Just bumping the above - wanted to mention that if availability is a concern, then we'd be able to work with your representative's preferences to ensure they get a game which suits their availability/schedule sometime over the next two months! -

Hey there, just checking in again on you all - glad to see mafia is still running intermittently here! With season 12 of the mafia championship around the corner, it would be very hype to see Eurobricks finally represented in the event!!! Here's the full invite with details: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1DmX6tCX54j_GfaJaC49J-ggYlljerFsvAhkoRWx2v8s/edit?usp=sharing Understandably I know your games tend towards being more casual/chill - you're welcome to join just for the experience of playing with other people from all sorts of communities!! Many are also mafia communities tucked away in larger unrelated-to-mafia niche sites such as football forums, video game forums, Pokemon forums, hockey, and loads of others - a lot of forums out there with a mafia subcommunity hidden away as part of them, and this is a fun opportunity to meet them and maybe even invite them back here to play some games - I know of at least a few Lego enthusiasts that also play mafia from other communities!! Anyways, if you're interested feel free to put your name forward - our deadline for choosing a representative is April 19th, though I generally suggest deciding a little earlier if possible in case they want to play a practice game or an earlier qualifier game!!! Feel free to hit me up if you have any questions about anything!! I can also be reached on Discord as arapocalypse there as well!!! -

Hey there! It's been a while, but it's that time of the year again - season 11 of the mafia championship will be starting soon!! With 120 communities planned to participate this season, it would be very hype to see Eurobricks represented! It's a great opportunity for people from all sorts of communities to come together to hang out, chat, and play/spectate fun games!! Here is this year's full invite with more details: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Gi9t5baFa-DTjtB_d0ntrVzsrZU4SVm3OiSg4iWT21E/edit?usp=sharing If you're interested, feel free to volunteer yourself or nominate fellow community members, or something else! However you want to decide on a representative is up to you! Your representative will get scheduled into a game that works for them - we've got start dates for games from end of April to mid-June that range from fast 12/12s to more leisurely 72/24s, so there's something for everyone! I hope it's okay that I post this here, as Thingyman's taken a step back over the years! That being said, I'm happy to help answer any questions you may have about the event!! -
Oof yeah, I'd imagine it would need some very specific planning to put down... the intricacies make for a very cool look, at least!!!

Amazing project, it's easy to see how much passion you have for this, with so much attention to detail! Also very cool to see how the author has supported you on this! I had no prior knowledge of the source material, but I'll have to check it out now... Looking forward to future updates!

Looks like a fun rebuild, R2 getting a makeover! I think your third picture has an issue though, brick not found? -
Neat build, those leaves must have been fun to put together!

Not surprising that Barracuda Bay is running away with the vote, it's definitely got the most piratest vibes out of all of them!

A webserial called Claw which just started a few weeks ago! The blurb on its About page makes for a fairly intriguing pitch, so pasting it here: "Joshua Munce, Sheila Hardy, Dan Whitely, Max Highland, Tonya Keifer, Marvin Su… this pair has many names, but those names aren’t their own; they’re names to sell. In a rigged and crumbling system, the only way to get ahead is to circumvent the rules, but that comes with its own risks. Police, investigations, prison. There are other ways, more insulated, which are to play assist to help those people. Helping them to disappear, cleaning up messes, escrow services for the handling of good, payment, or guests. Always keeping it professional, keeping things insulated, with layers of distance. When others panic, with too many variables to consider in the heat of the moment, they can do the thinking. Who would suspect this mom and dad with two kids?" It is updated twice a week, and with only 6 chapters written so far, now's a really good time to jump into it! The most recent chapter was posted less than a day ago and culminated in a mindblowing moment that builds upon and re-contextualizes so much subtle foreshadowing created in just the first few chapters; I know I'll be thinking about this one for weeks to come!! If you're interested, I'd recommend reading up until at least the 6th chapter, since if you're not hooked by this point then it's probably not for you!! What was the last movie you watched?
Arapocalypse replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Dune Part 2 - really excellent sequel! Having read the book, I did enjoy many of the changes they made through adapting it; the increased focus on Chani and her perspective of Paul's journey was rather refreshing to see!! Looking forward to the next installment of Dune: Messiah!
