  1. That’s what I was wondering, I’m not sure how trustworthy they are… But looking at Lightaling (They made light kit in the first picture) they seem pretty legit. But then again their kit costs over twice as much as the Game of Bricks one…
  2. Just noticed that a couple of companies have already released light kits for the Titanic, And they look pretty awesome.
  3. Or 1985, or even 2015 Man I hope this rumor is true, I'm assuming it is due to the abundance of information about the model. I was quite disappointed when the DeLorean did not come this year, as I have always wanted a large scale Lego DeLorean (I have the Ideas one), but hopefully it comes to fruition in 2022. Fingers crossed!
  4. Agreed. And @SuperSirLink apparently that flag was flying from that location on the bow while the Titanic was being dressed in Southampton, though it was not flying during the voyage so I am not sure why they included it. Not that I am complaining, another cool flag piece is always welcome.
  5. Dang, I had no idea it would sell out that fast. I was/am hoping to get it in time for Christmas but did not have the foresight to preorder it as soon as it became available. (Doh!) Does anybody think it will still be possible for it to arrive in time for Christmas (In the US)?
  6. That probably will not be as difficult as it usually would be, with the second interior area right where the Titanic split in two. The interior of that section would also be interesting to see in a sinking/splitting model, with all the rooms exposed. Of course, I prefer the whole Titanic, but it would still be intriguing to see a sinking model.
  7. I hope the rumored BMW does not replace the 2022 supercar, as motorcycles aren't really my thing... That being said, it will be interesting to see that set if it comes to fruition. About the supercar set, for the Sian the first teaser was revealed on January 29, 2020, so maybe we'll get something around then if we are getting such a set.
  8. According to Bricksie’s video, just under 34 inches.
  9. According to Bricksie’s video, just under 34 inches.
  10. While the Cobi model's hull is arguably closer to the actual thing in terms of shape, I don't see how Lego could create that shape and still keep the smooth, polished look of the hull that the model has. I think that to get the shape would mean sacrificing the hull's clean look and would simply not look as good as what Lego accomplished. Just compare the actual look of the Lego hull vs the Cobi hull. I do quite like the Cobi model and do not dislike how the hull looks, but IMHO the smooth Lego hull looks much better then Cobi's slightly more accurate, but less refined looking hull.
  11. I can’t get over all the incredible details!! From the working reciprocating engines and working rigging tightener, to little things such as the railings, staircases, and even a period correct American flag with 46 stars. Awesome!
  12. It’s beautiful!!! It’s everything I’ve been waiting for for so many long years!! I can’t believe it’s finally officially here!
  13. Thank you! I bet it is more fun, and I look forward to interacting with all of you! Wow!! That is awesome!! Those will definitely look awesome together, Maybe once you finish both ships, you would be willing to share some photos? On a different note, I was thinking a bit about the possibility of a GWP that could come with this set, and did a few calculations. A scale model of the SS Traffic, one of Titanic's tenders would be around 11.16 inches long, and a model of the other tender, Nomadic, would be just around 13.2. Given the size of the Colosseum GWP, these seem a little too large unfortunately... But I would love to be wrong! What I think would be more likely is Alvin, the submarine that rediscovered Titanic. In scale with the Titanic a scale model of Alvin would be around 1.5 inches long, Which is obviously much closer, even smaller then the Colosseum GWP.
  14. Hello everybody! I have been viewing Eurobricks since the beginning of last year, and have been following this thread since it was created back in January. I have been meaning to sign up for a while now, but the recent leak led me to decide to finally make an account before the set is officially revealed, so I can share my thoughts when it is. Speaking of the set, I absolutely love it! I’ve been interested and researching every little thing I can about the Titanic for many years now, and have been waiting for a lego set for just as long, and I think Lego knocked it out of the park. I’m so excited to finally see all the pictures of it and (Hopefully) it’s interior when it is revealed, and talking to you all about it then! And happy birthday @MrKite6!
