1. Nice! 2. Is this meant to be an answer to my question about how Splitface splits?
-
If your idea of Splitface's splitting is correct, I will be watching the show for sure! And maybe a new headpiece so his face can split? But yeah, the Glatorian head would be the best choice for this guy, since the helmet has to be two different pieces, and the Glatorian face has the two axle holes on the side.... I digress. If they fixed the Glatorian head for the new building style, I would definitely get it so I could give my heroes better heads. I think that's what you meant by 'fixing it'. I like to put my 2.0 stuff on 1.0, so this could be the big connection. On another point, 'Overlorde'? Wasn't that a video game at some point? I seem to remember seeing something like that at the store...... I like the name, but the concept is WAY overused. And please TLG, no more converted heroes. Because I was getting really tired of that when I watched Rocka call Witch Doctor 'Aldus Witch'. Give us a hardcore bad guy, not some manipulated, sorry mess of emotions. Von Nebula's back story was really lame, and Fire Lord just wasn't evil enough. He talked WAY too much about the past and why he became the way he was. So by the time I watched Savage Planet, I was so tired of the 'manipulated bad guy' concept that I didn't even watch the rest. And I know that I'm hating on this theme too much, because it's for kids and can't have the deep story that Bionicle did. I just want it to be enjoyable for everyone, and reusing the old concepts is NOT enjoyable. Also, 'Front', if it isn't too much trouble for you, can you tell us how Splitface splits? Because it's really bugging me with so little information.

I forgot to put the figs on, sorry. Looks like I'll be updating a lot tomorrow!

Sorry, my photography sucks. For some reason my hands shake whenever I hold a camera. But now that you say it, it does look a little unfinished in those shots. I'll update it with an overhead tomorrow.

Praiter Yed's Star Wars Customs
Darth Nihilus replied to Praiter Yed's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Easy, put the logo on the left arm and the control panel on the right arm. That's how it is in the reference images, and it wouldn't use too much detail. Exellent decal work! -
Pretty cool, but looks kind of like an Eta2 Jedi starfighter from SW. Can you post instructions please? I don't have LDD on my computer.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Season 4 Discussion
Darth Nihilus replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in Culture & Multimedia
1.I hope she dies! Not because I have anything against her, but it would make Grievous look more powerful, and she's replaced by Stass Allie anyway, right? 2.As if we haven't seen that before. Evil Plans, andyone? 3.If we see C-3P0 in a gladitorial arena, maybe C3PX? 4. Oh no! Don't go to your doom, Comet, Sinker, and Boost! 5. But that one from the trailer (Neyo?) had some nasty scars! It might scare the kiddies! But I'll enjoy it. 6. NOOOOOOOOOOO! This is the doom of the Wolfpack! 7. Not again! Obviously, Plo Koon will defeat Grievous, but some twist of fate will allow Grievous to kill the Wolfpack and injure Wolffe, then escape. Typical Lucas logic! This episode does not sound appealing to me, but I'll watch it for continuities' sake. -
I tried to deeplink it, but it says that I am not allowed to use this image extension on this board! I am using Flickr to post my images, so shouldn't it work?
-
I used ARC Commander Sparky's template to make my first clone!: Off topic: How do I deeplink photos?
-
Penguin, I don't get the first one, but the other two are HILARIOUS! I especially like the 'social realism' one. That battle droid looks exellent. Now to figure out the first funny........

As a reply to this, I will quote myself: "I didn't mean how accurate the bridge is, it's in the body for God's sake! I just meant that some sets, like the CTT, could be great with figs, if they did it right. But larger vehicles, like the SSD or the ISD or the Venator don't work with figs. If they did, say, a UCS Venator and put Wullf Yularen and Anakin in it with a bridge in the center, I would hate it because it isn't accurate. But if they did a UCS AT-AT with a troop bay and an accurate cockpit ( able to fit 2 pilots and 2 commanders), then I would like it because it's accurate. When there is an accurate solution to put figs in, I will accept it with open arms." Furthermore, something like that would not compromise the spirit of the UCS line. It would be accurate, and thus suitable for a UCS set. That is my point, and no one can strike it down because it's true.

Nice! C-3PO's really done it this time.... Wolffe looks really pissed off at him! I can't remember if Sinker and Boost had the exact same markings or not before... -
I will post the photos of the evolution in this thread.

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors
Darth Nihilus replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
The pic with all the 'figs and all the sets from the retailer catalog, of course! Here: -
Hello all, I am going to be building a 16 by 16 diorama/MOC of the bridge of a large ship. My question for you is: Should I do the bridge of a ISD, a SSD, a Venator, or an Acclamator? Those are my four favorite flagships, but if you have another suggestion, I will be happy to take it into consideration.
-
I didn't mean how accurate the bridge is, it's in the body for God's sake! When there is an accurate solution to pu figs in, I will accept it with open arms. But the 10221 is inaccurate, and thus I'm not going to spend the $400 just for the figs and a tiny bridge. If it was an Executor Bridge playset, I might consider it. But it isn't. And it never is going to be. I am just going to live with the fact that we can dream, but we are never going to get exactly what we want. Just a year ago, I thought that figs in a UCS would be impossible. But now I have been proved wrong. This is a prime example of how the times are changing. Now, perhaps my dream of a UCS CTT could come true. It won't be as awesome as I think that it should be, but at least there's the chance that it could have figs and an interior.

Nice use of the Nuparu (?) mask on the troll. Also nice sculpting for the 'scaled' look of the face.

LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors
Darth Nihilus replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I just was looking ove the leaked pics again, and I noticed a few things: 1. The minifigs look like they are switching back to the old eye style. 2. The ARC has a printed rangefinder! 3. The sandtroopers have new pauldrons. They are duplicates of each other except for the pauldron color. 4. The tree in 9489 is white. Wtf? 5. The pauldron on the ARC is cloth too. EDIT: I meant kama. The kama on the ARC is cloth. We knew the pauldron was cloth, as it uses Palpatine's shoulder capes. -
Clone Commander Trauma Figure
Darth Nihilus replied to (Dutch)'s topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Wow. That is amazing decal-work '(Dutch)', I could have never done this. Then again, I suck with decals. Did you use TLC's ARF helmet, or Arealight's?
