  1. I bought this for my 8 year old daughter last weekend, it is a truly great set. Very well designed, and a fun build, this was her first system set that she built by herself (I only helped her with maybe 4 or 5 pieces.) and I was quite proud of her. Thanks for the excellent review.
  2. I absolutely LOVE the GYD..... It's an amazing set with a TON of playability. Thanks for the excellent review!
  3. I think the previous were probably BEST but... I got an Arkham Asylum for $19
  4. For me, POA wins best year on sheer volume. I Love Hogwarts III, the greenhouse is beautiful! But the Graveyard Duel from GOF is my favorite set. I just can't get enough of the horror-y goodness.
  5. Most Impressive! I am an unabashed HP fan, and massively envious of your collection! Thanks for sharing!

    City '09?

I don't post in this sub-forum often as I am not really a big City guy but ...... This SUV is bad-big behind...... I can't wait to get my hands on it!!!! That is all
  7. Fair enough! Mods: Move away! New Guy F'ing Up ON!!!! >:-)
  8. I don't. I don't have the room to sort/store my loose bricks.
  9. Rant-ish Statement ..... I just don't understand the general HATE for bley *wacko* ...... to me the use of both new and old colors in most castle MOCs is more realistic. For a space or possibly town moc I can see the need for uniformity but for Castle building I like the "worn" look of the mixed colors ..... ___________________________________________________________ As for Lego's "stupidest decision"? GALIDOR. Hands down.
  10. Troll on the Loose, My GF got it for me. $0.99 @ Target in 2004/2005. It was like they found it laying in the stockroom behind the racks, it wasn't even in the computer system anymore. or perhaps Hogwarts V2 for $22.00 on clearance @ Target
  11. It's like you read my mind! Mission 4 ~ It appears the villian has kidnapped a female public speaker and she is being held (hanging from a chain on a floating crane rig..) Thus, thw AGENTS are trying to retrieve the hostage/kidnap-ee
  12. It turns out I also got: 6411 Sand Dollar Cafe 90% Complete I didn't think it should go to Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds because it was a one time thing. Sorry :-(
  13. It Turns out the 7315 Solar Explorer is about 95% Complete so I can't hate on that!
  14. Well, I'm sad to report that the bag that I *thought* was 8781 Castle of Morcia ended up being about
  15. Today I stopped buy this little hole in the wall used toy "store" and picked up 8781 Castle of Morcia ~ Still Building 8800 Vladek's Siege Engine ~ Complete 8779 The Grand Tournament ~ Missing one piece: http://www.bricklink.com/P/59/48492.GIF 7315 Solar Explorer ~ About 50% Complete 8381 Exo Racer ~ Complete And several hundred random parts in a plastic tub (parts from HP Quiddich Lesson and Hogwarts, Paradisia, Santa Minifig and so on....) All for $30USD Seems like a pretty darn good deal!
  16. Truly amazing. The sheer amount of bricks is mind blowing! His technique is simply beautiful.... Perhaps the finest MOC I've seen of any kind.
  17. I just got mine delvered today. (1/2 price from LSAH)............. I love it! I'm just sorry I missed out on the daily anticipation!
  18. I think the use of gray/bley and the dark gray/bley is quite realistic. I love this MOC.
  19. Customs from Brickshelf: The same guy that did the JSFs It looks like he casted himself some new pieces.... http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=179207
  20. This might be my favorite post ever........ He must cast his own parts, they certainly don't look painted and most of the parts aren't available in those colors ..... I want one of each! Also, he has done some droids. they too support the "cast your own" theory http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=179207
  21. No need to get offended or defensive. It's certainly a valid question, just not one you have to worry about until 2011 (and probably not at all ;-) )
  22. I don't see Lego allowing the license to lapse. SW has too mauch potential, as was stated above, Legacy (as well as other Dark Horse comics) offer a huge well of untapped characters/vehicles/scenes. The Clone Wars Series will obviously expand on what we've already seen, and re-makes of the saga sets will always be good sellers. As for the OT vs New/Eu stuff, I too am a OT fan first and foremost but sets like the Ep3 JSFs and the Rouge Shadow are just amazing. There's always room on my shelf for more SW sets. Don't worry about Lego losing SW, the other licenses are failing left and right :-( SW keeps going strong!
  23. I had to go with: Kit Fisto Orcs Death Eater MM Astronaut
  24. YES!!!! Thanks Hinckley, both for making it and showing me where to find it again! I was showing a co-worker some MOCs the other day and wanted him to see yours, but I couldn't find it! Edit: Wow! I ashamed of myself, I was wrong about it height/constrution on many levels :( Again, It's an awsome scene Hinckley
  25. Sadly, no. I wish I could. I do remember it had a slender (6ish stud wide) tower that was topped with 2 of these: Side by side as the parapet with a sloped roof.
