  1. Good lord I love Ekimu. You can see he's wise, but he's not the generic wise village elder. I love him, feels fresh for a change. Makuta too. He might be evil, yes, but when you think of it it's not really completely his fault. He made the MoUP because he was jealous of Ekimu being praised more than him. I mean, of COURSE Ekimu would do better masks with a Mask of Creation. The whole storyline wouldn't have happened if the villagers thought better of Makuta's masks (or if Makuta didn't get jealous for starters). Maybe Makuta will get redeemed at the end and the MoUP will be the main villain? The MoUP seems to have sentience after all. Compare that to G1 Teridax, where everything he did was to get more power and control. He might have been a good bad guy but everything he did was for being evil I felt. Or maybe I'm overthinking everything. Still, headcanon I suppose.
  2. That background reminds me of a prison. Or some kind of storage. Mostly a prison. Whatever it is, doesn't feel like it's on the surface of Okoto. I feel it's underground.
  3. I remember DV saying that G2 sold good enough for LEGO to move on or something? Or am I misremembering.
  4. Umarak is all I wanted from a BIONICLE villain. Thank you LEGO.
  5. ... Ooooh. Just realized Makuta most likely used his mask to control the Skull creatures. I'm slow. But, if Ekimu went into a coma after knocking the MoUP out of Makuta's face, shouldn't Makuta be asleep too? Or did he manage to stay awake all this time? Did someone help him?
  6. The very first animation said that the three masks were scattered across the island. It shows the MoC in an altar on a jungle, but if that's the case, how did it get from the jungle to the City of the Mask Makers? It's a bit of a plothole but whatever. Maybe we'll get it all clear next year or as the animations draw close to the end.
  7. I don't know why but I love Ekimu. He's not your everyday ancient wise dude that only speaks wisdom and knows the right way and stuff. I kind of like him more than Mata Nui to be honest.
  8. Sooomeone explain why do people think that's the ending of the animations? First batch of animations ended with LoSS defeated, the Toa venture on the City of the Mask Makers, and a Skull Warrior hand shows up from the underground as a cliffhanger and a teaser. Villain shows up, gets defeated, Heroes continue on, teaser. Compare that to I just can't find the logic to it.
  9. Far right Onua reminds me of Titanfall. Seeing stuff like those makes me wish some wave with futuristic streamlined Masks, at least for a single wave, something simple and smooth.
  10. Individuality, that's what I want. Couldn't find the word. I'd like to see species, but I do not want to see a full wave of EVIL or villain species with one main big bad guy (ehemsavageplanet) or just a generic member of the X species that helps the heroes do Z but remains part of the hivemind. I'd pretty much rather have individual creatures, that while they still are a member of a species, they still stand out and have their uniqueness by themselves. Something to set them apart from the rest. The first thing that I could think of when saying that is the Hahnah Crab that came with Jaller Mahri. It's not the perfect example for my argument, but it's the closest thing I can think of. Introduced a species and was cool by itself, he saved Jaller at one point I remember. I'm not saying that having species as sets is bad. Just, I want them to be unique, and if they are not unique, at least make the one that is a set have SOMETHING that stands out from the rest of the species. Doesn't have to be a full personality with feelings or thoughts, just something so I could differentiate one from the rest.
  11. Ugh, I just realized, I hope those Creatures and Beasts sets aren't another "mindless animals-kind" of enemies/allies and have personality and... Singularity I guess? (can't think of the word) I absolutely dislike when they do sets like Savage Planet or Brain Attack beasts which are a representation of a single species. The Skull creatures (besides Kulta) kind of suffer of this too, but I'll admit that I love Skull Warriors. While they are still army-builders, I can see Skull Warriors being like Stormtroopers for example, an actual army. Creatures and Beasts sets bore me to death and I hope Umarak is as great as he/she has the potential to be.
  12. Oh whoops, I can't english, thought he was talking about BIONICLE. Still, even with the giant media shenanigans that Ninjago got, I'm still amazed that LEGO got calls over Ninjago being cancelled. I knew it was a huge success but I think I was underestimating it.
  13. LEGO got calls over BIONICLE's end? Not something I expected to hear.
  14. Come summer 2016 and Pohatu was Makuta all along and the real Pohatu is actually like G1 personality-wise which is why he knows everything about Okoto. /s Kind of surprised there's a new episode already. It felt like the Fallen Heroes one was released last Monday or something.
  15. With all this talk about those Beasts being the Creatures merged into one, the first thing that I thought of was Slizers.
  16. Trying to picture a spider with a mouth gatling gun and it sounds ridiculous. I love it.
  17. The "I hate fire" part felt shoehorned in, but overall, was a good episode.
  18. Boo I wanted Ghosts. Hoping these Creatures are Ghosts of some sort.
  19. http://www.amazon.com/LEGO-BIONICLE-Graphic-Novel-2/dp/031626623X/ref=pd_rhf_dp_s_cp_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=0D9DXF7SXCF272KAAX2N Is this one new?
  20. The Graveyard art looks sweet. I guess in this universe people can pass away unlike Bionicle. EDIT: Then again, Skull undead warriors. Should've noticed earlier haha.
  21. They did? Never read that, when did it happen? Sounds interesting.
  22. For some reason animated Slicer looks better than the set itself. For me at least.
  23. Ooooh yeah, ghost CCBS sets. Hoping this means there'll be plenty of transparent pieces.
