I went to my local TRU store and they had some Friends Stephanie promo pollybags. I bought 2 for 2.99 came with just a minifig of Stephanie that I can tell I haven't actually opened it. I cant find this any where on the net. I admit I am not the best at locating these since they are so new. They have no LEGO ID number or anything like that but all the markings that make it a legit LEGO. Has anyone seen them? If anyone wants some, they had tones. I will pick up some more. I just thought they were weird since I have never seen them. I know there is some controversy over these sets but I have a 9 year old girl who LOVES them so I have bought most of the smaller ones.

Going on a trip to San Fran for my job. I will be there with my gf for a week and we know no one there. We will be there from the 23 to the 31 of January. If your interested in hanging out getting some food or maybe know the great places to hunt for bricks, I would love to meet someone with like interests. If you have a gf or spouse that puts up with your weird obsession with bricks then my gf would like to hang out with her. We are in our late 20s into punk rockabilly heavily tattooed and LEGO/starwars/music/book/history nerds. My gf plans on going to a museum a day if she can but also wants to hit up some historic and tourist type places. Any places I should warn her about? Will she be sold into slavery in China town or something? Any info would be awesome. I am going to try and hit up the LEGO store that is close to san fran so if all fails a shopping buddy would be cool. Also if your into body modification I could hook you up with a free piercing since thats why I will be there.

This is about non LEGO as it comes. I am a pirate in many forms of the definition and I support in full the sharing of information and art in any form. I had noticed that flaw as well. Even my gf's dad an electrical engineer retired thought this was cool and agreed with some of the ideas behind it. I give him a lot of credence since he got me through math 108. lol!

My gf is a sorta a fan. I think she is more a fan of me and thinks my nerdy-ness is cute. she did buy digon ally on her own, so she does like some sets.

I dont resale really but I do trade. I like getting pollybags and noticed the jumped in price once they became hard to find. So I picked up some here and there and found I could trade them to other easily. I am happy people do it or I would have never gotten my favorite set 7166 imperial shuttle. that set was out during my dark ages and now I have one, thanks to bricklink.

since I came out of my darkages during 2011 I spent a lot in my opinion. I am looking at around 500$ us dollars on bricklink and another 2,000$ between TRU and lego.com

I store mine in a big Tupperware box thing. its slowly getting to small. I have another one that a store little box sets in. I find I have to store them away due to the fact I have a 6 yearold boy with poor impulse control. I came home one day and he was on his 4th bag lol!

The hard to find factor is why I am so into collecting them. I love the search. Finding sets is easy most places have tons but pollybags are like the snipe hunt of Lego. Also everyone I have I bought two of or more of each bag. So I am not losing out on the bag. Those target practice suckers came out at target store and a bought 20 of them. I opened some traded the rest or tried to. Great army builders and also what I have learned from people have traded with is quiet popular.

I do need more kingdoms ones. I missed out on 30061 I think it's the one thats only released in Europe (or at least I have never seen it here in the states). I have tried the bag building thing. It was interesting to work within those confines. I thought this would have been a more popular thread. I know I have seen many people looking for pollybags but I guess I the weird one that doesn't just open them but saves them.

I don't know and I searched to see if a polybag collector thread has been started. So this is me starting one to show off my polybag collection unopened sealed sets. I love building sets, but I noticed how the smaller sets like polybags got gobbled up quickly by soccer moms looking to get out of the Lego isle cheaply and quickly, or major collectors like myself, so I started saving them up and not opening them. Now I am buying them online at places like bricklink and eBay, and have also traded with some people on here. I think I have, at least in my eyes, a good collection so far. I think its weird they used the same speeder bike from 7956 set not Endor. I have so many different speeder bike variants. I already have 5 rebel commandos from Endor need 12 to complete the Endor landing party so its lame they dont have backpacks and different hands. Plus side is they have a new face sorta. I will end up buying like 4 of these, the stormtroopers and scouts along with the commandos are worth it even though they changed the printing again. Its sad I am not more thrilled about this set. the rebels seem to have nothing going for them like tank or vehicle wise when they keep to the movies. I would really like to see another battle pack like they had a couple of years ago with the storm trooper and rebel scout vehicles packs. Rebels got no fire power! Thanks for the review.

the short answer... YES! The long answer. The reality is they have sold well in the SW theme so I dont see why they would notdo battle pack/army builder style sets. TLG also did one for the new alien invasion, POTC and adventure line.
