Progress for the mini model. And since the 42209 is electric. The mini model will be also electric, i have build a little battery and electric motor for the mini model:).

Well, i today got one of my childhood most wanted sets. And im soo happy to finally own one:). Ps... And yes im a huge nerd for wind turbines. And i really badly want to get the vestas:).

Well, i cannot believe, how well my first attempt to make one way rotation function works. It works so smoothly. And perfectly, im now really impressed and happy:).

Well, after some tinkering, now the mini model height matches with the 42209:).

Well, i have a little secret. Now that the 42209 is out, there is no dumper for that scale. So i had this idea brewing in my head, to make smaller Tracked Outback Dumper. For the 42209. And the mini version will have a totally different function set to bigger brother. The mini version uses 2 different speeds for dumping function, and has a block function. For making the different speeds possible, so unloading works slowly, and loading works faster. And this works only one way thanks to the block function. So no acciental backwards rotations:).

Yeah, i don't see any difference, because the charcing port pin connector is a notoriously difficult to remove anyway.

Well, i tested the angled theory. And i have to say, its not mean't to be angled. Because there is a click feeling. And these panels are not rounded on bottom, so i think this is illegal connection. And the angled version will stress the 11L beam.

Yeah maybe. But its interesting, why there is a clear place for a 4L axle with stop.

Ok, i did build the 42209, its a great build. BUT, there is an interesting cost cutting thing. So, this rear panel is only connected on blue pins on side. And its pretty loose. BUT, here comes the interesting part. There is an easy way to connect it. And its so obvious, that i think this was a deliberate cost cutting measure.

Its cool to see lego volvo buckets evolution. The first bucket had these grooves printed on a sticker. While the newer one has them molded on:).

well, i had to check. And yes, while this has almost same piece count as 42056(tracked outback dumper 2623pcs,42056 2704pcs). This has a lot more pages, 42056 580 pages, my model 906 pages. Building steps 42056, 856, my model 864:). So hopefully this will be an easy build for unexperiensed buillders:).
