Should be interesting to see how they depict Hagrid on the motorcycle in minifig-scale, maybe he'll have an entirely new mold that allows him to sit down. DH Ron would be ideal, I assume they'll reuse the Malfoy Manor versions of Harry & Hermione, and probably Luna, even though she wasn't actually in the scene. Another version of Scabior or Greyback might show up if they want to make it an action scene. A House Elf has been murdered in Lego City! HEY! Totally, years 1&2 definitely seem over-represented compared to everything else. The Hospital Wing is the perfect opportunity for a new Dumbledore based on the Michael Gambon version though, hopefully.

When the earlier image leaks of the Slave I released I was worried that it would be too small to hold both Fetts in the cockpit, I'm glad they were able to manage it. I believe this is the first version with room for two minifigs since AOTC was in theatres, I quite like it overall. Although, it's a shame about the lack of arm printing for Jango, considering Din Djarin gets it in far cheaper sets. -
Great news, this was my ideal scenario ever since they started doing movie tie-ins for Speed Champions. I managed to get Doc Brown quite cheap a while ago when all the Lego Dimensions stuff was going on deep clearance, so it'll be nice to get Marty and the DeLorean as well. Although, something I've noticed is that the movie Speed Champions minifigs tend to have sort of odd face detailing compared to other licensed themes, I can't quite put my finger on it. Anyway, really glad they didn't lock BTTF behind some $300 'adults welcome' display piece.

I'm in a similar position, but with the 2024 Skiff figure instead of 2012, I'm currently using his Ep IX body with the Skiff head + Finn's hairpiece. I can sort of accept it as an OT-era Lando since he wears the yellow outfit in one of the Marvel ongoing comics set between Eps V and VI. But yeah, I'd definitely like to see his Cloud City or Rebellion General outfits in a set soon. An OT Falcon in 2027 for the 50th anniversary of A New Hope would make a lot of sense, I imagine it would end up having a shelf life at least as long as the EP IX version. -
Good news, we've been retroactively getting bonus DC sets for the past two years

If we're only getting a single regular battle pack per year now, it does seem like a baffling choice to have half of it comprised of the same Togruta blackface clones that have been on shelves for the past two years. The potential Cobb Vanth helmet is a little strange to me, I can see a couple of potential options: A set based on Season 2 Ep 1 (maybe his speeder?) The new Razor Crest is based on the show rather than the movie, and includes the helmet and jetpack in a storage compartment The rumoured Cobb Vanth vs Cad Bane set is real, and he has a completely inaccurate look for some reason An updated ROTJ Boba (potentially a bust alongside the rumoured Vader) Regardless, it seems like an odd piece to use part of the budget on, they realistically could have got away with reusing the current Boba Fett helmet. -

Punisher is an interesting choice to guest star in the next Spider-Man movie, I get the feeling that Holland's Peter Parker would genuinely despise him. No doubt the movie will stick to a PG-13 rating, so there's a very real chance of getting MCU Frank as a minifig next year. Still hoping Daredevil will show up in something that will allow Lego to make a minifig of him at some point. -

Can anyone with the Fantastic Four set confirm if the Thing uses the same colour as the Fetts/Cho Chang/etc? I'd like to switch his hands out when I eventually get it. So they're getting the Guardians in Infinity War treatment? Rough, at least Bob might have a larger role though. -

I think Cap and/or Thor will be the next mech sets, probably with Loki and Red Skull as the enemies, although it would be a good opportunity to get comic Zemo. All peak, although they'd probably make the Sanctum based on Infinity War so they can reuse already existing minifigures. Don't count on it lmao There's still the Iron Man preschool show coming at some point, that might get some sets like the Spidey 4+ range. -

At the time the CMF would have gone into production it was still believed BTSV was going to be releasing in late June 2025, I think delaying it would have messed up their production schedules too much as they would have had to switch it out for another series. -
Did those Dragon Ball rumours from back in January ever get any updates?

I do wonder how much of an impact fan feedback actually has on Lego's decisions, it seems like the recent eye designs for Sith characters haven't been received well, yet it doesn't look like they have any intention of reversing it. Hopefully they change their minds by the time the Maul show comes out. Maybe there was another reason for the Rebel Pilot helmet to be discontinued so quickly, like not being able to fit in certain cockpits. I was just looking into how the dual-molded helmet was viewed by fans back in 2018, and I did find this part kinda funny, knowing what comes next: -

The fact that Lego is willing to make a full CMF series based on a single project is promising, undoubtedly the next two Avengers movies will be bigger than Spider-Verse was, so maybe this will be how we get some of the other characters, in addition to the regular sets. -

The June sets have started showing up in retail stores here, the price differences compared to the equivalent sets from last year are kinda surprising. Mandalore Battle Pack $29 -- Night Trooper Battle Pack $22 Rex Microfighter $16 -- Plo Koon Microfighter $19 Luke Mech $22 -- Maul Mech $19 I didn't expect them to ever drop the prices of battle packs back down, maybe the Mandalore one wasn't selling well. Microfighter increase is unfortunate though, there's no way an Astromech head is worth an extra $3 An animated OT-era series would be cool, I'd imagine they'd have to overwrite a lot of the 2015/2020 comic series' since there's way too many storylines and concepts that they tried to cram into that period that wouldn't really work outside of a comic context. Also I really wouldn't want to see Filoni try to handle the characters from Andor -
2017 might be my favourite overall, I think that 2016-18 was probably the peak era for all the licensed themes, with the Harry Potter relaunch and Superheroes still getting effort put into it. What pushes 2022 into being one of the best for you? It seems like that was when the flop era truly began

Just watched both Brave New World and Thunderbolts*, wild that of all the characters Lego could have made this year, they used their budget on Sabra and the Miami Falcon (genuinely strange that the former showed up in a super-suit just to stand around on a boat and look at a screen) I don't think we'll get any retroactive sets for *, but since all the members are confirmed for Doomsday and probably Secret Wars, we'll likely get them eventually. 30+ potential characters with new prints is hard to imagine considering how cheap they've been lately though. I'm expecting that the Lego Superheroes designers' favouritism towards Iron Man will mean that Doom is the only character to get leg printing. As for now, I guess this hospital gown will have to do for Bob - -
The quantity of minifigs is cool but those sweaters and builds are just kind of lame to me, probably gonna skip this one. The most interesting part of the AC is that it canonizes Cho as being a year older than Harry, which never really came across in the movies.

Babu Frik check? The advent calendar actually has a lot of useful parts and builds, but at a glance it just looks sort of visually uninteresting, I could see this one going on sale a bit faster than the previous ones. -

They really gave Eddie Brock a chicken does this technically make it a Tom Hardy figure? This is a really solid wave overall - except for the Iron Man 2 set which is super disappointing, I was hoping for it to be based on the zen garden scene The new Bucky Barnes face is also being used for both Eddie and Pietro, I guess it works since there's no real overlap between them, and it suits both of them more than it does for Bucky. Considering that all of the civilian characters have torsos and faces reused from other themes, what pieces do you think a potential Raimi MJ would use? -
This just makes me think of Cal Kestis accidentally murdering an undercover protagonist of a different series while storming through an Imperial base I would throw in a downscaled TIE Silencer remake with Kylo Ren, Hux, and Leia. Or maybe a dual pack with Tallie Lintra's A-Wing.

Just picked up the Age of Ultron opening scene set for 35% of the total retail price, I'd say it's definitely the most well-executed version of these new quasi-diorama sets. Hoping the Battle of Titan is the next scene to get this treatment, I find it genuinely strange how little Infinity War has been revisited despite being one of the most well-received MCU movies. A new IW Thanos and red suit Nebula are probably my most wanted MCU minifigs at the moment. I think it's Dark Azure, which doesn't have any versions with dual-molded white boots in production unfortunately. Agree about him feeling overexposed, but he did shave for Wonder Woman 1984, so maybe he sees his mustache as a good luck charm. (Somehow this is technically a Pedro Pascal minifig) -

If we're going to be getting another 'ugly sweater duo', I'm predicting it'll be Han and Lando reusing their faces from last year's Desert Skiff, with sweaters depicting the Falcon and Cloud City. Although I'd much prefer if they returned to their approach from 2017/18 (Blue Leader, Ahch-To Luke), just a unique non-holiday minifig that the designers wanted to make but didn't necessarily have an opportunity to include in a normal set. Mon Mothma would be at the top of my list in that case. -

One of the Twilight movies had a similar scene content-wise, and they were still willing to release a set based on the series, so I don't think it would rule out the possibility of future Andor sets. I believe an R-Rating/TV-MA is the only thing that would truly prevent Lego adapting something (except that one time with Echo) -

If any character is gonna get the constraction figure treatment in Rebuild the Galaxy, I'm predicting it'll be Jyn Erso, that way they could technically have another tie-in set still on shelves by the time it airs. -

If the Fantasticar makes it though the movie unscathed I could see it being part of the initial Doomsday wave, since Lego generally favours vehicles for the non-spoilery sets. I'm seeing Mon Mothma's speeder from Andor
