Jurassic Properties 2025 - Rumors & Discussion
mantax replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
I feel like both of these sets could be based on JP3. The Spinosaurus escape could feature the plane scene, and the other is the boat from the end of the film. The reason why it has a mosasaurs might be because they didn't wan't to repeat the dinos, so they just included the one that fits the most with the build. Other then that I could see 3 more things 77983 could be: 1. The boat scene from Rebirth, but this time the boat is a lot bigger and better. With it we might get Nina, who was the only character missing in the sets. 2. The boat from Camp Cretaceous. 3. It's based on Dominion, as there was one scene of the Mosasaurs attacking a boat. -

I really don't see that being the case. From what I remember back when the set released most fans were satisfied with it. If there was a set for which the legacy version didn't do enough justice, then that would have been the Ultra Sonic Raider. That one was missing so many features that the original had, that it felt more like a remake of the 2016 one.- 750 replies

The X-1 ninja charger feels like the worst option for the last 15th anniversary set. The previous legacy version was a perfect improvement from the original in almost every way. While this doesn't look that great on paper I feel like they could add some things to make it a lot better. I would really love to see it done in the style of a diorama. This new version will have 92 more pieces, so I'd actaully see them making the car a bit smaller, and with it they could include a part of a road to which you could attach the car plus some nindroid hover vehicles to make it more dynamic. I don't see this set having just the car when it's targeted at older fans. The Land Bounty on the other hand sounds really great to me. It shouldn't be a legacy version of the 2019 one, but I always love mobile base type sets, so this immediately has my interest.- 750 replies

There's also going to be the Old Town, which is weird that it hasn't been revealed yet, as it is also going to release in January. I didn't think about that before, this actually seems like the only logical explanation for it.- 750 replies

LEGO Ninjago 2025 Rumours and Discussion
mantax replied to Classic_Spaceman's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
These new sets are a bit of a mixed for me, I definitely wouldn't call any of them bad, but most of them aren't anything special to me. Kai's mech - For sure the best looking mech from these $10 battle packs, but it also has the worst minifigure selection. Riyu - The head just looks wrong , but the rest of the build looks as good as it could have possibly been at this price point. I especially love how you can give him the weapons from Cole's mech(for that set and the display I have nothing new to say). Jay's car - It just feels very boring compared to what you had with other ninja cars at this scale. The function to change the front just doesn't make that much of a change to the car, and you even have to do it manually. It does look good, but that I can't say about the price. Treehouse - This just feels like an amazing playset with so many things to do. So I'd say that this isn't really something for me, but I can appreciate it for what it is. The Arc dragon - From the leaked image I wasn't really a fan of it, but now I can say that it is just an amazing set all around. It's got a great minifigure selection, a nice villain build, which is relevant to the show. It doesn't look to be that much smaller then the Source dragon of motion, while it also has a high level of detail almost everywhere. I've seen a lot of critique for this set on different places, and maybe expect for the wings, I can't really understand why. The spinners are also great, The Nya one is a must have for me, as the mutation monster has the best design from all of the new villains in my opinion. It's also funny how the Earth monster somehow has a unique hat piece there. We know that the monsters come from corrupted elemental powers of the Ninja. There are also going to be 3 more in the summer wave. and I'm really curious on how they could represent the corrupted versions of Ice, lightning and Fire. With that I expect that the same Loyalist minifigures are also going to show up in the summer sets, but I think that the Monsters are going to be all new. Also the monsters are going to grow in size later, So it would be nice to see one maybe be around the scale of a Titan mech, and that to be a set itself(or at least one slightly bigger then an Elemental mech)- 750 replies

LEGO Ninjago 2025 Rumours and Discussion
mantax replied to Classic_Spaceman's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
There are some low quality images of most of the sets. I thought that Kai's bike in the Treehouse is going to be in the same scale as his previous one, but it's about the size of the original Blade Cycle. At least the design is a lot diffrent from his previous Bikes, but still the parts from it could have gone to expending the treehouse. The actual Treehouse here doesn't really look like a treehouse, but it still looks really nice from what I'm able to see. I'm mixed on the Riyu set so far, and I think I'd need better images to fully judge him. For now the head looks too small, and he doesn't look worh $45. But now I can at least say that I really love how he has a sword in his jaw, with that I also would like to see that done with other ninjago characters, as there is a piece for that in the new One Piece sets. Now this set does hove some really nice minifigures, With it being the only other set to have that Loyalist, and the new Arin. Also this is our first official look at the Green Monster, who now has regular legs, but I feel like that makes the design a lot weirder, and that's a good thing. It looks like you'd be able to connect the 15th anniversary stands to the Ninjago character display set, so that's neat. There's also an image of the Kai mech, and it feels perfect for what it is. It would definitely look great alongside Jay and Zane's mechs in this scale. Now it's nice that Kai has the mask piece, as you could make an almost complete dragon Kai, since his wings are the same color as the ones the Dragonians use, that armor piece you can get from any other set, and with that you are only missing the tail. I'd also say that it's great for Ninjago to be featured in Fortnite, as that shows how big this theme is, but other then that I don't care about this one bit.- 750 replies

LEGO Ninjago 2025 Rumours and Discussion
mantax replied to Classic_Spaceman's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
The Blacksmith shop is simply amazing. There is just so much attention to detail (like with the weapons being the same as in the old Kai and Nya spinners, or the hidden 2011 cards). It looks a bit small for the price, but I think the level of detail justifies it. The aniversary minifigures are the old elemental masters, and from the back of the box we know at least who 6/7 of them are . This set is definitely a must have for me. The minifigs list for The Old Town looks that great that I'm not sure if it's real. I remember seeing this leaker as the source of some other set leaks, I can't remember any of them, but I think he's reliable. Now with this set having 3 15th nniversary minifigs, then that means that there is only going to be 1 more set with an aniversary minifig in the summer wave. That makes it easier to collect them all, but that also means less aniversary sets(unless there could be some without aniversary minifigures).- 750 replies

LEGO Ninjago 2025 Rumours and Discussion
mantax replied to Classic_Spaceman's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
The life dargon(or Arc dragon of the whispering wood as it is called in that text on top) looks very odd to me. There's just too much different details going on there, especially the back legs being almost all gray and rock themed, while there is only little bits of that on the wings and tail. But we only have this image so far, so maybe with more angles of the build my opinion could change. Either way from this wave I'm most likely going to just get Jay's car and Cole's Mission mech. Which combined just like this set have 2 dragon ninja, 3 regular ninja, and the same 3 villains for like $20 cheaper. Sora is in her previous suit, but at least it's not 1:1, as now she has a half mask and a golden shoulder armor. Arin is all new, there isn't really a great look at him, so I can't really judge this design now. I only predict that this Arin would definitely be reused in the summer wave. It's probably going to be in the Riyu set and in one of the spinners.- 750 replies

LEGO Ninjago 2025 Rumours and Discussion
mantax replied to Classic_Spaceman's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
It's neat that the 2 sets that I was the most interested in got revealed first. There's some changes with the minifigures, one is great, while the other isn't. A loyalist is also included in the Cole mech, and in Jay's Car Nya isn't in her dargon suit. Jay's Car - For me this is the best looking Jay car that we got, although I didn't find the other ones too interesting, but this one indeed looks great. It does feel a bit overpriced, but it's not too bad. I think that the transformation feature is going to be like in Tormak's Shadow Blazer from Chima, so only the front part of the car rotates to have the dragon details from the bottom be on the top. Cole's mech - I don't see how it has more pieces then Jay's car. It looks to be the size of Kai's elemental mech, which for the same price and similar piece count also had a villain mech, but there isn't that much of a great look at it, so it could feel more like the price with better pictures. Other then that It does feel like a great representation of Cole's golem form. I love how many weapons it's got, especially the blaster, as you don't get much of this type of weapon from Ninjago. Zane's helicopter is weird, as we didn't know about it before. It might seem that it's in the vehicle battle at Treehouse, but that set now has bike in it's name. So I think that it's actually a new set, which is a lego store exclusive like Lloyd's elemental mech, and we also didn't know about that set until it got officially revealed. Also this would eat up at least 100 pieses(It might even be 200) that could have gone to the treehouse. Now the vehicle itself dosn't interest me at all. The ninja using the same torso and legs both in their regular and dragon versions, feels expected, as there are already so many new minifigure designs for this year. That's also nice as the dragon ninja are just upgraded versions of the regular suits, so you could only get the dragon ninja to have all the new ninja suits. I don't feel like Euphrasia needed a new suit, but that's still a welcome inclusion. Now this 2 sets combined feel like such a great value for only around $80. As there are all the originall ninja except Lloyd, plus all the new villains except that green one.- 750 replies

LEGO Ninjago 2025 Rumours and Discussion
mantax replied to Classic_Spaceman's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
It felt so long since we had new information for the 2026, but that might be because of how much we got for recent waves. Both the 15th anniversary sets sound way better then I could have ever expected, I think I'd want to get both of these. I'm only curious on what these anniversary figs are. Since they are just called Elemental masters of something, so they might even be the previous Elemental masters. Now the s4 set minifigure descriptions are just weird. We know that there are 3 Elemental Monsters(Purple snake, Earth, Tentacle), but here there are only 2. The Earth monster is there, and Snake has to be the Poison Monster. The Tentacle one could be in the 4 sets we don't have descriptions for, but images of it leaked along side the Loyalist, and these were from The Dragon of Life set wth dragon Cole and Lloyd. That set already has 8 minifigures for €100 so it couldn't have been just skipped. So either the Earth or Poison monster is actually the tentacle one, but these names don't fit that one, and are perfect for the other 2 leaked villains. All that illogical information just feels too confusing for me, and I'll just wait for some better explanation for the villain minifigures. It's great that at least 2 of the sets come with two dragon ninja, as that should make it easier to collect them all, but still it's at least €250 to get them all, plus we are getting the anniversary minifigures. So unless the magazines help with that, I only see myself trying to get at least one of them, and that's it. The Ninja Motorcycle Battle at treehouse on one hand is great, since it comes with Euphrasia, but It also comes with the 2 ninja that got new motorcycles recently.- 750 replies

The description sounds a bit too good to be true, with it being a 447 piece $45 set with 8 minifigures(which are most likely exclusive here). Also I'm not even sure who the original source of this information is. But this might also be real, as some of the set information for this year, also came from unusual places. What I do know is that the sets list with Garmadon's dark fortress is 100% fake.- 750 replies

It might seem weird that we are getting a remake of that set now. But next year it would be 7 years since that set released, and that is the same amount of time as Rise of the Snakes to Legacy. So that makes it's inclusion a lot more justified in my opinion. It's also going have over 400 more parts then the original(that also makes it the largest mech of all time), so that should make it feel like the UCS version of the original. I'm personally quite excited about this, as that set has to be the set that I regret not getting the most from this theme. Also there could be a new Akita minifigure here, and that's especially great as she is very expensive to get now.- 750 replies

Ongoing Transformers Rumors and Discussion
mantax replied to NoOneOfImportance's topic in LEGO Licensed
Soundwave so far Looks simply amazing, and he feels like the best Lego Transformer so far. You can literally say "Soundwave superior, Autobots inferior". It doesn't look like there is any parts forming, except the shoulder blaster and the weapons for Ravage and Laserbeak. Thats just like his G1 toy, so its completely fine. For me personally the best detail is how the chest opens by just pressing a button, it's simple but very effective. From the video so far the sound brick can play the G1 theme, as well as he can say his name(it cuts of, so I think it will be his iconic line). I would expect that there's more sounds, but if not then what's included is still really solid. Now I only hope he doesn't have parts that detach easly, since that was a big problem with Optimus. -

There are small descriptions for some of the 2026 sets, I've only seen it from Ridexninjagoleaks on instagram, so I'm not sure if they are real. But the leaked sets list had information on these exact sets, so they might be real. 71855 - Riyu has golden horns, and armor. includes Arin, Dragon Sora, Vine Monster. 71866 Anniversary display $50 378pcs - includes 4 displays for Kai, Cole, Jay, and Zane with their golden weapons. Golden Jay is included. 71858 Blacksmith shop $100 884pcs - minifigures: Zane, Cole, Jay, Kai, Nya and Wu, plus golden Kai (inspired by his original suit) 71851 Kai's mech battle pack $10 - The mech has wings, includes Kai, Tentacle Monster, and Sand villain. There's also a small red dragon included. It's great that not only the original ninja get dragon forms, and that makes the Riyu set more interesting to me, as this version of Sora will most likely be exclusive there. I'm not really a fan of the Anniversary minifigures being just Golden version of the ninja again, but that makes me question on how will they be done this time. It would be great if this time around they would have the same type of suits, and not each ninja getting a suit based on a different season. I also see it maybe being like before, but this time the suits will be based on seasons 1-7 The anniversary display sounds great with 5 minifigures(which I think will be exclusive) for $50, but it also has a price per part of a Marvel set.- 750 replies

We did also get a description for 71859, the dragon is nature themed with tree branches for horns, and leaves on the wings. Includes 8 minifigures: Dragon Cole, Lloyd, Green villain, Hooded villain, Purple Snake, Sora, Zane, and Arin. This is one of the better sounding sets lists in a while. It's great that they are continuing the $10 mech battle packs, and that we get another transforming vehicle. I'm the most interested in the Life Dragon so far(and that could easly change as it's the only one to have a description), since you get most of the new villains there, plus Sora and Arin for who I try to get every suit. Now there are definitely 2 versions of the Ninja in these sets, with the regular suits, and the special dragon versions. I expect all of the 6 original ninja to get them except Jay, but I'm not too sure about that, as he isn't called Rogue anymore in the set names. The anniversary sets also sound great. I don't really see just the Blacksmith shop being $90, so it would be really neat if we got one of the skull vehicles with it. 71861 The Old Town I think could be that J village(I don't know how to spell it) where the ninja first fought against the Hypnobrai.- 750 replies

The next magazine will include Storm suit Lloyd. Thanks to the march wave he is quite common now. But both of the march Dragons are on the more expensive side, and another Lloyd car or especially the 4+ I don't see being too interesting for most fans. So I'd say that overall this is a solid inclusion. I only find it weird that this is going to be the 5th s3 magazine, but we didn't get any villains yet.- 750 replies

LEGO Ninjago 2025 Rumours and Discussion
mantax replied to Classic_Spaceman's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Overall I'd say that this set wave is mostly great, but it still has some problems. The best set here for me is Lloyd's jet mech, as it might just be a perfect Ninjago set. There's just so much good things to be said about it: 1. It's got a transforming feature that changes the build quite a lot. 2. this is the first jet for Lloyd .3 the minifigures here are all great 4. the 2 side builds are much larger then I expected, and especially the dragon here is great. So this set is definitely a must have for me. I wasn't too sure on what to think about Rogue's mech dragon, but after seeing more images and the in-hand video I might be sold on it. The mech is the best part for me, as it's got plenty of neat accesories on the body that make it stand out in a good way(especially the cape which was a surprise, as it wasn't shown on the first leaked image) All the minifigures here are great, but only 4 seems too little for the price. I really wasn't a fan of Rontu from the first image, and my opinion on it hasn't changed after the official reveal. The combat vehicle looks great, even when all of the builds are seperated. But the price is just way too much, as well as the minifigures aren't too interesting, except Frak, but I bet he will be the exact same in the next wave. So it's a skip for me. I don't really have much to say about the smallest sets, but they are just fine. The Bounty is absolutely gorgeous, I love how much interior there is in it. But I just don't have the budget, or space for it. Also the number of minifigures here is low, and I only really care about half of them, So I'd pass on this. I don't care anout the Guardion dragon, which does look amazing, but that is really the only thing it does. But the Fire Knight mech on the other hand feels quite neat. It's got the standard poseability for a large Ninjago mech, so that's great. However even on that platform it's smaller then nearly all large Ninjago mechs. The piece of terrain included with it is really nice, as it also would be nice for displaying other minifigures or stuff. The only problem for me is the price, so I'd just wait for a fine deal for it, and then I'd definitelly get it, as it's a must have for me, and the only problem that I've got with it is the price- 750 replies

The trailer really got me excited on Legends, even more then how I usually get excited for new Ninjago content. Just because how fresh(and also great) this sounds. The dark black and white art style is the perfect option to make it have an uneasy and mysterious feel. What also helps is it being done in 2d and not the regular 3d animation. The story so far seems a lot more serious too, and it feels like there's so much that can be told there. Also the fact that it's called Ninjago Legends with Monstrosity as the tagline, might suggest that there will be more stories for legends that are unrelated to this storyline.- 750 replies

The next Legacy magazine will include Tournament Cole and Drix. Cole isn't really interesting here, as he comes in a polybag, and also he has the wrong half mask here. Drix on the other hand seems quite exciting, maybe not Drix himself as he is by far the easiest F5 member to get. But this could mean that we might get the other members in the leagacy magazine too. It's also nice that it's a full version of him, as the legacy magazine recently has been skipping all armor pieces.- 750 replies

Kai's Motorcycle feels perfect for it's price, and that makes it an offer that I just can't refuse. However the Kai motorcycle is very similar to the one in the Legacy X1 Ninja Charger, which I have, but still there's also the bike for the Dragonian, so it's still a must have no matter what. LEGO Ninjago 2025 Rumours and Discussion
mantax replied to Classic_Spaceman's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
All of the other 2nd parts of DR seasons also leaked early, but this is just feels like too much even for that. I absolutely loved the new episodes, but the fact that they leaked early just isn't great at all for the team behind the show. So with that it's best to just keep the episodes for yourself, and wait for the official reveal to post some thoughts on it. One thing that I can say is that this gave us our first look at Arin's mech, that's especially funny now, as we just got some images of this set(as well as the temple bounty and Lloyd's jet mech) reveald by some random retailer. Overall the mech looks great, I especially like the asymmetry with the arms(just like his minifigure). I also adore how it mirrors the Sora mech a bit, with the wings on the arms and Arin with hair and a half mask. The minifigures here aren't interesting to me at all. So while the mech here is neat, I'd rather save my money for some other sets. We've already seen images of the other 2 sets, so there isn't really too much to say about them. Except for Tyr, who from the leaks was said to have a unique design from the other dragonians, but except for the mask and armor(and both of these pieces apper in other sets) he is the same as the Dragonian featured in the Combat Vehicle and Kai's bike. The show might also gave us our first look at the $10 Kai bike. It wasn't Kai who drove it, but it features some actual lego parts on the sides. So with that the bike is going to be in the same style of build as for example the one in The Crocodile Car from Dreamzzz. and that size is perfect, as we are also said to get a bike for a Dragonian there too.- 750 replies

Now I have to say that the Mosa is actually better brick built then if it were moulded. As the way you can move it thanks to all the ball joints looks very natural and satisfying. A moulded one would've most likely looked much better, but the poseability is amazing here, and also it still does look good for what it is. This might have actually sold me on this set, especially as I was already a bit interested in it. There aren't really any other interesting new details from the reviews that weren't show by the images, except for most of the builds looking better in person, but that's what usually happens with new sets. Other interesting detail for me is the dinos coming in plastic bags insted of paper like they did since 2023, that's especially weird with all the other bags being paper. It isn't really a problem, but it's just very weird to me. -

I just saw the 10 episodes of s3, and while not perfect it was still such an amazing first part of a season. As someone who isn't really a fan of PIXAL, the plot with her and Zane might have been the best part here. Rapton being there also helped to make it even better. I was worried on what they would do with Morro's character, but his role in this part was done really well. The action scenes here were spectacular. There were plenty of unique battle scenes, and the final part was especially great. The Dynamic between Wyldfyre, Kai and Nya was just so much fun , they just complement each other really well. The same I can say about Ras and Arin. But there were still some problems with this season, first being one character that was gone for nearly all of this part. A big problem was with the Forbidden Five, as some members didn't get too much time to shine. One even did shine but in a wrong way, but for me personally that did make me like them more. Also this made the whole situation with Kur even more wild. I don't feel the need to write any spoilers here(also I just noticed that the hide spoilers feature is most likely gone), so with that I'd just say that I can't wait on what could happen in part 2.- 750 replies

LEGO Dreamzzz Ongoing Rumours and Discussion.
mantax replied to Agent Kallus's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I don't think these are for the 2HY, as there were some small descriptions for that wave, and none of the new minifigures match. Especially with Izzie, as she is said to only come in that canceled set, and in that one she's got her 1HY outfit. So I believe that these might be for 2026, as there were also some Ninjago minifigures from 2026 that were leaked before. It might feel too early for that, but I don't see any other option. All these new minifigures look great, just how the Dreamzzz minifigures usually are. the printed arms on who I think is Cooper are especially neat.
