  1. Toys R Us have a buy 2, get one free deal on for the next three days. They also have quite a few sets discounted, so you could save even more. http://www.toysrus.co.uk/index.jsf?fh_location=//trus/en_GB/categories%3C{trus_trus}/itemtype=product/savings={savings}/brand%3E{brands_brandlego}
  2. I have just been looking through some old boxes of Lego and came across a new set that I didn't even know that I owned. I just found a brand new, although the box has a few minor creases, 6824 Space Dart I, which I didn't even know I owned. What's the best find that anyone else has found?
  3. I think that this is the right approach, different colour schemes to represent different clans that rally to your banner. If dark green is the primary colour of Avalonia, it would make sense to try to combine other colours with it in our standards to represent our allegiance.
  4. After much soul searching, Edgar the True, and his stalwart family and followers, pledge the allegiance to the banner of Avalonia. Determined and dependable, they will march in battle with the bull's head on their coat of arms to honour the lands of Avalonia. I'll update the avatar shortly. I need do purchase some sand green penants and play around with the designs.
  5. Just noticed both of them. They're the most exciting parts now.
  6. Hi, I am interested in buying one. How much would postage cost to the UK? Regards, Michael
  7. Just looking at this again, what part do you use for the brown wall studs?
  8. What a beautiful MOC. It's so realistic. I've been working on using tiles to represent a wooden frame too, although I've run out of modified bricks.

    Good looking MOC, drains are a nice touch.
  10. I would like to see the Kingdoms theme continue and especially would like to see more mundane buildings like the mill, although I would welcome a LOTR themes too, and a Heroica theme sounds interesting.
  11. I also like the idea of North, South, East and West. With the PoP and Expedition sets, I have been toying with the idea of a more Arabian flavour (plus I've been reading Martin's Game of Thrones, which has this flavour). I would suggest: North: Dwarves, Orcs & Skeletons South: Evil Humans like Bulls, Fright Knights & Green Dragons East: Arabian West: Good Humans like Lions & Crowns
  12. I agree, I think that if Lego are to create a LOTR theme, they'll only do so if they can do it justice. Just the thought of figures and lots of cool pieces is enough for me. I love some of the unusual colours and pieces that have become availabl from the POP sets.
  13. Great reviews, thanks. I didn't realise that Lego had released as many sets as that. It would be really good to see a revival of the theme.
  14. I like the large perimeter track as it provides a large area inside, which can be used for many city themes from rural to urban.
  15. Argos currently have all the PotC sets on offer, including 4194 Whitecap Bay for £43.99.
  16. I'm working on something similar for my first MOC contribution, although maybe a century earlier. I am using the Olde Black Bear in Tewkesbury for inspiration as it's reputedly the oldest pub in Gloucestershire.
  17. I couldn't help but smile when I saw a thread about being British and reading several comments about the weather within the first few posts. Just for the record, there's been a few heavy showers here in Worcester. While waiting for MotD, I caught the end of Proms and I felt rather patriotic to see all the flags flying to songs like Jerusalem and the National Anthem.
  18. You can download the coupon here.
  19. Definitely Blacktron. There were some great MOCs at the Great Western Lego Show in Swindon, UK, last year.
