  1. Looking at some of the Christmas-themed minifigs, Lego was kinda messed up for this one fr The B1 Battle Droid would be the cop-out answer, but for individual characters I think it might be the current version of Chewbacca
  2. I didn't watch the Kraven movie (seemingly no-one else did either), but do people think there's a chance of a comic Kraven minifig showing up in a Spider-Man set next year? Similar to the Morbius set soon after that movie came out
  3. Guys! What if the Turbo Tank is actually a Rogue One set? With Jyn, K2, and Melshi? (delusional) Man, I just want some Naboo sets, I can't believe Theed Palace has never been made in any form He showed up in a 4+ set in 2022
  4. yooo.. which leaker said this? I recently watched Batman Forever for the first time and I honestly thought it was kinda peak, like a reimagined version of the 60's show. It does have a scene where the villains break into the Batcave, so it would make sense to base the set around that, although I have no idea how well it would sell. Whether the set is from the comics, B:TAS, or Schumacher, I think there's a good chance of getting a new Robin minifig, I just hope it isn't Damian again. Yeah, I did find that off-putting, especially some of the shots towards the end of the trailer. Turns out it's the same cinematographer from The Flash, I found a lot of the angles in that to be super jarring as well, kinda reminds me of messing around in photo mode in a video game.
  5. Lego not doing any tie-in sets for Superman is their revenge on James Gunn for scrapping the Milano/Benatar and making them release this:
  6. I think a partial reason Lego launched the Starship Collection this year was to avoid another situation like Cad Bane's ship, where the set in minifig-scale would have to be pretty large/expensive, but there isn't enough general interest to actually sell at that price point. The Justifier was pretty consistently on clearance everywhere, which I can't say for many other Star Wars sets. The UT-AT seems wayyy too obscure to sell as a minifig-scale set, since it was only in like 10 seconds of Revenge of the Sith, and wasn't even properly in frame. I could see it as a scaled-down build in a battle pack though, or midi-scale.
  7. The new one on the right costs $20 more the absolute state
  8. I imagine the Death Star will either have 30+ minifigs or 2 total Only 1 proper Andor S2 set is honestly super disappointing, it seems like the best hope for normal minifig-scale stuff is the Mando & Grogu movie, since most of the playsets in the past couple of years have been from the Filoniverse/New Republic Era
  9. Damn, The Batman Part II was originally going to come out next year, delaying it even more would suck so immensely How do we tell him?
  10. They're hiding out in the Harry Potter theme
  11. What was the specific wording of the Clone Pilot rumour? I hope a new V-Wing is in the pipeline but if it's a Phase I Pilot it probably wouldn't be that. Lamest scenario would be something like a Republic Gunship Microfighter The Mara Jade/Ahsoka/Hera/Sabine stoic arm-crossing contest gonna go hard in Ahsoka season 3
  12. I know there were rumours of an Endor MBS set for 2025, but I thought that got lost in translation and turned out to be the buildable Ewok set. It would be cool if the Ewok Village does end up happening as well though. I think if they were to make the Endor Bunker, it should be done pretty much the same way as the Mandalore sets from this year. Basically a small to medium size playset with the bunker exterior alongside a battle pack with extra terrain to add on to the scene.
  13. Yeah, The Lego Batman Movie era was great for highlighting random niche characters. Honestly my interest in comics can probably be traced back to me getting Mime from a random TLBM cmf back in 2017. I had no idea who she was, so went to the DC wiki and found the like one issue that she appeared in, which launched me into the 80s-90s era of Batman/Detective Comics, and then a lot of other stuff from the same period like Superman, Teen Titans, and Green Lantern. So I guess Lego making more obscure characters can have that kind of effect, and it would be kinda sad if they only stuck to the basic Batman and Joker stuff. Polybag bundled with a DVD it is then
  14. Some better looks at the new sets are coming out on YouTube, the quality on Spider-Woman's face print is as you might expect It's been kinda funny to see some of the youtubers in the Lego Ambassador Network trying to feign excitement for that Marvel logo set
  15. It's better to just forget about the 5th movie entirely
  16. Nightmare scenario - Lego does make a single tie-in set for the Superman movie:
  17. Just putting a thought out there, but if the only Lego DC sets coming out next year are the 3 in January + Arkham later in the year, how about just having a joined 2025 Marvel & DC thread? It seems like quite a lot of the users are active in both. I'd imagine if the Superman movie does well, then the more family-friendly movies like Supergirl would get actual tie-in sets rather than mechs. I can't imagine Lego not doing at least one set for The Brave and the Bold Although I wouldn't mind if they did something similar to the Suicide Squad-adjacent wave in 2016, making comic-based sets using the characters featured in the movie. The fact that mechs are one of the only ways to get comic versions of DC characters now is making me miss the days of the CyborgCopter and Killer Frost's snowplow
  18. And the 2012 cowl piece, this new one just looks wrong for the live-action Batmen
  19. Kylo Ren seems like a pretty likely candidate for a Microfighter or Mech if they aren't going to make any other Sequel sets I also really want a Babu Frik, I'm predicting that some of his species may show up in sets for the Mando/Grogu movie, as a piece similar to the Baby Groot fig Real. Stories and characters from the Extended Universe are equally as fictional as anything from Disney. The only thing that matters is if it personally connects with you (gonna throw in my recommendation for Outbound Flight)
  20. The fact that the TIE Interceptor/Fang Fighter set is retiring at the end of this year has me leaning towards the TIE Avenger as the other set, since their designs are probably too similar for Lego to want them on shelves at the same time. I don't think it would be paired with another "good guy" ship though, since Cassian will probably be piloting/stealing it based on the trailer Yeah, this is one of my least favourite design choices in recent memory, it makes a lot of characters look straight up blind. Plus it's now spreading to characters from other themes, like Gollum in LOTR
  21. That's a genuinely horrifying concept I think she would have a brick-built body, regular head, and probably use the arms from the Minion minifigs She would make sense as an inclusion in the new Knight Bus set, but it seems like the figure list has already been confirmed.
  22. Hope this rumour is coming from someone more reputable than that Gambit guy, Pietro is somehow one of my favourite MCU heroes, despite having like 10 minutes of total screentime in the whole franchise. I never got the original set he came in, it'd be cool for him and Ultron's final form to get remade for the 10th anniversary of AoU. I could definitely see Lego getting more mileage out of a new mid-fig mold than the current bigfig one. I think the main problem with bigfigs is the kind of personality that the pose conveys. It works fine for Hulk and Red Hulk, but characters like Thanos or Darkseid should be able to use a more neutral position.
  23. I have a soft spot for the Eternals Clearance Triangle, but I don't doubt the way that a lot of these Phase 4/5 sets performed made Lego hesitant to do full tie-in waves for upcoming movies. The Thing being a minifig wouldn't be too bad as long as he has a Chewbacca-esque head/torso piece that gives him a bit of extra size and a rocky texture.
  24. An Imperial vehicle seems like the most probable option for the other Andor set, which would increase the likelihood of getting Dedra as a minifig, Krennic is also pretty likely to show up in either these sets or something in 2026
