  1. Looks very good for a frist MOC. I would suggest, if you have one, to use a blue base plate for the water under the fort. Also, something to attach the row boat to the dock might look good as well.
  2. Very impressive ship! I like how detailed you made the insides.
  3. Congrats on getting your ship in a museum, a newspapaer, and on a TV show! You did get a very reasonable compensation.
  4. I agree, that is a really clever technique and it seems to work very well.
  5. I really like this ship. What yrp of sials are you going to use?
  6. Great job on the MOC and the animation!
  7. The colors you areusing are fantastic! I can't wait to see more of this beautiful ship.
  8. Using the two different sized boats is very clever.
  9. Great find! I can see the minifigures are even building more buildings on this incredible island.
  10. I love the design! It's nice to see ships like this here.
  11. Thanks, I really like using that method to help build large forests with many tall tress. I agree, it is really simple, but looks really good. Thank you for the reply. I was inspired by the English forts I saw in the Caribbean to make this. Thanks, the West Indian Soldiers played a crucial part in the Colonial Bahamas since the British government had a large slave base there and even when they abolsihed the slave trade and the practice of slavery all together, many of the blacks on slave ships seized by the Royal Navy settled in the Bahamas since they were then free. Thank you and I'm glad you enjoyed! They have packed much food and supplies to last weeks and the cover of the forset can allow them to sneak back into town under enemy bombardment.
  12. Very impressive, especially the water part. Its very realistic.
  13. I agree, pictures of the inside would be nice. Fantastic creation!
  14. This looks incredible. I can't wait to see the sails.
  15. This looks incredible. I can't wait to see the sails.
  16. I really like it and its classic feel. Excellent work and I hope to see more ships like this in the future.
  17. Amazing find! Thanks for sharing.
  18. Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I made the platforms like that mainly becuase of space for what I could build on the side of the walls. I actually had it orginally shorter, but then had to make it longer as I noticed the problem.
  19. Thank you for the reply. I have wondered that myself and I came to the conclusion that during the building process they had a very strong crane mechanism.
  20. [pid][/pid] 207A Fort Nassau The Royal Navy has built a stronghold in the Bahamian Crown Colony. With the aura of war with the French in the West Indies, this base is being loaded with new recruits and weapons. The front of the fort. This is a picture I took while making it. I think it really shows a good view of the fort. The back of the fort. The fishermen. The beach. Aerial view. The palm forest and road. Living quarters. Entrance to the fort. A West Indian soldier keeps an eye on the gate. Closeup of soldier and statue. The supplies and a doctor are coming down the road. Who is that in the background? The inside of the fort. The men at the mess table. The storage of powder and food. Soldiers line up for a drill. The bottom of the gun floor is a stable. The man in charge of the stable and the prison cells. Inside the barracks. The gun floor. Full side. Officers discuss their plans. A guard asleep on duty and the water well. Ladder to the tower and flag. Top of the tower. Does anyone know what this resembles? A snapshot of the building process. I hope you enjoyed this creation and thanks for reading! There was a real Fort Nassau in the Bahamas, but it is since been destoryed. Fort Charlotte is the largest fort there today. This build was not really based off of the design, I just liked the name and wanted to put the fort in the Bahamas. When Public: The Gallery
  21. Can't wait until you finish all of these ships. That will be one impressive fleet.
  22. Nice job on the hut.
  23. I think this is looking good so far and it will turn out amazing.
  24. I hate it when that happens.
  25. Yeah, learning how to make those would be great! Awesome forts!
