Wonder if they do go that route, will it be 2 halves or a hemisphere, with a back built portion similar to the system scale versions of the gunship, since they are fully enclosed in-universe. I would think the latter, but excited to see either way Edit: Given how those pieces are, they seem perfect with both halves in a new print and internal build. I assumed incorrectly how those pieces work in the above paragraph.

Apparently a "yellow clone" per MandR tweets, which supports the deviation from the red clone mentioned in this thread. Not clear if this is a commander or a pilot... Tweet also mentions a Thursday reveal with an 8/1 release. Make of that what you will

Didn't it also come in the Republic Attack Shuttle in the CW Clone Pilot variant? Not sure about the orange bit, could it be someone just wants to have a little fun with us? Only speaking for myself, I plan to pick up 3 gunships over the time. Not right away but eventually 3 total. Big fan of the vehicle and I am confident LEGO can pull it off. Given the T2 camper van was revealed today and the little hint from Fulcrum, I hope the gunship is the next reveal from TLG!

Potential gunship info at San Diego Comic Con (At-Home)? They have revealed sets in the past at the event. Plus it is scheduled from July 23-25, which fits the "mid-Summer" advertised more news concerning this set. Just a thought, I have nothing confirmed on this beyond my own excitement and speculation.

I think it is just the Forge for now. BB Shuttle I think is Amazon? Someone can correct me. All others should be at the normal locations upon release. Edit: BB Shuttle is not an exclusive. Thank you for the correction!

Target in the US. Not sure elsewhere. I think with the SW leak, that was the actual figure from a factory leak, while the Armorer was from a catalog. So the catalog would be more likely to show the full figure. At least that is how I understand it.

I'm not sure how they could unless a winch for troops and the head / main chin cannons. The legs would be probably be too bulky to motorize with LEGO motors.

Keep them away from sunlight, heat and moisture will help a lot. They'll age, like everything else. If you can limit exposure to the above, that will go a long way in extending the life of your parts.

$800 Gunship FTW!! Jk, I hope there are still 2 more UCS sets coming this year, one being the gunship with an August VIP release, wide release on 9/1, and the other an AT-AT on Black Friday. Concerning LEGO Con, while expected Mando sets (look good, some not so good - Trexler has my attention now), I hope they do it next year and take the community feedback. Given the challenges they faced, pandemic, first time...this was fine in my opinion. I wish we did see the gunship, because I fear for the future that others will not tune in next year. First year knock it out of the park and ride that hype through year 2. If year 2 flops, there will still be excitement for year 3. Going soft on year 1...we will see what they chose to do. I like the concept but needs refinement. Sorry for the ramble.

There is really not much there. I do like the open space, but I thought there would be more space to take advantage of.

I like the look of the new Slave One. It's not perfect, but the figures are good and I want to see how it will look with 75222 - Betrayal at Cloud City. Mando Boba green color match looks a little off...will wait to see more pics, looks like a bright studio setting makes it looks brighter than it is. Something I can live with.

UCS AT-AT dark horse for the reveal! Yeah the AT-AT was revealed early from Amazon Japan I think on accident and LEGO just rolled with it, if I recall correctly.

So what do we think is going to be revealed? There was some water thrown on the gunship reveal, so given we haven't an official Mando announcement, that seems possible. Anything else? The gunship makes sense, so I really hope it is that.

Awesome! One small correction, while the minifigure is a Sullustan, it is not Nien Numb (who flew on the Falcon). Ten Numb is a B-Wing pilot.

Maybe, there are internal requirements that LEGO is constrained by as well as plastic production methods concerning mold making / design, injection molding and polymer flow that restricts the design of the parts. I don't know, but offering some potential suggestions. LEGO did, in my opinion, well, but they can certainly do better and we have seen it.
