Well i see on the pictures, that the new rim designs spokes are apparently half stud thick, that the molded bolt design makes the axle hole 1 stud deep. Othervice it would be only half stud. Maybe this interesting solution and design, was neseccary to make the steering work perfectly. Like with the 5 spoke design on the mustang:).

Well, since the topic free vs paid instructions is really kind of hot topic. I wanted to share my own experience and my moc design values, and a little Q&A:). Well firstly, many peoples might question that, why i don't charge for my instructions. And fly to sunset with that money. Well, i don't like personally ask anything for my instructions. And i really want everyone to enjoy my builds. So i have made clear decision that my instructions will be always free, and i pour all of my efforts to making the best free instructions possible:). And, i like to be really humble person, and i don't like to flex with money. So my instructions will be always free. So have a really fun and great time building my mocs. And i like to hear you feedback about my mocs:). And here is value section. And basically every my made moc, will follow these value guidelines:). 1, my models have to be really fun to play with. 2, my models have to be really strongly build. So kids can play with them. 3, every moc will have some cool functions. 4, instructions have to be free so everyone can enjoy my mocs. 5, and, lissening feedback about my previous mocs. And fixing those issues in future mocs:). So, hopefully you will have a great time building my mocs. And if you have issues or something to say about my mocs. Please share you feedback, it really helps me to improve my building skills next time:). Ps, i have again purchased old sets for pieces. And i have some cool ideas, to what to do with them. Here is a little behind the scenes sneak peak, of my process to making a 3d model. And yes, i do destroy the model to make 3d model. And after the 3d model and building steps are done. I will put back together the physical build:).

Well, i tooked couple days off from building. And now i returned. And since i want to give best playing experience, i decided to add couple wheels on the mini model. Now the mini models tracks roll on all surfaces, and now the tracks move a little electric motor replica:).

Good morning, today i will start making premium free instructions for the mini model. I yesterday completed the undercarriage instructions, and the instructions version will have rubber inserts for the tracks, for better playing experience:).

And, since every electric construction machine(like 42209 and 42175) needs a portable battery charging station, the mini model is no exception. The mini model has a portable battery charging station. Thought a little bit more advanced, since it include inline 3 engine generator to charge the battery pack. Plus the battery sells are removable. The 42175 battery was just a sticker. The minimodel includes a brick build adaption of battery cells:).

Ok, why there is no warning, like with crossblock pieces, to not insert it wrong way🤔

Here is a test video for the mini model dump bed operation:). And, in case you are wondering, yes the mini model has the same bogie design as the big brother. Only the minimodel one is smaller, and without motor connection:).

Well, the 42070 costed 270€ for 1800pcs, but had rc system. And 42114 costed about 250€ with the almost same piece count as this. But the 42114 was fully motorized with cool gearbox. And its weird how this is 330€. Because if we compare this to 42114, this seems bad value for money. And because this is overpriced it makes this even worse. And i think this would sell like hot cakes with 250€ price. And with 12+ box design with cool art work, wich would appeal to kids. And i don't hate 42215, i think its pretty good, and the bucket attachement system is pretty unique. But my only issue is. This cost 330€ and used 42114 only about 200€. And i would happily pick up the 42114. Because it introduced the cool motorized speed gearbox. Plus other thing, so its sad that this doesn't include any interesting new things. Only the basic stuff, while costing a lot more. And i really wish that this would include those rubber inserts for the tracks, because they don't move on smooth surfaces. So conclusion the 42215 is a great model with interesting functions. But in mechanical side this is pretty poor compared to 42114, even thought this cost more than the 42114.

So, here are the final functions. Big brother, Motorized independently operated tracks, Motorized superstructure rotation, Motorized dump bed operation, Opening doors and frunk. And working inline 4 engine. Little brother, Crank operated superstructure rotation, Crank operated dump bed functions, Dump bed raises slowly. And lowers faster, Dump functions work only one way. And there is a block mechanism, wich stops accidental backwards operations. Opening doors and frunk, Non working electric motor and battery detail:).

Well, sorry. But i would not complain if this wasn't so overpriced. Because this set has almost the same piece count as 42145. But 42145 costed less and included also a gearbox:). Ps and yes, i think this should been 250€, then i would not complain. Because then this makes more sense. Little bit more expensive than 42145, but the price is justified with more pieces and new bucket:).

Well, now the mini model has mudguards:). And now the minimodel is done:).

This looks like a really fun project:).

All right i wrap up today. And now the cab is done, now only i have to build mudguards, and then the mini model is done. And then i have to make premium free instructions for the mini model:). And, i have designed both of these unique. So if you don't have space for big one. And choosed the mini version, you don't miss anything exept power functions. And the complexity is about the same, and both have unique functions. The big one has motorized tracks and power functions, while the mini one has unique dump bed functions:).

And, i wanted to give the mini model something cool, instead of the power functions. So the different speed bed function with stop/block feature was born. And im really proud how it turned out. It works so well, without any noticeble backlash:).
