I want to buy the 10x10 string net piece, and found a local seller who has one for sale with a comment ‘thin string’ When I asked him to clarify it he wrote: Has anyone ever come across those thinner nets? Or maybe you have photos to compare? Thanks!

Love the Islanders theme, this is a great set. I especially like the chunky palm tree - clever and simple :)

Im in love with this remake, what a treat to look at

thank you very much :)

Lovely set, agree with the rats comment, they would make a great addition

Hey everyone, Which lego head looks "most drunk"? Ideally happy drunk lol sort of like this emoji: Has Lego ever made a face print that looks drunk?
-
Looks amazing, took me a second to click how you made those stairs - great stuff :)

I'd love an updated Ironhook torso with backprint - the OG ripped red shirt with strapped knife torso was my childhood's favourite
-
Recently I got a few of those watermelon heads, go well with the rest of the food in crates of my Barracuda Bay Also, I can't believe how expensive is the Seagul piece :( I really hope they will make more sets with it, to drive the price down
-
Incredible! Can someone ID for me the torso of the pirate in the bird's nest pls?
-
Your storytelling and photography is on point, as always. Great MOC and hommage to the OG pirates :)

Got this torso from Bricklink, fits amazing:

ahhhh forgot this has different pattern on the back :D thank you

While I love those early sets and have fond memories from my childhood, I think they look quite basic and not detailed enough today (especially after the Barracuda Bay set raised the bar so high). I really hope we will see updated versions of those gems from the past sooner or later.

I wrote here because it's listed in the sticky 'LEGO Pirates Master Index' thread. To avoid new users like me bumping up old threads, maybe mods could review all posts in that sticky 'menu' topic and update them?

THanks, what is that white brick? I don't think I've seen it before - just tried searching for modified 1x2 brick on Bricklink but it's not showing up...

I'm in love with this set, if we were to get another Pirates set from Lego that'd cover the Blue Coats theme, I would SO MUCH prefer to get a building of this type rather than a Blue Coat ship.

Loving this, my cousin got this set when we were kids, I've always wanted to have it. This remake is brilliant.

Jan, I'm absolutely in love with your photography and storytelling. Incredible job :) Have to ask - what's the black piece you used in your accordion? Is that a basic hinge piece?

[MOC] Brickonium. A brief history about a dystopic planet.

Incredible set, so many things to look at! Gives me Blade Runner / Fifth Element vibes :) well done
