  1. I have seen a lot of reviews, and in every one it has this same issue, so you're not the only one As far as I can see, it's definitely reddish brown Don't have a big problem with that, but heck, his eyes look a bit off because all of the other big herbivores have a yellow dot in the iris and this one doesn't, I know it sounds a bit whiny but just telling, also it's a bit weird that the the first two triceratops from 2012 and 2019 both have grey horns and this one's tan
  2. Enough T. Rexes for me... I had a set in mind (diorama) like the grass field with a Brachiosaurus and some tall trees which could include a jeep or 2. Anyways, I was searching a bit and it seems that the diorama breakout set can't connent to the UCS gate set from 2019 and I think that's really a missed opportunity
  3. True, I'm following him a lot these days, his dinosaur concepts are so amazing and accurate, but with a Lego-ish style and it's so perfect! But I guess it would destroy the budget for the theme, although I prefer quality over quantity. Imagine it would have had the Baryonyx head I think it would be interesting to see a neck piece too, and it could be reused for a future Parasaurolophus or Stegosaurus A nice set for TLW could be a sort of diorama set in the woods with the first Stego encounter of Ian and Sarah
  4. I think it could just include like one of the main characters, like in the mini-castle set. Both? I thought there were 3 sets. To my taste they are pretty good and I like how Zurg turned out to look. I like how they made the star ship set look like a MBS set with that stand too
  5. I guess it's a good thing that there is a high chance we're getting Spinosaurus (next year?). But I'm not the biggest fan of them reusing that body piece with the spine, since it's too small for the Spino's one, I know Lego has done a lot of inaccuracies around dino's but I think it would be a bit too out of place for him. Why couldn't Lego use more models from the game?? Take the Ankylosaurus as an example; you couldn't even tell it's the same guy if you compare the two.
  6. I beg to God that the theme will continue. My shelves for JP: TLW and JP III sets are a bit empty right now... Btw, I'm a liiiiiiiiiiittle bit disappointed about the Giga; his spine looks a bit too 'spiky' to me if you compare it to the actual one, and it should be much closer to his neck. Not a big fan of the way his eyes are literally looking up, because it makes him look a bit clumsy
  7. That armor piece looks pretty much identical to the one for Paz Vizsla from The Mandalorian
  8. ''See? Nobody cares.''
  9. That should mean that the Henry Wu minifig is the only exclusive one in the giga and theri set.
  10. Nice that you went through all that, but... 'Flying dinosaur thingy'??? Couldn't you just say the normal names?
  11. Me too! I hope the theme continues without new movies for a while, like Harry Potter and Star Wars. Lego still has a whole world of possibilities for new sets based of the first three movies and it would be a huge dissapointment if they didn't. To me, the only set Jurassic Park is missing is the visitor center (maybe like twice the size of the UCS Mos Eisley Cantina) or the raptor paddock.
  12. Sorry for just bashing in guys, but the Obi-Wan Kenobi Series teaser trailer just came out:
  13. Lol I think it could kinda fit, but on the other hand, Therizinosaurus walks pretty straight and you would easily see the Lego sign on his belly I don't care about that minifig, but the build is looking good! Now we have 3 Malta sets to combine.
  14. True, lol, very dumb change... Same thing with almost every set name ending with 'Breakout' or 'Escape'. Another thing, this doesn't really have to do with anything I guess, but this is my list that I want to share of dinos I would really like to see in the near future: Stegosaurus: New molds (+ neck piece) except for the belly of the Ankylosaurus (not using the same leg parts from the Trike, because the ones from the Stegosaurus are actually a bit bigger and longer). Nasutoceratops: reusing all the parts from the Trike except for the head Sinoceratops: New head and (maybe) a chunkier body piece. Apatosaurus: this would be the easiest sauropod for Lego to make, and it would have the same design as in Lego JW: TG but slightly bigger. Brachiosaurus: This..... would be a B L E S S I N G. IF they would make this magnificent creature, it would have once again have the same design and scale as in the game, but his tail should be a little longer. Dimorphodon: Since he is pretty small, I think he would have one big piece for the whole body (except maybe for the jaw), like the new Atrociraptor and Pyroraptor Parasaurolophus, Corythosaurus and Iguanodon: These three would share the same parts except for their heads. They could have a neck piece and the same arms the Carnotaurus has. Pachycephalosaurus: This one would only need a new head piece. Ceratosaurus: This one would be cool, but Lego needs to make a smaller body piece for carnivores who aren't that big as Rexy, like Carnotaurus Allosaurus: Same thing as with the Ceratosaurus, smaller body piece, new head Spinosaurus: This one shouldn't be too hard to make. He would look the same as in the game Compsognathus: Compy is like the Spino pretty iconic and needs to be very easy to make, like the same size as a baby velociraptor (not the one from Beta), and it would maybe be included in the first ever dino battle pack??? LOL Mosasaurus: We need a marine 'dinosaur'. It should have new pieces and be a little bigger than the Indominus. My dream set would be the Mosasaurus arena including a lot of tourists and (of course) the Mosasaurus (could be a UCS set). Adult Bumpy: Just recolors. Scorpius Rex: This devil-looking monster would be cool to see in a new CC wave. And here are the reworks (mostly downsizes): Baryonyx and Indoraptor: these two are very oversized compared to dinos like Triceratops and T. rex. I actually think Lego should downsize most of the parts they have Stygimoloch and Velociraptor: It's a bit weird that the Velociraptor still doesn't have the correct size like the new Atrociraptor, Pyro and Dilo, but whatever. Same thing for the Stygimoloch, so they would need to be around the same size of the new raptors, although they would have less movement Carnotaurus: This one is way too oversized and wasn't even close to having the same size as Rexy, and as I mentioned before, there isn't a body piece for smaller Carnivores and this would really come in handy for future carnivores. Lego could also (if they have the budget) make a new head piece because the one we have now isn't very accurate.
  15. Pretty simple awnser, they could easily use the model and scale from the Stegosaurus from Lego JW the game, and it would be fun seeing him having the same mechanism the Ankylosaurus had, so he is able to have a swinging tail
  16. Maybe you can connect the 2 sets of some sort?? Although the Pyro and Dilo set is basically just a vehicle. As for the price, I hope the build is a full build like the gyrosphere set, and not that it is empty on the back... Interesting. It's nice that Barry is returning, side characters in Jurassic World/Park films usually appear just in 1 movie
  17. This is literally turning into spam But seriously, this discussion is really starting to dry out
  18. ''Is it a meat-eating, eh..., meat-o-saurus?'' Yeah, lol. The old arms didn't need to be changed if you ask me
  19. I actually think the therizinosaurus WILL be included, because 130 bucks would be way too expencive for just 1 big dino. Especially if you compare it to set 75941, which was just 100€ and had 2 big dinosaurs. Frankly, 76952 would be the first set with 2 exclusive dinosaurs
  20. I was thinking... maybe the gap between 76951 and 76956 is the wave of 4 sets for 2023?? Lego usually makes 4 sets a year for Jurassic World when there isn't a movie coming out No prob That's a cool change! That's an amazing addition! Lego really pays attention to detail! I thought they would need a new mold for it, but this actually works really well. ''Is it heavy? Then it is expensive, put it back!'
  21. My ranking: 1. T. rex Breakout (10/10) Love this set, only thing I would have changed is including a goat and the lawyer. 2. Quetzalcuatlus Plane Ambush (9/10) Good plane design, and the Quetzal is just outstanding, but the kayla minifig sucks. 3. Pyroraptor & Dilophosaurus Transport (8.5/10) Good that we got Ellie and Ian in a cheaper set. 4. Triceratops Pickup Truck (8/10) I like this set because herbivores are pretty rare, so I get excited when I see one. The rest of the set is also not bad. 5. Blue & Beta Velociraptor Capture (8/10) We had to wait 7 years for Lego to get the colours of Blue right, but now we have it! I love the new mold for Beta too. 6. Atrociraptor Dinosaur Bike Chase (8/10) Like the build, like the dino. And it's one of the few sets that is actually based off a scene. 7. T. rex & Atrociraptor Dinosaur Breakout (6/10) The build is weak, and the inclusion of the T. rex is just unnecessary. 8. Pteranodon Chase (5/10) The Pteranodon colours are kinda good. 9. T. rex Dinosaur Breakout (3.5/10) I hate this set, and I would only buy this for the minifigs.
  22. Shouldn't this post be updated?
  23. The feathered dino IS a raptor. (Pyroraptor) I meant not yet
  24. I like how everyone is talking about the same set that doesn't exist for the past 4-5 pages
