  1. Thanks for the information Hulk_Smash. Well at this point, I have no clue what lego was thinking when they designed this set since its clearly an Umbaran AT-RT Walker, hopefully this set is still undergoing designs rather than an actual set(its just not right to have 3 characters who have never been seen together before in a CW episode in the same set with such a small vechical as the AT-RT as the main vechical.)
  2. Well in that case, do think its possible for the yoda and assassin droid to be place holders for a new yoda minifig and a new Super battle droid minifig, Hulk-Smash? Also was the AT-RT set background more dark and gloomy or green with trees?
  3. Well, The AT-RT set makes alot more sense now, although I would have been more pleased by an Umbaran Tank( I thought lego usually tried to have a set from the same event to battle an other set from that same event...2012: X-wing vs. TIE Fighter, 2011: Bounty Hunter Gunship vs. T6 Jedi Shuttle, 2010: Droid Tri Fighter vs. ARC-170 Starfighter and 2009: Republic Attack Shuttle vs Droid AAT) but, I like the idea of a Kashyyyk set with Yoda, an AT-RT Driver, and I think it will end up being a Super Battle Droid instead of an Assassin Droid. It dose seem like a very small set if it just included an AT-RT walker so, I hope lego will through in a new Dwarf Spider Droid to battle the AT-RT. Has there been any news on the two limited edition sets? I have a good feeling that one will be a TIE Interceptor and the other, an AOTC set(Really Hope to see a Tusken Raider Village Set!)
  4. Well thanks for your support, although the Ewok Village will most likely not hit the shelfs this year, I could see it as a possible set for the coming years. It would be very similar to the new Jabba's Place(Piece Count, Minifigs, Price and so on) but, I have very High hopes for a Geonosina Areana this year similar to Lego Harry Potter's Diagon Alley. As for your Cloud City Idea, I love it, and I could see it as a possible set for the near future. Although I doubt it would be broken down into three parts, rather than two sets(also similar to Jabba's Palace.) Here are is my idea on these Cloud City sets... Cloud City: Bespin Luke, Hoth Leia, Hoth Han, Bespin Lando, Chewbacca, C-3PO w/bag, Darth Vader, Stormtrooper, Boba Fett, Ugnaunt-119.99$ (Following Year)Clod Car with Landing Pad: Lobot, Cloud Car Pilotx2, Ugnaunt-49.99$ Thanks For Reading!
  5. My perdictions were almost all correct(except for the AT-RT set!) Well, its nice to finally see some rumors, although I would have loved to see pictures, it still nice. Here are my opinions on the sets... Old Republic Battlepack:I really thought this theme would die preety quickly but, I may just pick up this battlepack if it ends up coming with 2 Repubilc troopers, 2 Sith trooper and the sith speeder pad( I don't think thats what its called but it would be a great battlepack vechical.) Clone Trooper and Droideka Battle Pack: Not much to say, otherthan PHASE II CLONE TROOPERS, I think everyone would pick up this set just for them. I also thought that this battlepack would include the an AT-RT but who knows. A-wing Starfighter: Well I think everyone was excepting this set so not much of a suprise but, still a nice set. Sadly lego will end up selling this set for 25 dollars since they threw in Han Solo(Hopefully he'll be in his endor jacket, that would make this set a purchase for me.) AT-RT walker set: To be truthful, I doubt this will be a set, it just sounds to strange, even for lego to include yoda, a clone trooper and an assassin droid in one set with a smaller vechical like the AT-RT all in one set. I really hope we see an Umbaran Tank instead, It would be nice to see 2 umbaran soilders and Fives or Hardcase. Republic Z-95 headhunter: I somehow just knew this was going to be a set this wave, I think this will be a great set, and if Hulk_Smash is correct, and there was a Pong Krell in that set it would just make this set even better. As for the Planet sets, I think I may buy the Kamino one if the astro droid is R4-P17(there's everyone's AOTC set) but, I think thats it because, I already have plenty of TIE Pilots(Although there's a difference between a TIE Bomber pilot and a TIE pilot) an I don't think the astriode is all that great other than possibly recreating the Dogfight in Episode 5 and although Coruscant will be a great planet, I have no clue what a Republic Assult ship is and I pretty sure we would be getting a Phase 1 clone Pilot. I really hope to see some pictures soon!!!!
  6. Since we can except the Lego star wars 2013 set list soon, here are my ideas for the possible sets... Winter Wave: BattlePack-12.99$ Geonsis BattlePack-12.99$ A-wing Starfighter-19.99$ Umbaran Tank-24.99$ Rancor Pit-49.99$ Republic Z-95 Headhunter-59.99$ Liminted Edition Sets: Tie Interceptor-39.99$ Unknown-? Summer Wave: Obi-wan's Jedi Satrfighter-24.99$ AT-ST Walker-24.99$ Spider Droid Attack-39.99$ Imperial Shuttle-59.99$ Jango Fett's Slave 1-79.99$ Republic Gunship-119.99$ Ewok Village-119.99$ Limited Edition sets: Unknown-? CW set-? Lego Exclusive Sets: UCS Unknown Starfighter-? Geonosinan Areana-149.99$(similar to Lego Harry Potter's Diagon Alley) Thanks for Reading!
  7. Well, I pretty sure that out of those three possible sets, we'll see the A-wing this wave. I don't think the Ewok village would work well as a cheap set(It could work for a summer set though) and Yoda's hut would be nice but, I pretty sure lego would try pretty hard not to include Luke in two winter sets(more of a summer thing). I think the A-wing is perfect for this wave though if we were to see as a 20$, similar to the Imperial V-wing Starfighter, two Minifigs(A-wing pilot and Ackbar) and one to two play features. I could then see a TIE Interceptor set as an Limited Edition set to fight along with the A-wing. As for the AOTC sets, I really think we'll see a Geonosis Planet Set and for sure and possibly a Limited Edition AOTC set but sadly, I don't think there will be anymore AOTC sets fot the winter wave. The summer wave will be the time for these sets as I think we'll see at least 3 AOTC sets( an AT-TE walker or Republic Gunship would be great if lego were to sell a new Hailfire Droid to Fight it) Hopefully we'll see the set list very soon!
  8. I agree, I think there's a very big chance that we'll be seeing an Imperial Shuttle next year. I have noticed lego always tries to wait at least three years before they remake a set, and since we saw the UCS Imperial shuttle 3 years ago in 2010, I have a good feeling we'll see a non-UCS one in 2013. Although I would love also love to see the Tyderium with an Endor Han, Endor Leia, Endor Luke and Orrimarko(Prune face), I think its more likely we'll see Imperial Shuttle with Palapatine, Vader, an Imperial Pilot and two Red Guards, either way, It would be great to this set, I'm also hope that we'll see a A-wing and TIE interceptor next year. As for AOTC sets, I think its is almost certain that we'll see Obi-Wan's Jedi Starfighter and Jango Fett's Slave 1, since they were both released 3 years ago in 2010 but, the set that would make I think everyone's lego star wars 2013 year would be a Geonosian Areana. I could really see this set being made next year if it would be very similar to Jabba's Palace(Pieces, Minifigs and Price). Hopefully we'll see alot of great sets next year that can sell well aswell as make people happy.
  9. I would love to see this sest next year, sadly I doubt that lego would release this set next year, I think its more likely to see this set for 2014(15th year of lego star wars).I do Hope we see a yoda next year in a AOTC set though. Dose anyone else think that we can expect to see a Republic Z-95 Headhunter next wave, because we typically see one 50$ set and one 60 set for the winter wave and the Headhunter I would say would be worth about 50$. I just have a good feeling we'll see this set really soon. So is the offcial price of the Rancor Pit 60$ or 50$?
  10. Well, I'm not a very big Lego Superhero fan(I have one 2008 10$ Batman set and a Joker minifig) but, these new batman sets have really peaked my interest in Lego Superheros and depending on what the new sets next year will turn out like, I may just start becomeing more involved in Lego Superheros. So, here's what I'm hoping the New Super Hero Sets will be like next year... Mr.Freeze's Ice Trap: Mr.Freeze, Anti-Freeze Batman, Batman's Snowmobile, Mr.Freeze's Ice Hide out with some Ice trap and Escape Door-19.99$ The Penguin's Submarine Chase: The Peguin, Robin, Aquaman, Robin's Speeder Boat, Penguinx2-34.99$ Bane's Tumbler Assult: Bane, Gordon, TDKR Batman, Batcycle-49.99$ Arkham Aslym: Batman, Harley Quinn, Prison Joker, Posin Ivy, Scarecrow, Prison Guard-69.99$ Thanks for Reading!
  11. Sadly those great prices are only for some of the older sets, I just went to my local ToysRus today and was so happy to finally see some of the new summer sets out(No Jabba's Palace or Gungan Sub) but, I was so upset to see that ToysRus was charging and extra 10-30$ on their sets . Although I was very unhappy about the prices of these sets, I ended up purchasing Palpatine's Arrest for an Extra 20$. Terrible Price but a great set, that I can only buy at ToysRus.
  12. Well from what we can see(which is very little sadly) I would say that the playset is either a Theed Palace Playset or a very undeveloped Cloud City. I personally think it looks more like a Theed Palace Playset rather than a Cloud City Playset just because of the shape and lack other rooms which would be included in a Cloud City set. What I want to know is, what is that thing next to the Republic Cannon in the Botttom Left-Hand Conner of the Photo?
  13. Man, the Rancor Pit is just beyond Great! So happy to see such a great, detailed and good sized Rancor after so many years, The pit itself is also very nice and its wonderful to get a Rancor Keeper with this set, aswell as the new Luke and another Gamorrean Guard. So, was the price and release date the FBTB gave for the Rancor Pit the offical price and release date of this set? If so I'm really looking foward to getting this set in January for a pretty good price.(Really happy this set didn't go over 60!)
  14. Ya I agree with you about Geonosian Areana but, wouldn't be great if lego suprised us with that or a new Republic Gunship? As for the Battle Packs for next year, I have no ideas really that sound realistic, I would love to see lego make either a Gungan Battle Pack, Mon Cala Battle Pack or Phase II Clone Trooper Battle Pack.
  15. Well, I believe that 2013 will present some very interesting items for lego star wars... I believe the first wave of Lego Star Wars sets will be like the first wave of the year 2010 First Wave 2010- First Wave 2013- Hoth Battle Packs Battle Packs Freeco Speeder CW Set(Umbaran Tank) Droid Tri Fighter PT Set(Obi-wan's Jedi Starfighter) TIE Deffender OT Set(Rancor Pit) ARC Fighter CW Set(Republic Z-95 Headhunter) Now, for the second wave of lego star wars, I think it will look more like this... CW Set(Something From Season Five) OT Set(Possible AT-ST Walker) CW Set(Umbaran Starfighter) OT Set(Imperial Shuttle) PT Set(Jango Fett's Slave 1)--I think this set is almost certain PT Set(Geonosian Areana) CW Set(Umbaran MHC) Hopefully we some great stuff come out of 2013, Thanks for Reading!
  16. INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After so many years, we finally see a Rancor and its wonderful! ONe of the Best finds every, Bricksan and just2good, great job. So looking foward to adding this to my lego star wars collection Hopefully we'll see this set next wave for about 50$, so great though.
  17. Very interesting contest lego is having. I personal have no interest in entering it but, to me this is a great, big sign that says, "RANCOR PIT 2013"... If look at the picture, the towere that is included in Jabba's Palace is not there meaning that any possible build-on set would have to go on the bottom of Jabba's Palace and what is on the bottom of Jabba's Throne Room in the Movies, the Rancor Pit. I personally think the contest is again, just a smart way of getting people more into the possiblity of a Rancor Pit. Hopefully we'll see in 2013, and hopefully that 100$ prize will not be the cost of it.
  18. Well, since there is a possible chance we can except some AOTC sets next year, here a few sets I hope to see... Geonosis Battle Pack: Clone Trooper,Clone Commander, Geonosian Warriorx2, Republic Heavy Blaster-12.99$ Obi-Wan's Jedi Starfighter: Obi-wan, R4-P17-24.99$ Tusken Raider Village: Anakin, Tusken Raiderx2, Bantha, Jawa, Swoop bike, Camp Site-29.99$ Jango Fett's Slave 1: Jango Fett, Boba Fett, Lama Su-79.99$ Republic AT-TE Walker: Clone Trooperx2,Clone Captain, Clone Pilotx2, Yoda, Geonosian Battle Droid Commander-109.99$ As for a possible Geonosian Arena, since there is a strong chance we'll be getting a Rancor Pit next year to put under The new Jabba's, I'm really hopeful that we'll see more of these sets the are sold separately but are able to come together into one massive set. So here's my idea for a Geonsian Arena in Three differnet parts... Geaonsian Arena Part 1: Stass Allie, Padme, Geonsoian Warrior, Nexu, Areana Stands/Geonosian Catacombs/Geonsoian Warrior Roof Catapult, Prisoner Pillar-24.99$ Geonosian Arena Part 2: Obi-Wan Kenobi, Super Battle Droidx2, Acklay, Arena Stands/Small Droid factory/ Prison Holding, Prisoner Pillar-24.99$ Geonosian Arena Part 3: Anakin, Count Dooku, Mace Windo, Aayla Secura, Poggle the Lesser, C-3P0 Battle Droid, Geonosian Battle Droidx4, Reek, Geonsian Private Box/Large Opening Gate/ Large Droid Factory/ Command Room, Prisoner Pillar-119.99$ Thanks for Reading!
  19. Well based on the recently released Star Wars the Clone Wars Season 5 trailer, here are some set ideas based on what was shown in the trailer that I hope to see in the near future(Hopefully For 2013!) Droid Gunship: Hondo, Ahsoka, Rebelx2-49.99$ Jedi Ambassador Shuttle: Obi-Wan Kenobi, Adi Gilla, Savege Oppress, Darth-59.99$ Republic Snow Speeder: Anakin, Embo, the two people Anakin was with-24.99$ Republic Y-Wing Bomber: Clone Pilot, Clone Gunner, Astro Droid, Commander Cody-59.99$ and have very little to do with Season 5 a Battle Pack idea that I really hope to see next year: Gunner Droid and Clone Forces Battle Pack: Clone Trooperx2, Gunner Droidx2, Droid Armored Scout Tanks(AST)-12.99$ I now its no much to run with but, these ideas could grow into something more inthe near future. Thanks for Reading!
  20. Well according to Brickipedia, the B-Wing will have integrated Power functions. To me, this means two things, one, that it will be pretty big(around 1,500-2,000 pieces) if lego wants to cover up all the Power Functions and two,the B-Wing will be minifig-scale. If it dose end up including minifigs, I hope to see a Mon Calimari Pilot, a new B-Wing Pilot and either a Lando with Rebel General Uniform or an Ackbar. Either with or without minifigs, it will mostly likely be close to the 275$-300$ range, this may seem like a high price but, if lego was to be able to make the wings move into and out of Attack Position with the power functions and make the ship minifig-scale, I would have to reconsider this set. Hopefully we'll see pictures really soon that will either disprove or prove these rumors.
  21. Well with the new information and picture evidence provided by Alldarker that there is a strong chance that we'll see a Rancor Pit next year, here are a couple possible ways the set could be made... If the set were to come out during the First Winter Wave of Lego Star Wars, I have a feeliing it will be small and end up being something like this... Rancor Pit: Luke(Hood and Cape) Rancor Keeper, Gammorrean Guard and Rancor--Features: Open and Close the Rancor Gate, Add to Jabba's Palace-24.99$ Now, if the Rancor Pit were to come out During the Second Summer Wave of Lego Star Wars I have a feeling it would be bigger and we would end up with something like this... Rancor Pit and Droid Dungeon: Luke(Hood and Cape), Rancor Keeper, EV-9D9, GNK Droid, Rancor--Features: Open and Close the Rancor Gate, Torture the GNK Droid, Add to Jabba's Palace-49.99$ I personally think that the Summer Wave Rancor Pit is the one we'll end up with just due to its more realistic size aswell as price point. Thanks for Reading.
  22. Well considering that I have well over 200 minifigs and have several home made sets like my own Echo Base and Turbo Tank I would say my whole lego star wars collection would be worth about 2,700$ after I buy the summer sets though, it will be worth about 3,000$. I don't think thats bad at all.
  23. WOW, great find Alldarker, you have presented alot of strong evidence to suggest that next year we'll see a Rancor Pit to go under Jabba's Palace. I personally predict that instead of just the Rancor Pit for about 25$ we'll end up seeing a Rancor Pit/Droid Dungeon deal sadly for arouond 50$. If you were to have it like this, you could have the Rancor Pit as your center structure with play features like a closing and opening door and then on the side, you could have a small droid dungeon with play features like the torture of the GNK Droid conducted by EV-9D9. For thhe Minifigs, lego could eaisly only have 4 minifigs included in this set, You would have a Luke, Rancor Keeper, EV-9D9 and a GNK Droid simple, yet key to the sences from the episode. In the end, lego would be pretty smart if they end up coming out with a Rancor Pit/Droid Dungeon because would you rather put all of Jabba's Palace toghter in one set for the same price as Jabba's Palace now or split it up and sell Jabba's Plalce for 120$ and a Rancor Pit/Droid Dungeon for 50$ and in the end make about 170$ when people buy those two sets.
  24. I agree, lego could have just made Palapatine's chambers eaisly under 75 pieces and thrown it on one of the three sides of the office. I mean the limited Edition Toys R Us set last year, Echo Base was 773 pieces and included 8 minifigs for the exact same price of Palapatine's Arrest which is only 645 pieces and only comes with 6 minifigs. I must say, lego is just getting smarter knowning that people, such as myself, will say negative things about the set and price yet, in the end we'll be pulled into spending a 100$ for this over-priced set. The lego world is a very, very strange place
  25. I pretty sure I figured out what those connection pieces on the bottom of Palapatine's office are for, I belive they're there so you can put the door and landing pad on different sides. Look at the cover of the box, the door is on the right-side and the landing pad is in the middle but, if you look on the back of the box, the door is in the middle and the landing pad is on the left side of the office so sadly no Jedi Temeple anytime soon but, a cool little feature. I noticed the Mandalorian Starfighter was right next to Palapatine's Arrest, are there any pictures of that set?
