  1. Id have a very long chat with recbrickable - stupid that is. Surely they get its to scale with the rest of your fleet.
  2. You where away in my eyes XD If you're not playing with lego's..... Hehehe Looking forward to your updates on the Cantwell Class ship. :) Also super excited for the Executor
  3. YAY HES BACK Btw Kdapt - your cantwell class ship is coming to life - new series "Andor" - catch the trailer yet? :)
  4. This - give it a uniform base to stand on with some anchoring to keep it from tipping and you should be golden.
  5. Don't think anyone's done one yet since the UCS AT AT - although there was discussion on one. Google would be the only source of truth here for the moment - or you could always design one yourself :)
  6. Cant wait to see your updates - feel free to hit me up on discord for spot checking if you want.
  7. ouuu new technique.
  8. Now THAT is a grand army.
  9. If there's one thing I've learned - is eurobricks is full of bloody genius's. @ForgedInLego over there is a life saver for one - he bailed me out of trouble on my TIE/d MOC. The folks here across the different segmented areas are just full of brilliant ideas. Way I see it - might as well pay that forward. :D
  10. If you want I could take a look at the design and give an honest opinion about structure - thanks to my recent hell I've suffered - should be easy to sus out stability/weight. I also agree that techinic isn't always necessarily the best solution - but it looks like you have some good stuff going on thus far. Feel free to PM me if you want me to take a gander. Or just provide cross-sections here. Also avail on Discord if you want to chat.
  11. Yeah I wasn't quite awake to realize this isn't built "IRL" But as someone who has had to deal with such things (See my TIE/d thread below) - yeah - that won't hold - better to be safe than sorry. It looks good - but the weight/strength is in question - unless your going to cradle those engines. I would give it 1 in 4 odds of holding - but I'm paranoid.
  12. Nicely done - totally loving the detail/scale.
  13. I'll have to look into that...still need to clean up my TIE/d - got a co-worker building one out so I'm eager to learn how it works out - although he may take a long time to get there - was hopping more would show up to help test the thing out lol.
  14. Nice work Monkey. Looks great as ever. I just may go and build one. I forgot to ask - does yours sit on a stand or is it safe on its TIE panels?
  15. LOL - not an xray - just a nuance of Stud.io - if you edit one submodel and zoom out - you get an Xray effect - pretty nifty. That's 7-8000 pieces by the way.
  16. As a additional tidbit - Lego.com isn't kind on packing - they tend to dump everything in one bag which makes brick counting tedious when your doing an inventory check - my last order - they missed a couple of things. That said - yep - shipping is free when you reach a threshold.
  17. Not to give the OP any credit - but ALL lego products get retired eventually - point being - this is not one of them - yet - nor will it be for a good long while. Case and point - the UCS A-Wing just retired - and it was around for a good while.
  18. Figured - but I could use some in-depth guidance - right now its rather raw - I'd like to polish it off - right now its likely the only "decent" TIE/d on the MOC board - and likely will not be replaced any time soon due to the severity of the nature of this beast in terms of complexity. :) That and I'd like to make sure its not someone will pawn off as their own so watermarks would be nice - and I want to give credit to those who helped make this thing come to life. Call it a practice run for the Otana
  19. Still looking for guidance on a proper release of my MOC - manual/methodology/credit giving - etc. Feel free to DM/hit me up - etc.
  20. You're making wild speculation with little to nothing but subjective observations that do not make sense at all. I recently acquired some Lego Orchids - the moment they show up - they fly off the shelves so fast my head spins. Landspeeders going out the doors in a hell of a hurry. The list goes on. Can't even get my hands on a Delorian (Back to the Future) - they are very rare. As myself and Mandolrian pointed out - its just simply out of stock and exceedingly popular. They are not halting production (yet) - they are not in trouble - they are printing money - literally. If anything they are playing a game of demand driving - produce enough to entice - but make people come back for more - no different than a narcotic. Common tactic in industry. Is it nice? No - Is it a shortage on supply (due to literal supply)? Don't make me laugh - its driving up profits. You're reading too much into this - your just going to stress yourself out unnecessarily.
  21. If you're not careful you'll end up opening a business lol. The UK firm I've been buying my UCS Stickers from is giving me a pair of freebies for my TIE/d MOC :)
  22. ^This Its just a popular set that is out of stock. No more - no less. Not seen this at my local Lego shop however - must be very popular. Would have grabbed a few of these for my UCS Republic Gunship set but alas - it wasn't on my radar all that much. Pricing is what I'd expect as well. (As I bought a couple of battle packs myself for my AT AT) All I see here is wild speculation.
  23. You should go look at my Otana design - its extremely Technic heavy on the frame. Wouldn't mind some consulting/help on that thing. (Not to mention In dire need of volunteers to test lol) Little teaser pic I created here
