Marvel Superheroes 2026 - Rumors & Discussion

'I saw lots of people on the internet agree with me' really doesn't hold up as an argument when we are all existing in these algorithmically curated echo chambers online. -

Saw Brand New Day and loved it! Such a great Spider-man film, really felt like watching a comic book. Regarding the sets: -

I actually think the designers did an amazing job of adapting the tower, which if you look at the wide shot in the trailer, is really quite a complicated building. Yes it’s squashed but this is a £100 playset not a £400 modular. They’ve captured all the important elements and it’s instantly recognisable. It being open on 2 sides doesn’t bother me as again this is a playset not a display model. The way they’ve spread the colours around really works for me (so much better than the Brand New Day big grey rectangle) - Only thing that feels off to me is the white circular background on the logo, should have been red or possibly black. I really dislike the in-universe design of this building (and always have even when it was Avengers Tower) but I can’t fault this adaptation. -

Oh man Ben and Johnny look so good (would still like something to make Ben feel bigger but this is so much better than the previous version) why couldn’t these have been the figs in the Galactus set! I’m probably one of the few people who doesn’t want the Ms Marvel arms for Reed, but I definitely prefer these legs over the brick built ones. Cyclops looks mostly great but the visor feels a bit off, either squashed or too low? I have no real interest in the Thunderbolts (besides Sentry maybe) but their only real issue seems to be hairpieces which are an easy and cheap thing to fix. Thank god they didn’t do gaudy tracksuit Red Guardian. After seeing Cyclops in the first teasers I was hoping for more comic accurate looks for Nightcrawler and Magneto but oh well, not LEGO’s fault and they’ve done an excellent job of them. Sentinel looks good, the three armed feature is fun, will be getting it on discount and trying to bricklink some of the figs from the other sets if they aren’t crazy prices. -

Doesn’t look like the sets are at SDCC, unless they plan to reveal them part way through (I don’t know if they ever do that?) Hope we get something better than these 4 blurry pixels soon -

I’m pretty certain that’s nightcrawler, not gambit in that hand, you can see the blue face. The thing bottom right doesn’t look like a figure to me, if you look at Thor nearby, it’s too small. I think it’s supposed to be torn metal coming out of the damaged sentinel arm on the ground. If you look at the other photo you can see something similar coming out of the bottom of the damaged head. -

The colours looks the same to me, just different colour correction on the picture. Where are you seeing a 7th fig? If you mean bottom right that looks like part of the spare arm rather than a Minifig to me. The extra head is there, bottom left under its foot, the whole base is flipped. I’m not sure this is a prototype, just looks like a different image of the same set to me. -

Could just be the blurry photo but it’s looking very 4+ Sentinel looks great though, was a bit worried they might desaturate the colours for the MCU. My eyes could be playing tricks on me but old Stretch does appear to have the woody/avatar legs (and presumably arms) -

I don’t find it at all surprising that not all characters have been included, there’s just too many and if they hold some back now, they can be included in future sets to help them sell better. I also don’t think they will be using something as woolly as character popularity to determine who to include, there just isn’t enough hard, sales based, data for a lot of these characters. Sure they know Spider-man is popular because they have sales data from sets that just include him but a lot of these characters it will be really hard for them to tell. You have to remember not everyone is terminally online and the majority of people who like these characters enough to buy a set with them in aren’t posting about it online, so online comments are not a good data source for what will sell well. Looking at the spread they mostly seem to have picked the characters that have had the most screen time/were the lead in their movies (barring a few exceptions) which is the logical thing to do. The oddest omission by far to me is Sue, just because they are such a small, close knit team (with the number of them in the name) and she was more or less the lead of their mcu movie. This is most likely based on the focus groups they would have done with kids for the galactus set, I can easily imagine kids not picking her as their fav just based on her not having long legs/big hands/fireballs. Antman not being there is kinda strange but he could have bad sales/bad focus group responses from his previous LEGO outings. Mystique was (for some reason) a lead in most of the Fassbender/McAvoy era movies. Nightcrawler is odd. Shang Chi and Shuri they have sales data for so those sets likely sold poorly. The trailer got me pumped and did a great job hyping up Doom as a threat. Glad he has an accent, gives me hope he’s not just a Stark variant which in my opinion would be doing dirty one of their best characters from the comics. The X-men nostalgia didn’t land for me although if I didn’t already know they (and Steve) were going to be there this really would have hit so hard. Not really their fault, if they hadn’t announced it I’m sure it would have been spoiled anyway. -

There’s some drawings of the sets out. Hard to tell what they’ll be like but some things we can glean: dual molded legs for shirtless Thing (barefoot, not boots). Cyclops appears to have a molded visor (not a guarantee though). No stretch arms for Reed, possibly long legs but it’s very hard to tell and I’m leaning on no. Nightcrawler has a cutlass and it looks like grey hair. That’s about all the interesting things I can make out. Avengerz tower looks surprisingly good for how short it is, quinjet looks like a quinjet and sentinel looks like a sentinel. -

Can I just say thanks to @Mandalorianknight for using the spoiler tag and it would be great if people replying to them could remember to do the same. Even rumours can spoil a movie for those wishing to go in without knowing anything. -

Wow, I was so wrong, was not expecting it to be so different. It looks great but I think I actually prefer the comic version, hoping that comes in a mech or magazine so I can get it cheap. I will definitely try and get some of that shoulder armour though as it really helps to balance the big hood. -

Lego are really trolling us with releasing blue/white dual moulded legs that are not quite the right shade of blue for fantastic four. First the Cute Witch in the cmf and now this cyclist in the June BAM wave -

I'd say the head and legs look close enough to what we have seen of MCU Doom to make me think thats what we are getting, but I would be shocked if we don't get a different torso. The only reason I could seem them changing the legs is if they want to go with a darker green. -

That Scorpion tail looks very different to the leaked promo art we’ve been seeing. I wonder if that’s an iteration thing or if the leaks were fake? Hoping it’s the version Lego adapt as I don’t really like the gappy design we’ve seen previously. -

I also rewatched it last night and still love it. It wears its comic bookishness on its sleeve and doesn’t try to be too grounded like a lot of mcu films (not that I’m an mcu hater like some on this forum). On the rewatch the Minifig Ben made a lot more sense to me, some kind of shoulder piece like for the new rhino fig would have been nice but he kinda works as is. My biggest complaint is still the lack of dual molded legs for all of the figures. I was hoping we might get some in the right colours for that new animal costume cmf but no luck sadly. -

Marvel Zombies was fun! Nice to finally see some of the current heroes interacting. I still think the ‘What If’ art style is cursed but the tone felt a lot more right than in the stand alone zombies episode. I know they won’t but could make for a fun CMF, I’m kinda tempted to pick up a zombie cap now. -

In my opinion this is more likely to be one of two things, as he has proven himself to be very bad at keeping secrets in the past. Either A, these are special measures they have taken specifically for him so he can’t accidentally leak as much or B, he’s had a bit of a telling off and his new strategy in interviews is to pretend he doesn’t know anything. If you believe everything actors say in interviews then Andrew Garfield isn’t in No Way Home. -

I loved the Spiderverse movies (Into more so than Across) and I do think these are good representations of the characters, but they’re all a bit too niche for my collection. This will be the first Marvel CMF where I don’t get a single fig (I am slightly tempted by the werewolf as a novelty). Its funny because if they’d gone X-men ‘97 it would probably have been the first series where I got every fig. Not complaining though, happy for those who will be getting these.
