  1. This is my French Lego Army. There is a total of 40 soldiers, three Mameluke Cavalry, three marshals, one , one servant, and six horses. The torso is from Bonaparte's figure. His army along with the many others on here were inspirations when organizing this one. I hope you enjoy my collection! Napoleon confronts his marshals. His marshals are looking fine. The left one is Ney. The soldiers are in a regiment and ready to take orders from high command. A view of the formation. The prize from the Egyptian Campaign: The Mameluke Cavalry. The Emperor's trusty servant from Egypt also. The Emperor's favorite faction. The army is ready to march to Russia. Let's hope the British Army doesn't fight in Spain, or the Empire may have trouble. 2. Welcome!
  3. Hello Kevin! Welcome to Eurobricks!
  4. Welcome! I'm new too and I think that this website has a lot to offer!
  5. Hi! My username is Hiawatha. I chose this name because it was my cat's, who was named after the train, which was named after the Native American. The sigfig is based on an American Officer from the Napoleonic Wars. I may be new as a memeber, but I am not to the site. I have visited this site for quite sometime and finally jonied. The work of some of the mebers and layout of forums are familiar to me. My main interest in Lego is in Pirates (Soldiers and Islanders too), but I also enjoy the Adeventure sets and Orient Expedition, Castle, Star Wars, and Harry Potter. My favorite lego piece is either the classic Shako or the whit Onion Dome piece. I live in the United States in Pennsylvania. I enjoy traveling, and have been around the US and have visted the United Kingdom, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Canada, and the Bahamas. I know a lot of the members are from around the world and I look forward to meeting you. I originally got in to Lego by seeing a Taj Mahal built out of Lego in 2006 online. This inspired me to build my own and continue to build since. (The Taj has been taken apart since then, but I will try in the future to put it back together). Thanks!
  6. I think it has a classic feel since you used the classic figs and the island baseplate piece.
  7. Welcome to the world of Lego Pirates! This is a really nice little creation
  8. I like your custom carronades. They go well with the ship. The poop deck was also very well done.
  9. I agree also that this looks like it could be an actual set.
  10. This is very good. Perhaps you can build a few other micro buildings from London.
  11. Sorry about the picture size. Thank you for sending me a link Bonaparte (thanks for the decal also) and removing the deep linksfor me Big Cam. I was just going to add a few more grey heads if I ever aquire more. The structure portion is completely finished. I'm glad you enjoyed it

Thanks, I'll have to look for some!
  13. I was inspired to build this after seeing it last year in person. This building was menat to honor the glory of the French Empire. It was started in 1806 after Austerlitz and was completed in 1836. This is my first post and I hope you enjoy! The front of the building. Top. Notice the bust. The Departure of the Volunteers in 1792. The use of gray minifigs was based off of another version I have seen online. As you can tell it isn't finished (Some statues have no heads). The one next to it is half way there and the other two haven't been started yet. Inside the Arc. In the middle there is an Imperial Eagle I noticed when I went there. The names of the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Battles and Officers are on the walls. I reconigzed some like Ney, Murat etc. Construction. Although it was started in 1806,it wasn't done till thirty years later. I made this scene of Napoleon inspecting the building, it may not have been that completed when he was alive, but I wanted to give a picture of the Emperor watching the building. Men working on the engravings. I used a checker-like design for the pictures. They are working on the Battle of Aboukir. Napoleon and architect Jean Charlgrin. Here is the folder: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=484053 Thanks for reading! I hope I set this up right, if not please tell me, thanks!

This is a very nice MOC. I really like that you added the dog on the leash. Where exactly do the Bearskinned Guards come from? Are they custom or did lego make them? I saw you also had them on another post.
