Wow, all of these sound promising. Some definitely more than others, but I think I'm finally gonna make a space layout this year (once I clear some... space). I really hope they went with an idea similar to what Robert8 said for Orion, big Algalon vibes from WoW. I have no doubt there's gonna be a new classic space colour hidden here somewhere, I would love either light blue, pearl gold or a new way to get black. Really hoping the alien tourist has a Hawaiian shirt. Half the roster is non-human!!! I'd really like if the aliens all looked different (still need to get my hands on some of the parts from the Space Police 3 aliens). Space penguin I don't even mind that these are in boxes because I've got a feeling that duplicates will still be appreciated. Hoping this is a success and they do one for castle next year!

I am a mystical omniscient being from the future and I am telling you right now any sets will be based on the new Lego game on Fortnite, not the existing BR characters -

Like I said, sets featuring characters, locations or other things from Fortnite Battle Royale are not confirmed or even likely to even happen in my opinion. The llama is promotion for the new Lego x Fortnite game and I think the Brickheadz will be based on that game too. -
LEGO Sci-Fi Ongoing - Rumors, Speculation, and Discussion

So far we've seen images from two of the city space sets: 60431 Space Rover with Aliens 60433 Modular Space Station No images of these yet: 30663 Space Hoverbike 60428 Space Mech 60429 Space Asteroid Recovery 60430 Spaceship 60434 Space Base with Launch Pad Mechs, hoverbikes and green aliens are much closer to sci-fi than city has ever gone before. I really think this is closer to a new space theme than more of the same city space stuff. 60433 appears to feature the module connectors so it still interfaces with the most recent city space wave. Can't wait to see the space suits. -

I genuinely believe Lego is not going to sell sets based on Fortnite Battle Royale. Sure, the partnership is happening but I think it's wildly different to what people are expecting. "Lego x Fortnite" will be an original Lego game, using inhouse Lego characters (and customisable player minifigures), with gameplay totally unrelated to Fortnite BR. As cool as sets would be, it's clear that Fortnite's guns and bullets, as cartoonish as they are, do not fit with Lego's brand and they have no intention of trying to sell any sets. Any sets that do come out will be based on these original characters, whether new or from Lego's back catalog. So yeah, don't expect Lego Jonesy/Midas/Battle Bus/Tilted towers. What we might get instead is sounding pretty special though. -

Leaks surrounding the Lego "mode" in Fortnite make it sound really big, closer to an actual game than a gamemode. Lego has just tweeted a pic of the llama so we're getting more news really soon. -
US price is $40. I love the space branding but I'm biased. I'm feeling really good about this, probably the closest we will ever get to a new space theme for a while. Really excited to see the new suits and aliens up close. So far we've seen two of the city space sets: 60431 Space Rover with Aliens 60433 Modular Space Station No images of these yet: 30663 Space Hoverbike 60428 Space Mech 60429 Space Asteroid Recovery 60430 Spaceship 60434 Space Base with Launch Pad

Just seen the box for 60431 - "Space Explorer Rover and Alien Life". It might just be a city subtheme, but space is coming back big time next year. New aliens, coloured spacesuits, sci-fi vehicles. We are so back. -

New "Mini Disney Castle" rumoured for January. Here's a few things I think it could be, ranked most to least likely (and least to most exciting): An updated version of the 2021 set without the 50th branding, any changes would probably be minor as the WDW castle is keeping the 50th colour scheme. Sleeping Beauty's castle from Disneyland. This would go with the mini Haunted Mansion we got, as that's the Disneyland version. A non-park castle, like the Beast's from Beauty and the Beast. We could finally get minifig Belle and Beast. Hoping for the latter, but not getting my hopes up. Can't complain since this theme has been on a roll this year. -
I think the two heads could either be: Yellow head with smiley face print + yellow head with modern face print Yellow head with modern face print + unusual head colour with alien face print The classic faces would help it gel better for people who want to display it with 10497 and the modern ones are more in line with the el dorado remake. I like the idea of the human factions having aliens in their ranks and the blacktron bounty hunter CMF had a blue face underneath the helmet.

I'm happy if they're doing pretty much any new Nintendo IP. Animal Crossing has more than enough characters for a CMF series too, and it's definitely popular enough. -
Conspiracy time. This is actually a soft reboot of inhouse space themes to test the waters for a true return. This sounds way more sci-fi than the science-y sets we got a couple years ago. Mechs and aliens!!!

An entire space series sounds cool, but unfortunately too good to be true. If it's just a codename it could be literally any theme. Doesn't have to be space related. Star Wars is unlikely and as much as I'd love some Lego Futurama, it's nowhere near popular enough to warrant a CMF series. (An Ideas set with the main cast would fit Futurama so much better.) I don't think it's going to be another series for an existing CMF theme either. My bets are on it being another property entirely new to Lego, like Muppets last year.

This set sounded really confusing from the rumoured description but it's actually very pretty. I don't love the idea of having popular characters exclusively in pretty pricey sets but it's so nice to get some more of the classics. Beautiful set imo, will end up getting it at some point later in the year. -

I was really hoping for an updated Happy in the tower, the other one looks nothing like Favreau. Wishful thinking the leaker mistook him for Wong because he had the short curly hairpiece? Bit weird that Wong would be here otherwise. I just hope it looks good for that price. -
I expected them to stray further from the original design, but this is still a day one buy for me. Love the added imperial ship, this is gonna look great displayed with PoBB.

There's no way these sets wouldn't just print money right? Spider-man is already clearly a bestseller for Lego and the movie has just given us a ton of characters with unique designs and personalities that people already love. I know we got a ton of Miles and Gwen in sets since the first movie released but I think minifigs with the designs from the movie would just sell like hot cakes. No clue about the logistics so this is literally just wishful thinking, but imagine a CMF series!!! The movie was awesome btw, if anyone's on the fence, go watch it. -

The shield seems to be another set that appeals to fans of Marvel, not AFOLs. It's a pretty cool display thing and that's that. Yes, you can probably get a more realistic piece for a similar price but it has the novelty factor of being made out of Lego. I wouldn't buy it, as expensive object sets aren't really my thing, but there's definitely a market for it. -
