I wish we got more location stuff tbh, 10 year old me would love playing with a Batmobile and Batcave and stopping the criminals in Arkham, has this new generation changed so much that sets like that aren't fun for them ? Location sets sell well with kids depending on the play features IMO, stuff like a car, lots of figures and play features like exploding walls and trap doors, a story is a big part of it too but that's just how I thought when I was a kid, these days it's all about Ipads and gaming sadly But hey, I have no clue what's popular with people younger than me, I'm 20, I'm basically an Unc at this stage lol Hopefully this Monster Truck,Mech phase will end soon, normal playsets were sets all ages could enjoy, that's what made older lego sets great, now it's so specific But it'll be a new gimmick soon enough, maybe Ninjago Spinners for Marvel or pull back go karts, maybe even space themed superhero ships

I get what you mean but, you gotta look at it from the view of WB, it's all about money, viewership and sales is a big factor, you need something that will get the attention of many to make a good profit, right now, Superman is the last hope for DC, if that succeeds, the DCU will, If it fails then say goodbye to everyone besides Batman (Which I wouldn't be sad about, I love Batman but it would be a shame) If Superman fails then Gunn will be given the boot by Zaslav and maybe Zack will be brought back or Matt Reeves will be Plan B I worry that Superman will make only 500M$, and that will be considered a failure to WB, The DC fandom is split and the casual audience is getting sick of Superhero films, we'll get a Deadpool and Wolverine type hit now and again but I think the connected universe type stuff is coming to an end like Westerns did, it remains to be seen what the next trend will be if Superheroes dies out But I don't fully believe in Superhero fatigue, I think it's just bad writing/character assassination fatigue I think only Spider-Man 4,Fantastic 4, Doomsday,Secret Wars and The Batman 2 will be the last hits of the genre A few years ago it seemed like Marvel would never fail but now, it has become a reality, I feel like DC might become the new MCU type success and take the crown from MCU if Superman succeeds big But hey, superhero films are in a much better spot than Star Wars, that brand is a dead body being poked with a stick Would be nice to see DC win for once besides Batman, I'd love something like the JL animated series or New 52 animated movies

We've been lied to before, Superman hasn't come out yet and you're making Gunn out to be this saving grace for DC, we don't know what goes on behind closed doors I hope Superman does well and that Gunn will save DC but I don't think it's wrong to be concerned about a possibility Henry said he was returning and then he wasn't, things just change like that, you can't believe everything I meant that besides Superman and Batman, Wonder Woman should get a movie, not a prequel show, I just think it's odd to start it with Creature Commandos,Waller and Peacemaker, that'd be like starting the MCU with Morbius,Agatha,Echo and El Muerto

I feel like Gunn will focus on more niche characters instead of the big three, he seems to only do his own things instead of what the fans want, he erased everything except for his stuff (Peacemaker) that should say something, Logically the DCU should be these movies to start it off , Superman,Batman,Wonder Woman,Flash,Green Lantern, Justice League Not these weird characters like Sgt Rock or Creature Commandos, like wtf, not a good business move if you ask me, would make more sense to start with the popular guys first then the niche stuff I miss Ben Affleck Batman and Henry Cavill's Superman, But hey, I love Battinson so he's around (FOR NOW) I don't trust Gunn, he might delay it on purpose so Superman can shine, he might also want to delay it so Matt might give up and leave the project or try and push Battinson in the DCU If Superman is good then I will trust Gunn
