One of my favorite VVs yet and I've seen a lot! Love the color scheme and striping and the shape is superb
-
Thanks I ended up redoing the windows on the bottom floor and I'm glad I did Thanks, I'm somewhat surprised at the popularity of it, it seemed a logical thing to have though Thanks, and he's just lopping the branches off, there's a pile next to him

Very nice technique for the tower and the whole build looks very Kaliphlin The wooden supports holding up the tower looks a little flimsy though Looking forward to first chapter of The Dawn of Ages
-
Some of it is similar to that but he also used slopes sideways with tiles one them
-
Very complex frame but the shape achieved is totally worth it Very nice display base as well
-
Thanks, the walkway to the door was my suggestion The tiles definitely come in handy
-
Really a top-notch build The base sets the scene off nicely and the stone and timbeframe techniques work beautifully The small section of wall ties the houses together nicely and the figs are excellent. My only nitpick is the lifted porticullis, where did the rest of it go? The wall is much to short to contain it

Mitgardia Guild: Homepage, Sign-up and Discussion

Great to see all these Mitgardian builds! I've started on my entry to the Varlryio challenge -
Lovely little landscape Rather surprised how nice the black tree looks and the little stream is excellent
-
Really like the shape you achieved on the front of the towers, looks almost round I would be nice if the left tower top matched the right as I like that shape much better but that's a minor thing. Nice addition of stairs to the back as well Keep up the good work
-
Thank you Thanks
-
Love the lime green/white! Very nice shapes on the vehicles and the beast
-
Very nice! I especially like the contrast of the trans bricks in the prongs
-
Thanks Thanks for the great comment! The dark tan was his idea, I did help a little in telling him how to layer the sand. You're right about the "hotel" too, a house would be much more fitting. This is his 3rd or 4th, the others have been castle builds I don't tend to use red much so that was fair game for him We looked at some bathroom designs from the Modular Madness contest then made one that would fit. Thanks for the comment Thanks, you'll be seeing lots more from him, he's contemplating a space build now
