  1. Definitely got Carribbean vibes. As mentioned the tree builds seem very useful.
  2. This is beautiful. Reminds me of the old catalogues. I'd love to see more images and angles of the ships for inspiration though.
  3. I e filled out the survey and ticked a few boxes for things I not quite sold on, including other, with other being that the capstan is non functional and there's no way of raising and lowering the anchors.
  4. Great stuff. Love it. Keep up the great work, I look forward to seeing more of your stuff.
  5. I love the PotC films and I think the Black Pearl is cool. But if I were to choose between the two I’d prefer to get a Wicked Wench release.
  6. What a beautiful imperial port city. I hope Red Beard's crew mange to pull off their daring rescue. Kudos on a great moc.
  7. I’m very much in the same boat as you. I love LEGO’s in-house IP and unique themes. I do think I would get into licensed themes more if they had the yellow skin toned minifigs, though I do appreciate and understand why they don’t.
  8. I’m pretty sure Jang buys all the sets he builds and reviews, so he’s very impartial and will give criticism where it’s due. He also comes across being a very warm and genuine human being.
  9. Hi friend. I was daydreaming the other day and letting my thoughts wander and thought of this thread at one stage so I thought I’d check it out again. How did you end up getting on with this project? Did you end up finishing the island/shipwrecked version of the MOC? I can’t quite fully picture how it would end up being once completed, but your description sounds very interesting, and given how well the Barracuda came out I think the island would end up up looking grand.
  10. The Skull’s Eye Schooner is a very nice ship and is really, really cool. However, the Barracuda wins for me. The only thing lacking in the Barracuda is the working compass that the Schooner has. But both ships are lovely and I would be proud to own either, or better yet both.
  11. I like the idea of a residential building, but do hope there is some small business at the ground floor like a new stand or small coffee shop or something even if it only takes up a small section of the floor space.
  12. Good stuff. Although I’m still hoping for a future dedicated Pirate only CMF series. And Castle too for that matter. D&D CMF series doesn’t count for the latter, I want a dedicated Castle themed CMF series with yellow skin, featuring Catle factions. Eagerly awaiting the Quartermaster CMF though, should be good.
  13. Where are those heads from?
  14. All I can think of is my younger brother’s friend, Mitchell, who had a bag and used to tear off pieces of paper and dip them in the bag and chase girls at school with them.
