I guess I can see it? If you hadn't mentioned it I would never notice. My opinion, as a Jew, is that this claim is ridiculous -

How does everyone feel about Fluffy now that they've seen him in person? The gray joints really bother me ngl. It's a small issue but makes a big difference. Hoping someone comes up with a clever moc around it -

I can't be the only one that actually already made a wall months ago that is practically identical to the one in the AC -

In terms of new pieces, definitely the worst AC dang! That Harry minifigure shoots way down in value. But the game element looks cute and getting Harry's squashed birthday cake is AWESOME. This AC really makes me think the D2C could still be Gringotts and/or the Leaky Cauldron. Leakers have been vague enough about what they've seen where I haven't been convinced this icons thing is actually legit. They're probably right but I'm hopefully delusional -

I usually wait til the holidays when I'm in America to buy most sets considering they're much more expensive (even with discounts!) here in Europe. But I'm definitely caving and getting the Polyjuice and Chess sets today. Happy LEGO Harry Potter Eve everyone!! Like Christmas but better Weird we haven't heard any more D2C news, no? -

Micmac, I could totally see (and would love) Gringotts looking exactly like this, only maybe a another 8-16 studs longer so it has slightly more presence -

Gonna be a bit contrarian here, but I'm a fan of the grilled pieces. I like being able to display minifigures at more irregular angles to make the scenes look more natural, and the grilled pieces are great for that. With a regular tile, all of the figures have to be placed in a very stoic formation, if you get what I mean Also wow all of your mockups are so good! -

We expected them to have to make a new Great Hall every 3-4 years tho? And this one is definitely different enough that it's still a great new addition to the line. If this Chamber of Secrets set can last us another 3 years before a third Great Hall, then imo the designers gave us our best case scenario -

Lol exactly! This is way closer to scale than almost any set we've ever gotten! -

@Guyon2002 you are a fantastic poster and leaker! But I have to disagree with you on so many things!! Polyjuice Potion Mistake -This is probably my second favorite set. What a fantastic sink. Who needs more detail on a bathroom stall?? MOC that yourself! -The Hermione cat head is utterly phenomenal. Tho I do agree that the Crabbe/Goyle hair could be better -Will be buying two of these sets for an extra Crabbe/Goyle and the super sweet Harry/Ron face prints First Flying Lesson -$30?!? How. I could see Polyjuice being $30 before this set -Happy we're finally getting a young Neville and a Remembrall. Fluffy Encounter -The one hybrid head is so funny lol. But I can understand why they did it. I don't mind one head sleeping and one head not, but at least commit to something with the third one! -Potions room is definitely meant to represent Snape's challenge and I love that so much. Fawkes -I am so mad there is a unique Dumbledore. I do not want this set. I have Hedwig, but she looks much better than this IMO. I'll probably get it discounted later just for Dumbledore. Wizard's Chess -This is the best set!!! The pieces are definitely recognizable for me, and the size is perfect. Also the board is definitely square? People were saying it wasn't. -Anyone who plays chess frequently would hate studs on these. I play chess practically everyday with my partner, and if you couldn't glide the pieces across the board, or if the bottom of the chess pieces got stuck to the stud... that would not be as fun. -That being said, these pieces better not topple over at a slight breeze. As long as they're as sturdy as regular chess pieces then I am very happy (and they look like they are). -Minifigures are spectacular. The scratch in Harry's torso is the cherry on top. And [edit] RON CAN GO ON THE HORSE!! Hogsmeade Village Visit -I don't love this as much as everyone else?? Weird they didn't find a way to put three broomsticks... that sign is bizarre. But I can MOC that ofc -The minifigures are incredible and makes this set very very worth its price Harry Potter & Hermione Granger .....Wtf is this. -I would maybe understand a separate $60 Harry set with a $120 Ron/Hermione set... First set in all of Harry Potter LEGO I will ever skip! Chamber of Secrets -My ONLY gripe with this set is Slytherin's head. They could have used brick built pieces and made that so much better. I love cartoony LEGO, but this was not the moment for that -Lockhart's classroom is impeccable. I wish they included the skeleton but that's a minor nit pick. This set is amazing, though steeply priced. All of these new era sets so far have been exterior displayed, so I am ECSTATIC about this wave. Most of these are going to be interior-displayed only, which is going to complement everything so well. LEGO and the designers seriously killed it with this wave. But if we don't get Deathly Hallows sets next year... we riot! -

I love that everyone has different favorites. I'll probably change my mind 100 times! For me, the new torsos in the Chess set take it to the next level. And I think the pieces match the ones in the movie so well. It's not exact but it's the LEGO-fied version. And the price per piece is fantastic -

Everyone putting the chess set on the bottom of their lists?? It was my least favorite going into the leaks, and oh my god is it now my favorite. I think it's utterly perfect. The scale is just right where it is displayable and playable. I do hope Ron can ride the Knight though. The Flying Lesson (an exterior I can put with my 2018-2020 sets!!), Girls Bathroom, and Chamber Sets are all fantastic. The latter two will look awesome with the interiors displayed on the shelf below my 2018-2020 sets. Am I the only one underwhelmed by Honeydukes? Most definitely passing on the brick built figures and maybe even Fawkes, and that's coming from a completionist since 2001. Also these robes!!! What a great day. This set would be a buy for me if they included Ron. It feels so wrong without him! I very very likely will not get this unless Ron is released later. Is there anyone else that feels the same? -

Hi everyone! I've been lurking on Eurobricks for like 10 years now- since the end of the last LEGO HP era. Finally decided to make an account. This new era has been absolutely incredible, and I'm probably in the minority saying I'm so excited for these anniversary sets. The first few waves had amazing exteriors, but we're definitely lacking some fully fleshed out interiors, and this Chamber of Secrets set has incredible potential. Been a (near) completionist since the very first wave, so the nostalgia factor definitely affects me. I will say though, we better get some Deathly Hallows sets in the 2018-2020 Hogwarts aesthetic next year! IMO, the only rationalization for a $250 "buildable object" set would be a life size Nimbus 2000 (but that might require more than $250 worth of pieces), or at least 10-20 wands of the major characters. But I'm thinking broomstick. Anyways, mega thanks to all of you for providing such great content over the many many dry years. And an even bigger thanks to the recent leakers. I'm sure there are many more like me that have never said anything, but are so grateful!
