The ship is coming along nicely I must say, I am sure it will be worth all the money and work when it is finished!.....Also your admiral looks very...err...unique, with a fine crew to boot! *y* I felt compelled to post here having been in the space forum for so long, Mr. Phes might get suspicious!

Success!! I managed to make it finally so the visors on the Blacktron minifigs are able to move up and down, using Natelite's advise, they look much better now, more evil and more like the normal Blacktron minifigs! Thanks again! *wub* One Bricklink seller has a ridiculous number of glued Blacktron minifigs, something like 350 of them! *wacko* I'll look into it tomorrow, I can not be bothered today! :-P

Vote now in the Exo-Force Robo Chopper contest!

W00t, thanks Batbrick! I will reserve my vote until later, I can't decide yet! -
Thanks very much for the advise, Natelite! The figs annoy me as the visors are glued so they are open, and I prefer them closed. And they are forced to look forwards only, unable to turn their heads! I will experiment now and try to "un-glue" one minifig, however if it it ruins the minifig, I am afraid I hold you responsible. X-D I am not sure how these figs came to be glued, I did not ask and the seller did not say why, though I think they are promo's, not that i could find much info on Google, I will sniff around a bit more and see what I can find. Bricklink was founded in 2001 BTW

The minifigs are usually asked to just hold their breaths whilst they are out on the moon for a while. :-D I got them cheap however so I cannot complain,

Thanks! :-$ I envy you, with all of your space sets, I have very few, though I want more! :-) As for the comics, they are very well done, the back drop is good too, not distracting at all, and the photography is very good.

Ach, yes, sad reminders of my carelessness towards my precious Lego when I was younger. :-$ I sort of depleted my supply of blue bricks on that MOC and I always have white bricks in an abundance, even of half of them are chewed/yellowed! :-/ As for the lack of airtanks, that is due to the fact that I bought them on Ebay, and they came glued together, same for my Blacktron chaps as well.

Sad to hear that, I hope everything/one is okay. 8-|

What book are you reading right now?
Lord Of Pies replied to Norrington's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Finally finishing off Harry Potter having got bored of them a few years ago. -
The part 3 one was very amusing!! "Think anyone will miss this?" was very funny indeed!

It's great that you have finally spurred us into action, I can see this being the start of something good! As for the walls one must think of some key things: -Easy to build -Basic bricks mainly, so many people can build them. -Same standard size. I think your wall fits most of these things, though I think the design might need, simplifying a bit, but that is just my opinion. Once again, great job!

I forgot him, I can barely keep up with all these new sets! :-P

Yay, the U.K-U.S pricing is vaguely fair! I will be buying some of these babies! *wub*
-
Hmmm $12 in the U.K, not to bad, but not the best price. Shame I just spent
-
Yay, you can purchase an ice cream and then get arrested! Is the ice cream laced with some drug? Personally having an odd prisoner with handcuffs isn't particularly Christmas like, considering the amount of police Lego we get anyway.
-
I always believe you, Sinner! X-D I wish I had a Lego Monorail, especially the space one, and come to think of it, combining the two would look -er- interesting!
-
Their are three Vader heads BTW: (In old grey and bley) And (Bley only)

Awesome, thanks for the pics! I like the police interrogation model, very "Christmas-y" X-D

PICTORIAL REVIEW: 6258 Smuggler's Shanty
Lord Of Pies replied to Lord Of Pies's topic in LEGO Pirates
So I have, oops! I never was very good at maths. :-P -
A curious set, I like the base's colours, I based my futuron base on these colours (Subtle self promotion ON!) however the minifigures are truly horrible, red green and black! :-X Not uniform at all. Yellow and black mixied together for two minifigs isn't much better. At least one received a healthy amount of base plates when purchasing the set! 8-

That actually made me Laugh out loud! As for the odd wrench-RPG, I am sure it is only preliminary, and anyway, we all know that often sets get put together incorrectly when being made to go on display. One plus however though is that the minifig to the left of Indy has a really great torso for army building. 8-

6258 Smuggler's Shanty Overview Smuggler's Shanty was released in 1992, it consisted of 69 pieces, 3 minifigs (two pirates, one Imperial) and it cost $9.25 (USD). The set itself is a small but rather sturdy den for the pirates! Review: The minifigs consist of two pirates and one Imperial. The minifigs are not all that rare, which is disappointing, I would of liked a rarer fig! But still it is a good cheap source of pirate and Imperial figures. Here is an overall shot of the set, which includes the three figs, the shanty which is made using palm leaves pieces, and a nice grey shark nibbling at the soldier's oar. A close up of the soldier rowing hard in his boat. I would have preferred to have a normal soldier with shako hat, as I have more officers than normal soldiers now!: And a close up snap of the main structure. Note the wine glass, which was a nice touch! Funnily enough, only 4 pieces of treasure were included in this set, compared to the usual 8 gold coins in other sets. A view from the back, which also gives a good view of the pieces used to construct the shanty mainly simple black 1 by 1 bricks: The Shanty looks good from most angles but their are a few where the roof construction looks rather odd, but that is just a minor nitpick! Yet another view from the front,, this time at a slightly different angle. The yellow base plate looks rather nice too, I prefer it over the tan pieces we trend to get nowadays: "Attack!!" The Stupid drunk pirate in the background does not even notice! Overall I think this is a rather good set, despite some shortcomings, such as the lack of treasure and odd roof from some angles. The shark, Imperial soldier and useful parts make up for it, and of course the price is cheap on most auction sites, I got mine for a mere 5 ($10), with the cheapest price on Bricklink being $8. Rate the set then leave your comments, thoughts and opinions!!!

Hmmm, I can see an epic, Blacktron/futuron/space police story unfolding!
