  1. We want LEGO DC sets... from that show for example? Marvel has it own animation show in Disney+ which is very popular. Where is our SHOW!?
  2. Good question... Shadow Box is Batman Returns set... that was like a horror movie. Still lego makes sets from it.
  3. X-Men '97 is an American animated television series created by Beau DeMayo for the streaming service Disney+, based on the Marvel Comics superhero team X-Men. It is a revival of X-Men: The Animated Series (1992–1997), continuing from where that series ends. So was Marvel once again faster than DC? That show seems to be popular. AND we don't even have Batman: Caped Crusader. So that 200 euro / 200 dollar set could be from that Disney+ show.
  4. Could it be something BTAS related? Because this year 2024 that animation are celebrated. So it could be BLUE Batmobile.
  5. PLEASE! That car is amazing! Is it somehow possible you would make Batman related sets and/or more Ghostbusters sets!?
  6. So LEGO can make sets for adults BUT not from DC & Batman?
  7. GUYS! We might get some sets of these movies and tv shows: DCU–Chapter 1: Gods and Monsters - Superman: Legacy (July 11, 2025) - The Authority (TBD) - The Brave and the Bold (TBD) - Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow (TBD) - Swamp Thing (TBD) - Teen Titans Live Action Movie (TBD) Elseworlds - The Batman 2 (October 2, 2026) - Joker: Folie a Deux (TBD) - Constantine 2 (TBD) TV Shows - Dead Boy Detectives (April 2024) - The Penguin (Possible 2024 Premiere) - Peacemaker Season 2 (In-Development; On Pause Due to Ongoing Strike) - Waller (TBD) - Creature Commandos (In Production; On Pause Due to Ongoing Strike) - Paradise Lost (TBD) - Lanterns (TBD) - Kite Man, Hell Yeah! (TBD; Sometime in 2024) - Booster Gold (TBD) (No word from Batman: Caped Crusader)
  8. So if DC universe is starting again... which characters they pick?
  9. It is not just the amount of sets? Look what kind of sets both Marvel and DC has have... in recent years. Super big sets. Amazing sets! Batman is not going anywhere. The opposite. They have think in DC what to do with their characters. TLG should make new LEGO movie. Maybe LEGO Justice League? https://screenrant.com/dc-batman-lego-movie-box-office-success/#:~:text=The movie was a hit,on a much smaller budget.
  10. So in 2017 - how many Batman related sets we got? AND after that started downhill... ... The LEGO Batman Movie was a spinoff to 2014's The LEGO Movie, a surprise box office hit that also featured a scene-stealing voice performance from Will Arnett as Batman. Chris McKay directed the animated Batman flick, and it featured an all-star cast including Zach Galifianakis as The Joker, Rosario Dawson as Barbara Gordon, Michael Cera as Robin, and Ralph Fiennes as Alfred. The movie was a hit with critics and audiences, and performed admirably at the box office, garnering $312 million worldwide against an $80 million budget. What's surprising is that The LEGO Batman Movie did better than the last three DCEU films on a much smaller budget. Shazam! Fury of the Gods grossed $133.8 million worldwide on a $125 million budget, making it one of the studio's biggest bombs. The Flash didn't fare any better, grossing around $270 million worldwide on a $300 million budget, and Blue Beetle flopped as well, garnering $128.6 million on a $104 million budget. While these films did make some money, it was their outrageous production budgets that cost DC and Warner Bros. millions in losses.
  11. "After three years in the late 2000s making only Batman sets, 2012 marked the beginning of a range of sets focused on the entire DC canon (minus the parts that would be at odds with LEGO's standards). The floodgates were open- we could finally have Superman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, Green Lantern (every one of them) in minifigure form. However, after 11 years, it seems like we're back to square one: nothing but Batman." And in this article, I ask why. https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/lego-dc-comics-crisis-identity-luke-canady
  12. I think Marvel happened... DC is still trying to find new path for their movies / universe.
  13. TLG would be crazy to abandon DC license.
  14. So you are saying TLG will quit DC license?
  15. So TLG makes the Shadow Box and then another BIG set... Art? AND we, you, someone, somebody... complains. Why don't you make MOC's about those 2 sets? We have opportunity make own batcave. Where are all The Batman (2022) batcaves? We have also opportunity buy 2 technic batman sets...
  16. I just bought my first Technic set. Yes it is a motorbike from The Batman (2022).
  17. If we compare Marvel sets - there are some buildings. BUT I have to check out are there civilians for example.
  18. Not everyone knows that? Some has not seen the movie. If you look that BOOK you see a lot of lego stuff. For example how they make LEGO DC sets. Figures, vehicles, locations and so on.
  19. Yes. But why not by normal book? a SAMPLE of the BOOK:
  20. I agree! By the way... if you are interested The LEGO Batman Movie... there are some images and a BOOK: https://conceptartworld.com/books/the-lego-batman-movie-the-making-of-the-movie/
