Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion
DJ Bricks replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
I would gues Mark II is in the Sea Port Set, and the Iron Patriot is in Iron Man vs. The Mandarin( sound like the final showdown). You know keep the more wanted figures in the more expensive sets, and keep a variation in a less costing set . Lego's standard collecting thing. And I can't take a picture, and I don't have the part needed, I just held the gun where it would need to be on Iron Man. The parts needed are the standard neck holder, a 1x1 clip( the one on top, not side, and ADU gun. -

I tried to make War Machines gun with the ADU gun, and if you turn it on its side, it looks exactly like his gun!!! I'm positive now they will use the ADU gun. -

I agree, but maybe it can fold in. The ADU is very accurate to the two suits. And the Lego version is very accurate to the Mark II suit. -

There's 95% chance it will be the ADU gun, seeing that every other gun in the theme is that. The ADU looks like his gun and is small enough to be on him, without looking dumb or bulky. -

Yeah, you're right about that!!!! They are abusing the hell out of that piece. I read the Iron Man 3 prelude part 1 and seen the Iron Patriot pics, and my opinion is the ADU gun is perfect for both. -

The hip and boot printing will be used on Iron Man, I'm sure. I highly doubt they would release a War Machine without his big shoulder gun, it's very iconic and unique to the character. ( Though the 10 rings are iconic to The Mandarin, but they might not include the 10 rings) For the gun, I suspect the standard neck connecter, the flat 1x1 clip, and the overused ADU gun (it's comic bookish looking and looks like his gun. -

That's his Mark 2 suit from the prelude comic. Tony takes away th War Machine armor and strips of all the Hammer tech off as he views it as an insult to his creation. He gives it back saying the world needs a second Iron Man for when he's not around and he trusts Rhodey with it. He also asks why Rhodey why he call it War Machine, as he meant as an insult. Still has the shoulder gun on it and weapons but their Starks not Hammers. The seller probably didn't know about the shoulder gun. Still looks great though. I hope we get the Iron Patriot suit. I guess the gun will probbaly be the ADU gun they've been overusing and I think mark 2 Will be in the Extremis set and Iron Patriot will be in the Iron Man vs. The Mandarin. -

REVIEW: 76001 The Bat vs Bane: Tumbler Chase
DJ Bricks replied to PhillipJFry's topic in LEGO Licensed
I have the set, it's awesome in real life, pictures don't do it enough justice. I suggest you buy it, worth every penny it is. Kids don't like it, I was at my Local Target and kids wouldn't even acknowledge the set, even when their parent pointed it out, kids replied they didn't know what '' The Dark Knight Rises'' was. Guess it was a bad idea to make this set appeal to kids. So mine had two full rows of this set, and all the others were sold out. It's still a good set though, -

Well see as there's four villains in the movie. I predict Firepower and Aldrich Killian(he did create Extremis, so this is the only set he could come in) maybe Maya Hansen, in the Extremis set. Eric Savin in the Malibu Mansion set. And The Mandarin in the Ultimate battle set( with all ten rings, please!!!!!! Even if the not magical, still include them!!!) -

Instantly, sucks, that's why I buy the sets, some of the figures cost more than the sets they come in cost. -

A mistake indeed, like 76008 Iron Man vs. The Mandarin: Ultimate Battle is listed as 76008 Iron Man vs. The Mandarin: Ultimate. Ultimate what? Cupcakes? Vehicle? Pageant? I wanna know!!!? :) -

Stan Lee would be good, otherwise it could be a variant of a minifi we already have. Galactus, I think they would save for a F4 set, with the FF in the Fantasticar fighting Galactus ( maybe in his ship) and the Silver Surfer. Plus I think Galactus would be built Hero Factory/ Ultrabuild style, like Sauron. -
Or wait two weeks for the London Toy Fair. Even though no pictures, some descriptions will be fine until February.

I just built four sets and here my thoughts Arctic Batman- great Batboat, love the bombs and no flick fire missiles! Ice prison is nice too, though annoying that Aquaman can't really fit in it when he has his trident. All three minifigs are awesome, Arctic Bats is great, Aquaman is nice( I'm in the group that likes him as a respectable hero), and Mr. Freeze, gun is cool, and his face has grown on me. TDKR- the set is awesome , all the hate towards it washed away when I built. The Tumbler is size accurate and cool, the blue on the Bat is amazing makes it look high tech. All three are great and accurate. Really like that they took a dark not kid friendly movie and make a kid friendly, comic book spin set. Though at my Target all three of the other sets were sold out but they had plenty of this set, guess kids don't want sets inspired by a movie they can't even sit though( its 3 hours long!!!!) Both Marvel sets are awesome and must gets. For Fury, Venom, Doom, Jameson, Nova, and Beetle are all accurate and awesome. The Bugle is nicely done and the comic references are nice. The Spider-Cycle is accurate and well designed. Fury's car is as badass as he is, end of story. Interestingly, the tumbler, Fury's car and the Doomjet are all the same size. -

The scale is accurate to a person and thus accurate to a minifig scale. The coloring, Bane prototype mask decals, and back wheels are minor problems for me, the general shape is there. Did you help blow it up or something like that? I didn't like the film for the following reasons, the plot holes, The Bat( the thing was cool kinda), the happy ending( Batman would die for his city, not live in Italy with Catwoman), the horrible portrayle of Talia, Bane's backstory needed to be fleshed out. I like parts of the film others not so much. -

I think they tried to make a dark gritty realistic movie into a comic bookish type set to appeal to kids, and for me it works. It's a mediocre set for a mediocre movie( cue Nolan fanboys ripping me apart for that comment) I will get it as I am a complete and have to have everything type of collecter. -
Well, there's the Justice Leauge movie in 2015 and it's supposed to have Bats, Supes, WW, Aquaman( with a big role), Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern and The Flash. With Darksied as the villain. I would like comic versions of Flash, GL, and MM before the movie ones( Lego will make sets on the movie, WB will make them I bet for marketing, like the '' Man of Steel'' sets.

Anyone find it odd that the Crocs have tails in the show, but not in the sets? Even when they have a similar mold, thanks to the Lizard Guy from CMF? I just want them for a future Killer Croc and The Lizard minifigures, also the Gorilla for Gorilla Grodd and the rhino for Rhino, depends on the Ultimate Spider-Man figure.

Well, the numbering on the prison is accurate to real life(I haven't been to prison, I swear). What sucks is the white on the torso hasn't had enough goes through the paint to show up all white. Sucks. -
Just Got 76001 The Bat vs. Bane Tumbler Chase

Lobot of Star Wars got the 360 printing treatment, so I don't know why Bane or Fury didn't get the same treatment. Bane probbaly would have looked better with a moulded mask. -
