  1. Oh that is such a great news to wake up to. I didn't expect for us to get another transformer, since the Optimus wasn't really selling to well from what I saw, but I guess it sold well enough. And this is also great that he isn't too expensive, and I will be definitely buying this. I don't really think that this will happend, since he could either be a gun or a tank, and I don't really see lego doing that. I think that Soundwave would be perfect for some Decepticon representation, he is still really iconic (the Decepticon logo is even based on his head) and his transformation won't be too hard I think. I personally would take literally anything transformers related, so I don't care what we could get next.
  2. Lego by themselves have now leaked half of the ninja and Ras for the summer, I can,t remember when something like that happend before. I'm really surprised that they are using his regular hair, and not the one with the handband. But I do have to say that I personally find that to be a good thing, since I didn't have cole's regular movie hair yet. The fact that he has 4 swords is quite interesting. On one hand that is great that you can fit 4 swords, since the previous armors could only fit 2 at max. But on the other this would take a lot of space to have the swords fit, which could make it hard to have him fit in different vehicles with it.
  3. I just found on brickmerge that the new dreamzzz polybag, is set: - 30660: Zoey's Dream Jet Pack Booster / 37 pcs Personally that is really great, since the cheapest set that she comes in is $50. But I do wonder if she and the other main characters get new minifigures for the summer wave.
  4. This is one of 2 minifigures from S1 that I don't have, but I didn't get them because they are not canon. I'm disapointed that this isn't anything from S2. Because we got the Wolf Warrior, and now we got two S1 minifigures for some reason. With Cole and Nya, you could get them both from Pick a brick. If you didn't have any problems with using this service, I'll highly recommend this option to get the minifigures. Every single minifigure from S1 is available there, so you could also get other minifigures at a great price.
  5. New Lord Ras leaked I didn't expect them to change Ras, or maybe at most do some small changes. But this is a completely new design, and I have to say that I absolutely love it. The return of the crystalised general armor is a great inclusion. He has a lot of red on him, which I think relates to the blood moon. With that I do also think that the wolf warriors and the 2 generals would also get a massive change.
  6. Persanally I do like most of the creatures build in that way (even that fluffy). Maybe in some things that doesn't work, but for example the dragons from Elves are like so smooth(and they are 8 years old now), if the dinosaurs were build like that they might be matching the molded ones a bit. Molded parts would no matter what look better then brick build(unless the thing is huge), but the posability in the molded dinosaurs is quite bad. Like the brachiosaurus has an only posable neck and head, if it was brick built there wouldn't be a problem with that, and also they could make it even bigger if it was like that. At the end I do have to say that the dinosaurs are fine how they are, there definitely is a charm to them. And like lego won't change them no matter what either way. But I'd personally would prefer them if they were like the Elves dragons.
  7. I would personally think that the best option for dinosaurs in Jurassic sets would be a mix of brick built an molded. Just like the Ninjago dragons or the creatures from Avatar. The dinosaurs would have molded heads and the rest of the body would have been brick built, with maybe some extra molds for other small details. That would also lower the cost of the sets and make the building proces a bit better I think. The only problem with that would be the fact that the dinosaurs in 4+ sets would look terrible, just like the 4+ ninjago dragons. But I'm comletely fine with how the dinosaurs are, there is something about opening a set with big molded parts that I absolutely love.
  8. With the t-rex from the T-rex breakout I do agree, but the buildable T-rex form the T-rex rampage is an amazing build, both in design and posability. like I could see some people not being the biggest fans of it, but to call it hideous feels a bit too much. Like I don't understand how you don't like it, but that is just your opinion and I can respect that I guess.
  9. here are the descriptions: 71816 Zane's ice motorcycle $10 - 84 pcs - The bike has ice blades that can be folded sideways. minifigures: Zane, Wolf Warrior 71818 Tournament battle arena $50 - 654 psc - it has a small blue and yellow dragon as a side build. minifigures: Sora, Kai, Evil Jay, Wolf Worrior, + 2 unknown 71820 Ninja team combo vehicle $90 - 576 pcs - it has a car for Lloyd, a plane for Sora and 2 bikes for Cole and Nya. All the vehicles can be combined. Minifigures: Sora, LLoyd, Cole, Nya, Tournament Jordana, 2 Wolf Warriors 71821 Cole's titan dragon mech $100 1055 pcs - The biggest ninja mech. It has dragon wings, a big sword and some play features. Minifigures: Cole, Wolf Warrior , + some unknown 71822 Source dragon of fire $150 1716pcs - It is mostly red and orange, with some orange, yellow and black details. It should also have some transparent pieces for fire details. it has a new dragon head mold and big horns. the set includes the 6 other source dragons in spirit form. It has a figure who is the character featured on the Gong of Shattering. They have a new head mold with small horns, red eyes and teeth. Minifigures: Kai, LLoyd, Ras, ?Ras's master, 2 Wolf Warriors They came from Ridexninjagoleaks o IG, without any deeper source, but it is the usuall time that we would get the summer descriptions so they could be real. Now that I'm looking at all the descriptions they sound more real, since Arin isn't listed in any of the sets, and if someone had made it up they would at least include all the ninja. Also there would be more descriptions for the builds since the only build description that we have for the Arena is the fact that it has a dragon.
  10. I haven't bought a single lego city set since 2015, but that might just change because of Johnny Thunder being included in the Jungle sets. And also he is in the $10 set, so that is also great that you don't have to spend much if you are only interested in him. But also this year's city sets have been really great so far. Even the police stuff is the best since a few years. And don't even get me started on the space sub-theme. As someone who absolutely loves the original space action themes from the late 2000s / early 2010s this is right up my alley. But there are 2 things that are holding me back from purchasing city sets. The first one is the fact that everything is just super generic, with stuff you can usually see in real world. Which is the theme's premise, but still I much prefer si-fy / fantasy stuff.(like even the last set I got was from the 2015 ocean exploration sub-them) The other thing is the sets simplicity, the sets usually range from 5+ to 7+, and my favorite part of lego is the building proces, and especially some interesting building technics and mechanisms.
  11. That might be because it doesn't seem too marketable. A set based on a youtube short from 2019 that would have a campervan, an Allosaurus with minifigures being some generic family doesn't really sound like something general consumers would be that interested in. And also we have 2 movies from which we had no sets from (except for some studios sets from 23 years ago, which were like only accurate in concept) so TLG would more likely made sets from them before this. Maybe we could see a set based on that after that, but I don't really know. Especially when we could still be getting new movies. I could also see them doing something like with the CC sets, with including the JW characters while they are not accurate to the set.
  12. It was from a polish lego youtuber TommY. It's the video with Wu and Evil Jay on the thumbnail. The video is in polish but it has english subtitles. The reason why Bricks by mind hasn't made a video on them is because he only covers them if they are covered by Promobricks, 1414falconfan or Ninjawhip. Promobricks didn't even post descriptions on the January or March waves, and the last falconfan post on ig was about all the f1 cars. So they took like a break or something. What also might sugest that this are not fake is the fact that we got some imformation on same summer sets reveald on like December or late November, and they ended up being real. But i'm not too sure on that and these descriptions might end up being fake after all.
  13. The descriptions were actually revealed before we go the march sets pictures. They were mentioned in a video that I saw about the extra information for the march wave (about Euphrasia and the other stuff) Then I wasn't sure if they were real, but I guess they are. The first thing is that the wolf warriors are returning. There isn't much said about them, but I hope that they would get a new variant, but I won't mind if they don't, since we are getting 3 different ninja suits this year. Some of the unknown figures could be members of the Forbidden Five. At least one of the unknown figuers should be Arin, since he isn't listed in any of the sets. It's nice that Jordana is said to have a new suit. Cinder isn't mantioned in any of the sets, but there are the unkown figures so he could be there. Ras appears to be the same. Ras's Master is the face from the Gong. I do love villains with specialised head moulds, so this is making me interested in the Source Dragon set. The Source dragon is yet another big set with a weak number of figures. The description doesn't really give us that much, but the other source dragons in spirit form sound really interesting. The Cole mech has dragon wings. I do hope that it also has a tail and a dragon head mould on the head, and some other dragon features. The fact that it has a sword is a let down, like a cole mech should have a hammer or a scythe. And also with all the unknown figures this seems to be another Nya's samurai X mech situation. The ultra combo vehicle appers to be yet another ultra sonic raider. We don't have the color scheme of it yet, but if it's mostly white, then I think that this set could be an easy skip for me. From the Arena and the Bike there isn't really that much but they both sound great. You can easily get the full ninja team when you buy the three smallest sets, which ads up to about $150. And you don't get any duplicates with that. But Ras's master is only in one set, at least for now. He might be in a different set, since there are so many unknown figures in this descriptions. My guess is that he also could be in the cole mech. So the sets that I'm the most interested in for now are the Cole mech, Source Dragon and the Zane bike.
  14. That list made planning on which set to buy so much better. I still hope that maybe we would get something similar this year. At least with mech suits for Cole and Jay I personally think that the sets are a better option, like the Cole mech is a great build and you can easily get it on a discount for about $16, and the Jay mech speaks for itself . even the Kai mech with 4 figures for only $30 feels great. Also the main build in that set is like really great, like that set was praised in every single review that I saw.(but with all that I don't think that it's a must have set, $30 is still something) So personally I don't care that much about the mech suits being included in the magazines. But I'd like for them to include as much of the climber suits as possible. since half of the suits are exclusive to a $120 set, Jay is only in a $70 set. Cole is in the cheapest set, but that set is super overpriced, and also $50 still isn't little. Also all of the s1 suits were available on Pick a brick. So maybe all of this year's suits would also be included there.
  15. The arm printing seems to be shared in both of these suits. So that doesn't mean that Sora would lose an arm.
  16. So the sets got revealed and I have to say that I'm pleasantly surprised by them. Riyu the young dragon - the new images make it look a bit better for me, and I do have to say that I do like the design of him. But the minifigure selection is kinda lame for me, with only Sora's hair piece being the only thing that interests me. I do like the build but I'm not too huge on it. $15 is a small price for the set, but that's still something and I'd rather save my money for something else. Arin's off-road buggy - At first I wasn't a fan of the design, but after seeing more images of it I do have to say that I do quite like it. The fact that it can fit 2 minifigures inside is great, and also it has suspension which is absolutely amazing. The other detail that I like on it is the Riyu sticker on the spoiler, like that is super cute. But I don't like the fact that there is just too much dark blue on it, like it isn't even on arin's suit. The minifigure selection is quite great in it. Getting Cinder is nice, but the stand out here is Climber Cole. I can easily say that he has the best climber suit, like the other suits have a problem with the colors of the 2 part mask piece not really matching too well, but cole has it in just black which makes it great. But a big turn off with this set is the price. like it looks like a 30/35 set, maybe 40 but 50 is just too much for it. especially with only 260 pieces. Like being able to build a 50 set under 1 hour 30 minutes is just not great.(unless it is a Jurassic set) The other thing in this set that is interesting is the fact that Riyu is still small, which might suggest that s2 takes place before the Social Media Ninja short. Kai's climber mech - I'm the most interested in this set. the official reveal doesn't really give us anything new in the main build. But there is Jordana with a jet pack, and I was kinda expecting a glider that you can stand on, but what we got is still quite nice. The minifigure selection is small for $70 but what is included in it is great. But I do have to say that the color matching on Jay feels quite weak, maybe it would look better in person. and also I would get the new sword piece from this set, which is a really great new mould. Dragon stone shrine - The life style images make it feel bigger then it look before. which is kinda making me want it now. I do like the fact that the platform where Ras and Lloyd duel san move from side to side, and it actually has more stuff on the back of it. What I especially like is the feature where you can reaveal a hidden book. I dislike the fact that Kai and Nya are in their s1 suits, like the climber suits would fit fine with it. But the other minifigures are great. it's nice to get Ras in this set, and a new Wu is a pleasent surprise, like I expected that they would just reuse his core suit. it's nice that you also get the hood with Euphrasia, but other then that she looks fine and there isn't really anything more to say about it. Shadow Dojo - this set looks really great, and also it feels huge for the price. This just looks like an all in one set, since you get the 3 main villains. Also half of the climber suit are exclusive to this set, so that is also making it more attractive. The interior of the Dojo feels quite bare bones, but that can be forgiven because of the exterior which is feature pact. But I don't think I'd get this set. Since this would take up a lot of space, and I do own the Ninja dojo temle and the Monastery, So I don't think I'd want another big dojo. But I'm not too sure on that and I might actually end up getting it. Also the fact that this would be a Lego store exclusive is a turn off for me. So with that the only set that I'm considering on getting is the Kai's Climber mech, so with that I'd also get the $10 Jay mech, $20 Cole mech and the $30 Kai mech, which would ad up to $130. Maybe I'd get The Shrine, and a bigger maybe is the Shadow Dojo, but that would depend on the summer wave.
  17. The student minifigure is definitely Euphrasia. There was a full description of this set a few days ago, and that was not a regular description it was like a official description that a retailer would place as the product description. Also there is the Duck Bricks hands on video in which there is said that there is someone for the first time, which that would only suit Euphrasia.
  18. I have to say that I'm not a fan of the dragon stone temple. That is mostly because I had different expectations for it. I expected it to be like the unikitty castle thing or whatever that's called that is in set 41455, but it's completely different from that. The other let down are the minifigures because I expected there to be the climber suits but instead of that these are the s1 suits, but this is just a prilimary image so that might change. But I doubt that. I wanted lloyd to come with a cape, but he has an armor piece, which is fine I guess. The Wu seems to be new, at least the legs are from what I can see. I the other character should Euphrasia, like that designer interview makes it quite clear. Now the build I can see a lot of people find appering, but I'm personally not a fan of sets that are just for display, and there isn't really much stuff that you could do with it. Like it looks amazing but that is about it. The final thing is that this set feels too small for the price, which shows that ppp isn't always everything, like I could give it 90 at max so with that and the other problems that I have with it I most likelly won't buy it. Now there's just the Arin's buggy left to be reveald.
  19. The first image didn't really sell me on the set, but this one kinda does. I do really like the design of the mech's cockpit area, these angled parts really make it stand out. But with this image now it looks quite small for what it is, like the arms feel like they are simillar size to the $30 Kai's mech which doesn't look good for a mech at $70. I do quite like the second pair of arms they are really skinny, but I think that they fit with the whole design, and also before I wasn't sure if there would be some articulation on the second pair of arms but they do have that standard big mech ratchet joint articulation, but I don't know on how much articulation will it actually have. And also there is a villain vehicle in this set, and villain vehicles are always a + for me. I don't know how big it would actually be, but I'd hope that it is quite substential, and it isn't just like the imperium gliders from the Zane car. So now I'm kinda considering this set, but the only thing that is holding me back are the minifigures. Because only 4 minifigures for $70 doesn't sound good at all, especially when there is a $30 Kai mech with the same amount. The previously rumoured 2 wolf worriors would have been perfect, but instead of that there is just Jordana, who I'd have from the smaller kai Mech, so that's even worse for me personally. But the other minifigures are quite great with it being the only way to get climber jay and from what I saw I do really like the climber suits a lot. The new Wyldfyre is also neat, but I do own her s1 design, so I'm not that into getting her.
  20. I was thinking about getting the Riyu set, but now I don't think I will. The build feels quite weak. maybe if we get more images I might like it more. The other turn off for me are the minifigures, since they are reusing the s1 suits. I kinda expected that would be the case, but I was hopeing that maybe they actually would get new suits. But what I like about this set is the new Sora hair piece, but I won't get the set just for that, since the summer minifigures would also have hair. So with that the Arin's buggy would also have the s1 Arin, so that makes me less interested in that set as well.
  21. Well lego made a 6+ set that is based on Dennis Nedry's death. So that won't be too far off. Also who was supposed to be killed in the Baryonyx boat? from what I know that set doesn't really represent anything, it feels just like a generic Jurassic set. The only think that comes to my mind is how Tiff died in CC s2 but that boat is completely different (like it can't even be compered).
  22. Climber Jay should be included in 71812: Kai's Ninja Climbing Mech.
  23. The Shadow Dojo should have the climber suits in it. Since from the box art we know that we are getting Climber Lloyd, and that is the only set from march that has a regular Lloyd minifigure, also from that we would have climber Zane since he is also rumoured to be only in that set. The Dragonstone Temple should have the climber suits as well.
  24. I don't think that is a new armor piece, it feels like it's just the regular s11 armor piece. Because that is just a render so it could be different, like the kai's climber suit on the side of the box has a lot of differences from the actual minifigure. From the design of Zane I'm a big fan of the new suit design. the dragon scales are a nice piece of design, and I was only missing the half mask piece in white so that would be a nice way to finally get it. The only think that I'm not a big fan of is the lack of light blue, because that color on Zane is what makes Zane suits the best of the whole ninja suit line up for me personally. It's nice that this would be available in a $10 set. The first leaks for the winter wave said that the ninja would have simmilar suits to the s3/s4 suits, which would be the perfect way do describe this new zane suit. So that seems really interesting for me right now on why we had descriptions for these suits.
  25. The magazine is only referencing the show, like that means nothing in regards to the sets. But I can see it actually happening, since the summer wave has a lot of big sets. And also we had 2 big base bulids for the heroes, so it would make sense to get one for the villains now. So the Monstrous Fortress could be any of these sets: 71478: $115 (1203 pcs) 71484: $85 (917 pcs) 71485: $130 (1333 psc) 71486: $ ? (1742 pcs)
