  1. It will not be minifig scale either, and the foliage will probably not work well for Castle mocs. But still interesting to see their take, and have it inspire actual Castle recreations. I think a Garden setting could compliment Castle pretty well
  2. Good call. I didn't even realize that was a theme, but this seems to fit.
  3. Hot off the presses Looks like we're getting a Medieval gardens in January. ~1.1k+ pc set. No pictures of it so far, so not sure what this will look like at all. I'm not even entirely sure if this is a real 'Castle' line set, since it looks priced and pieced similarly to Fountain Gardens. We will see.
  4. More a planned lifespan to generate demand. The difference today is they know AFOLs will buy large quantities out of a fear of missing out
  5. Bull Knights were on the Vending Machine poll, so I definitely wouldn't count them out. I imagine they could do a Joust set and have a bunch of different cameo factions be present as various jousting knights, or they could always revisit em in a CMF one-off.
  6. It's a bit incomparable as I don't think new generation of kids are growing up with any type of Castle Lego in the same way as it's being bought by Adults who grew up with it. The sets kids go for would be what's readily available on store shelves, while Castle has become adult collector items that you can only get in the Lego store or online. My 3 year old gets exposed to all sorts of Lego themes from Marvel and DIsney to Friends and Ninjago. Yet her only exposure to Castle would only ever be through my collection.
  7. I'd really hoped the Majisto GWP was a gateway to Dragon Masters return, but we didn't even get a CMF out of that. All while Wolfpack got a surprising resurgence. So it's really all up in the air for what the Sea Serpent means in the future. I still want one just as a rival for the Krakens. And I'm sure a 3rd party will make cloth sails. Unfortunate, but also probably for the best rather than waiting for Lego to resurge every Castle theme. --edit-- Ninjago Dragon of Life looks like it'll have some great parts for a forest creature build. I can see some useful applications for its leafy wing parts
  8. I think you're underestimating the power of Black Friday and Christmas sales. PAB would absolutely impact it if the torso's and shields were readily available. To most of us, we will be willing to wait. But there is enough sway with sales/promotions to get people on the fence to pull the trigger on big sets like the gumball machine. Hell, Prime day was enough for me to finally get Medieval Town Square even though I've been on the fence since it was announced. Can usually find them decently priced on aftermarket. Usually from people who get the GWP who aren't interested in the theme. I managed to get a few Forest Hideouts that way.
  9. Tarrifs messing with PAB standard parts is going to be a pain. I'm really hoping the 4 new faction minifig parts will all get to be bestseller in NA, or else it's gonna be tough getting Krakens and Griffins, or army building Horse and Snake knights.
  10. Love the diorama! Fantastic bone dragon, too. I love seeing giant fantasy creatures. I had a similar idea going on when I got my hands on the Skull Sorcerer's Dragon, and noticed your dragon's head has a lot of similar ideas to what I had made.
  11. Absolutely love the tone of this piece!
  12. Sounds about right if we're using something like Marvel or Harry Potter as an example. But it really depends on Lego and the licensees and their roadmap for what's ahead. I'd love more D&D figs even if my wallet will be hurtin' again. This was the first series that I got a full set of, with many intended repeats on top! And despite having no real urge to get Red Dragon's Inn, I do feel it tempting the completionist in me.
  13. Man, I'm not finding any deals on MTS in Canada. So jealous of those US deals. If only tariffs weren't a thing....
  14. It'll probably be an ingoing license deal, but slow staggered releases since they will probably aim high with big sets and expect fans need time to 'digest' what they already have. Future might follow something similar to recent LotR releases, or how Transformers are being rolled out
  15. I noticed that set doesn't even have the wool piece, which makes it only half a sheep to me. I missed out on them on PAB the first time around, almost threw down $80 to get the barn just for sheep. Luckily I found em on Bricklink for decent price.
