I figured you (Ecclesiastes) wouldn't be entering seeing as you were in the know long before us. But even if you were, everyone still has a chance, and competition pushes (me anyways) to better builds. I would love to see some previews of your entry for Challenge 3 Mine should be up soon as I took pictures, but my older brother is helping me make my own website (my Flickr space is almost gone and I don't want to spend money on that right now) and it takes longer to make your own website than just put pictues on Flickr

Ooooooh Very nice guardian. A question to fellow Mitgardians, what should I build for my next free build? I would like to start work on it soon but am not sure what to build. I thought about doing the village Sir Glorfindel rules, but would only be able to do one house at a time. So any ideas or input would be appreciated

Thanks guys I have actually wanted to build a watchtower like this for a while but didn't get around to it til now. I would have like to put some diagonal braces in the tower, but I don't have the pieces needed right now.

Thanks Ecclesiastes, and yes it will take quite a bit of time, but luckily I have a decent amount of it for building I think I will be able to keep up with both, though if I have to choose one it will probably be GoH seeing as I started here first.

EDIT: Could a mod please move this to the historic forum? I accidentally posted it here , thanks in advance I made this for the LCC project. This watchtower is on the border between Lenfald and Loreos, Pepin is walking down the path to his new apprenticeship. I know the tower is very basic, but I felt like building something relaxing,and I didn't have too many pieces to work with. I also thought this was a good chance to try out SNOT water. I apologize for the dark pictures, I didn't want to wait for the sun to come out Any C & C welcome

Pertaining to the size limit controversy, I think DC's solution would work great, and would also provide the several smaller prizes some people asked for. I would be very interested in what Gabe just described

Looking good so far Blaze, I especially like your snow covered tree Here is a picture of some of the scenes I made for challenge 3 (the others will just be in my castle). I didn't show everything, as I wanted the main story to be somewhat of a surprise. Any suggestions on how to improve them are welcome

Ah, good point about the lime vent, not sure what I was thinking If I am reading this correctly, you think I should put tiles or cheese slopes on top of the crenelations? That probably would look better, but I don't have the pieces to do that at this time; I might be able to add some in the future though. I think this is going to stay together a while, seeing as it is my character's home. Thanks for the comment

Hello I'm from Mitgardia I am Active Builder and Member I really like the community of GoH, and the feedback given by the judges I also like that it has promoted a lot more building! I am actually very happy with the way it works right now The only thing I might change would be to have a few more smaller prizes for each challenge, so that 2nd and 3rd place could each receive a small prize as well.
