  1. I, Sir Glorfindel of Mitgardia am sending Drinian, the leader of my archers to compete in the Archery Tournament at Mpya Stedor. He is accompanied by his squire.
  2. Definitely is a skeleton ship Good work ships are very hard, at least in my book
  3. I am almost done with a free build And I forgot to say thanks to anyone who voted for me
  4. Thanks I actually agree that real bricks look better than LDD builds, but in some situations people don't have too much of a choice. DC: Thanks for replying some good tips I will have to try to work into my builds Great discussion so far!
  5. I've been meaning to comment on this: the first thing that stuck out to me were your stairs to the palace, great part usage I also really liked your boat that is a hat upside down Only one thing bothers me about it, there are gaps in the walls next to the towers, we can't let people in that easy The forest adds a nice touch as well, congratulations on taking second
  6. Good luck on getting your builds finished in time , I know how that is I'm sure you will come up with an idea for Challenge 3 soon, I just figured mine out yesterday
  7. Great job on your mottling and wall decorations I like your roof the way it is, gives it a nice texture. And for the record I think the spy is going to make it
  8. I also really like the roof The tree adds a nice touch, it looks like a nice cool hospital in the desert. Good job!
  9. I like how you did the chains around his wrists, it took me a second to figure out how you did that Nice little scene , but why would the guard let the rat get so close to all the food Keep on building
  10. I agree that it would be nice if the trunks of the trees were bigger, as it is the branches dwarf them. But your design for them works great It must have been a challenging build, but you pulled it off nicely. Looking forward to the next Chapter!
  11. Yay! I get a title Nice work Ecclesiastes, are you sure all your titles will fit in your sig? I'm working on a free build now, and will soon start my entry for the third challenge. We need to get Mitgardia back to the top!
  12. I would love to hear some feedback about my micro Valholl, and how I could have changed it to make it better. (Other than not make it in LDD)
  13. Thanks for the replies guys! I think you both have some very good points.
  14. After entering the Valholl Micro Scale competition, (Link) I started wondering what everyone looks for when voting on MOCs (specifically GoH MOCs). And seeing as the winner of Challenge 3 will be decided by a public vote, I thought this topic might be helpful to people building for that challenge. So what do you look for? * Attention to Details? * Originality in Design? * Size? * Innovative Building Techniques? * Overall look/feel (whether or not it uses fancy techniques) Personally, I mostly use the overall look. However if two builds are pretty close, the one with harder building techniques would get my vote. I would love to hear some discussion on this (I would have made a poll too, but I couldn't find that option)
  15. Yes, there is room in all the guilds except Avalonia. Hope you join Edit: A question for the judges, I'm making a castle for my character as a free build. Would it be alright to use it in the third challenge as well? Just to show my character bringing the gem back there etc.
  16. Well it looks like Ecclesiastes will win again... at least I have the satisfaction of getting some votes However maybe I'll get a miraculous comeback Tomcat RIO: would you mind sharing some of the things you like about each entry?
  17. Did you read his post? He is talking about civilian medieval figures. I would love to see some in future minifig series
  18. Glad to see the voting up Sad to see that LDD has a negative effect on at least 11 people , but oh well. How long will the voting last?
  19. Thanks, I got the idea for the finger hinge bricks from this MOC: My link And I was trying to think of something new to use for tree tops. Thanks Ecclesiastes
  20. Wow, that is really looking good I like your interior, especially the chimney. Looking forward to the next update
  21. Wow!! And I thought you were going to have trouble making a celestial city. I especially like the roofs on your towers, And the arches. Nice work on the cheese slope floors too. Your start looks great, looking forward to seeing the finished project.
  22. Thanks, that really means a lot to me, especially coming from you. It is rather annoying that many great micro scale techniques don't work in LDD.
  23. Nice figs! I'm looking forward to seeing where this go's.
  24. Great job on the rounded shape and roof! Those are tricky to do,the windows look nice as well. I might change the tree a little bit though, maybe make it a little taller. Good work all around
  25. Thanks It was a very good learning experience for me to do the whole base, and some of the buildings in SNOT.
