  2. Very nice!
  3. Ha OK, is that really how everyone does it? I was thinking whether there was a Lego lithium ion battery pack chargeable by USB cable i didnt know about. I honestly didnt realise its just endless replacing of batteries to keep these things going. and on the multiple trains question. Both honestly... I was thinking two or more trains at the same time, but I can also imagine that if you start adding more carriages you might want stronger motors. But I havent gone beyond 4 at the moment and it seemed to work fine so far. So not sure if people really ever need 2 locomotives (apart from design, which can be quite cool) side question: Do you use the standard delivered lego train engines (that are also used in the lego trains) to power them or do people also use lego techniq motors and customer designed powering system? Thanks for your fast response!
  4. Awesome truck design! congrats
  5. Hi All, Big lego fan for a long time. Been collecitng modulars for years and the more older themes like castles/etc. As I recently moved I ended up with a lot of space on my attic for a proper modular lego city. Working on that now putting it all together with roads/traintracks etc. Very focused on designing the train/station/tracks part of the city and found this forum in that capacity! Looks great
  6. Hi Everyone, I've had a modular city of lego for a while and have recently started complementing it with more trains. I'm working on a "modular" train station at the moment that would fit, but wnat to start working on trains later. My first question is mostly focused on power systems and controls. Is there maybe some guidance on how best to approach it. I was curious how others do it. For example some of the more recent lego trains come iwth the standard lego controller and battery powered motors. I don't think these are bad but at the same time super annoyed with the amount of batteries that we go through and was wondering whether there isnt a better way to approach it. My second question is around controls. If you want to run multiple trains, how do people do it? Thanks for all the help. Love the forum so far!
  7. wow, very impressive build. congratulations. Also amazing to see the like for like views you made. Amazing to see
  8. Ha I love the 460, this is an amazing build as well. Especially considering the size. Congratulations
  9. I cannot agree more with rolfbl @RickyWasAYoungBoy. I've been searching for a great version of the RE460 for a long time (big fan in general, have one as well for my Marklin train). Have you considered/tried a version where the white lines for the logo are connected on the diagonal angles (Im sure you did). This looks clean, but was curious Either way. If you would consider sharing the studio-file or instructions / partlist, I would also most definitely pay for it (PayPal, whatever). Feel free to DM me
