  1. Briliant, cheers, thank you both.
  2. I am new to LDD, so please forgive me if this is obvious. I've done a search but couldn't find the answer. I have placed a tile on the board and now I'm trying to place a second tile that is upside down on top of it, but it doesn't seem to be possible. Has anyone achieved this or know how to?
  3. Picked up #79100 Kraang Lab Escape for £3 from Asda last night. It was on a clearance shelf full of toys that hadn't sold in the sale.
  4. I have real mixed feelings about this series, but with a few alterations all the minifigures could be enhanced to add something new to existing themes. With a different head, the Swashbuckler would make a great Errol Flynn. Also can't help but think that the designer is a big Baywatch fan with our very own Mitch and CJ now. It's also good to see the continued use of short sleeves, which make some figures look more realistic to me.

  6. This is a phenomenal MOC - the additional of the birds' heads from the Chima sets remind me of reading Perdido Street Station.
  7. Argos have also got some good half price deals if they're in stock locally. I just reserved these. Heavy Lift Helicopter @ £17.49 Excavator Transport @£12.49 They have some other good deals here.
  8. There are a couple of sets at half price plus 15% discount for using code FL72 at Debenhams. Stephanies's Soccer Practice @ £5 (£4.25 inc. discount) Wakz' Pack Tracker @ £15 (£12.75 inc. discount)
  9. Welcome to Eurobricks Kez. It's great to have more people from the UK.
  10. I really like how you've done the side of the platform, looks great.

  14. Very good review, thank you. I also found problems with stability and have had to repair the main building several times. Overall though, of all the sets that I have bought recently, this is one of my favourites. I especially love the colour combinations in the dragon.
  15. Welcome to Eurobricks. It's cool that both you and your partner both take an interest.
  16. I don't recollect where King Arthur held his seat, but I would like to suggest the name of his birthplace, Tintagel as the name of our capital in keeping with the name of our realm.
  17. Great MOC, what set is the torso of the two ninjas from?
  18. I had a bit of spending spree with the TRU and Argos 3 for 2 sales. I just finished building the 2507 Ninjago Fire Temple, which I was really impressed with. It a bargain at around £40 by the time you take off the discount and apply the discount from buy 3 for 2, and it comes with a lot of cool parts. Just finished building the 4183 PotC The Mill too, which is a great little set. The water wheel is particularly clever.
  19. I really like this, great realisation in Lego of a classic scene.
  20. I agree, awesome.
  21. My first set was 7101, which I bought whilst still at university. This thread led me to to look at what other ones I bought that year, and I can't believe the prices of the sets now, especially 7171. I still have an unopened one of these somewhere, which I'll now be checking on to make sure it's safe and secure... thanks to this post.
  22. Looks very solid and I like the use of one of the guild colours. I think that it could use some foliage, perhaps the dark green parts to match our other guild colour.
  23. Your tower looks great, very sturdy. Lets hope it's impregnable too.
  24. Excellent. I particularly like the way that you have been creative with the lego to use unusual parts to imitate some of the features of the real building.
  25. In addition to the buy 2, get 1 free off at Toys R Us, if you spend over £50 on Star Wars lego, you get a free £10 voucher. I bought the following, which was already discounted. 7877 Naboo Starfighter for £31.49 (RRP £40.99) 7869 Battle for Geonosis for £34.99 (RRP £35.99) 8075 Neptune Carrier for £29.99 (RRP £39.99) So I got the Atlantis set for free, and saved £10.50.
