the idea, and the boat being tied up, although one thing I do not like is the blue slope pieces as waves. Aside from that minor nit-pick, good job.

Hello one and all! I am on a bit of a roll at the moment when it comes to space MOCS, and I have finally gone to the effort of photographing my Futuron Moonbase, with space ships and crane. Well, without further ado, here it is: As you can see, it almost fits in with the moonbase standard module, not quite though it is slightly wider: The base serves primarily as a service station and as a communications array, as you can see in this photo: Two power generates keep the base going: The robot drones are often seen working away: ..Although their lack of legs limits their ability! X-D A large industrial crane is used to lift heavy objects such as engines or space ships A futuristic criss cross design! :-D The crane requires a huge counter weight to lift things like the CHUB-E fighter: The Pie flag flies proudly over the lunar surface: It looks like one of Dr. Sinister's Grunt is in the building! Here is the CHUB-E fighter mentioned earlier, I made to go with the base in true Futuron colours: It even has leather upholstery: And a single huge engine! Another space ship, this time not quite in the Futuron colours, but close: A moonbase fuel pump! Here is a small transportation vehicle used to move light objects or humans around the base: Empty: From the back: Did I mention the radar spins too? Their is a small 9v, yet rather noisy, motor situated in the interior of the building. Comments welcome! *y*

Another interesting review! I must say Mandy, you certainly have a good set up, it pwns mine any day!

Fantastic, especially using official sets, very funny, I like the futuron-classic space argument! Favourite line: "but man, do they get rowdy over their magnets!" And the part about aliens not break dancing was hilarious! Keep up the great work! *wub*

A new picture This has to be one of my favourite space sets ever! From Flickr

Funny as always, with an unexpected ending! The poster is nice too!

These have been mentioned already in the Castle 2008 set thread.

Nay, it is from ACpin's gallery. Anyway it is to good to be made by TLC! X-D

You will do tomorrow! I have finished a small futuron spaceship, nothing amazing, but I like it! It has been named the CHUB-E fighter! :-D Thank you for the kind words ;-) !

Really good Exobuilder! You obviously have a knack for building military vehicles, this one looks great, I am impressed at the number of soldiers it is able to fit. I like the white colour scheme too, unusual! *wub*

I think Legomilk might have got something lost in translation their!

I like your "classic" looking postie van, and that satchel looks perfect on the postman, hopefully if their are any future post sets, that piece will be used!

I like grey more, I have far less bley, so old grey gets used in my MOCS more.

I'm pretty convinced that the big green sphere shaped object in front of the bunny is an apple!

Review: 7622 Indiana Jones - Race For the Stolen Treasure
Lord Of Pies replied to Doctor Sinister's topic in LEGO Licensed
Your welcome! ;-) I highly recommend this set, it is fantastic! -
Shameless self promotion on! ;-) I usually use the Pirate palm trees, with a combination of bush pieces, and flowers. That has always worked for me!

Fantastic! Your WWI looks very realistic, the stone soldiers look good, and the wheelchair looks good to for the WWI veteran. *y* I like the snackbar too, keep up the great job!
