  1. We're just waiting on an update. Sandy's had a busy schedule these last few days. We'll probably get back up to speed soon.
  2. Althior turns to the entryway to the surface. "Let's get this over with already," He begins to lead the party to Vega. Walbartan heals herself.
  3. Althior listened intently to Eric's story, then listened to the Dockmaster. He was younger than fourteen his first time. That was right when he was abandoned in the world; right before he got involved with the dark arts. And with the dark arts came them... He quickly snapped out of his trance before he could be scarred further and turned to the Dockmaster. "I, for one, am not overly interested in challenging you. And seeing as I don't hear a great interest for it, I think we should be off, as long as no one else has any qualms about leaving," He turns to Walbartan, "I know you said that you had some herbs to collect and other business to conduct, but a healer would be greatly appreciated. You're welcome to join us, ma'am," Walbartan heals Nur and Althior.
  4. "In fact, there is something you could do for us. We still have some business to attend to, but, if it would be possible when we return, to arrange a voyage back to Eubric? It would be greatly appreciated, my dear sir,"
  5. Althior looks towards his party. "Indeed, let us return to Dim Haven with the boy," He turns to Orokai. "And you are indeed welcome to join us if you wish, sir." Althior then turns towards the dwarf, promptly grabbing him by the shirt and violently shoving him against a nearby tree. "Now, if you try anything like that again you little twerp I will drop you so fast you won't know what hit you. This is not a democracy; you don't get to do whatever the hell you please under my watch. I was placed as your leader because I get results. So quit acting like you know anything. You're here because, for some reason, you think you're a hero. I don't enjoy being stuck with you any more than you do, but try another stunt like that again and I will have no hesitation to leave your corpse with the Wolfgang scum that's after us," He lets go of the dwarf. He says, still glaring at him. "Am I understood? Shape up and start acting like you're a hero," He turns back to the rest of his party. "Shall we? Lead the way, Sarge. We can talk about our Wolfgang problem later,"
  6. "Well I'll be damned..." Battle Order Sarge drops a smoke bomb Everyone else runs like hell.
  7. Althior uses Lightning on the Metal Jawed Mutant from the back row. Walbartan attempts to heal herself from the back row. Skinny Joe, Reptilian Mutant, Red-Clad Mutant, Scaly Mutant, and Barghest all attack the blind mutant. Battle Order Specified Undead Orokai Eric Sarge Walbartan Althior Nur Earthen Shield Althior laughs at the Dwarf. "We have an army on our side, dwarf. Get your head on straight and realize you have no power over us," He would surely enjoy putting the dwarf in his place.
  8. Such an amazing creation. I love all the Arkham references all over the place, and the details are superb as well. Favorite bits include Scarecrow, Poison Ivy, and the Crime Alley scene. Keep up the good work!
  9. Althior disregards the dwarf's pleas. The fool would get himself killed, and he did not care. Althior, Loewe, and Dorothea all repeat their actions. Skinny Joe attacks the big eyed mutant. Walbartan attacks the Horned mutant from the front row. Battle Order Undead Orokai Eric Walbartan Nur Sarge Althior
  10. Althior looked towards the hostages, who seemed to preoccupied to make their way to the rest of the party. He rolled his eyes as he turned to the rest of the party. "We fight until we can get to them. Then we flee," Althior uses Darkness on the Blind Mutant from the back row. The three undead target the Red Clad mutant. Walbartan attacks Barghest from the front row Battle Order Undead Eric Sarge Walbartan Althior Nur Orokai In case he needs to be in the battle order. I believe a smoke bomb lets everyone leave the battle, unless there was a recent rule change I am not aware of.
  11. As the large green being vaulted over the perimeter, Althior hurried with his melting of the hinges. As he finished, he brought his finger back in pain. he had indeed applied a lot of heat to the gate. He quickly beckoned for his companions to follow him ad he busted through the gates. As they entered the ruins, Althior unleashed his scepter, pointing back and forth between the large goblinesque figure and numerous mutants, having troubles deciding on who to threaten. He eventually settled on the brute. "Back away from the cage, if you'd be so kind. You may carry out your business once we've gone, but I've had about enough of you mutants for a while," "I'm thinking you may have made a mistake, sir. I'm not sure we'll like him when he's angry." Finnegan glanced towards the brute clenching his sword. "Well, angrier anyways..."
  12. Althior thought on Nur's words. Perhaps he was right. Some people just wanted to see the world burn, perhaps. Not everyone was as pure and misunderstood as he could have hoped. Not everyone deserved chances, maybe. Althior pondered his options, holding his head in hands. He stared off into the distance. He'd made mistakes in the past, but was this one of them? Did they deserve life? Maybe, perhaps, not everyone deserved the second chance he had been blessed with. Without a word, he made his way towards the gate, attempting to melt the hinges at the expense of one ether. If that did not work, he would attempt to go at the hinges with his pickaxe. He'd had enough of pondering over options. You make choices and you live with them, he thought. If things went south, he'd just have to learn to live with it. It undoubtedly wasn't the worst thing he'd done.
  13. That could probably work. I know Skrall has/had a wife at one point, but she was never introduced to the game. Arthur had some backstory at one point with an on again/off again significant other through his backstory. I think she came to Eubric once. I haven't done it, but I know some people have.
  14. That was actually really early in the game if memory serves correctly. I don't even remember why it happened in the first place.
  15. "We should at least give them a chance. It's not their fault they are like this," Althior turned to the rest of the party. This quest was already off course, and he knew more time couldn't be wasted on subtlety. "We go in. We try and reason with them. If they're not to be reasoned with, then we can fight. But we're not murderers. We're supposed to be heroes. I can hear children from out here. Those who don't fight are left as they are. There will be no massacre under my watch." Althior store towards the flag. He'd done enough murdering without reason for a life time. The possibility of genocide was new to him. Everything he stood for, everything he was; he would not allow that. He had more blood on his hands already. More than anyone knew. He wasn't the bad guy. He turned back to his ragtag party. "Any objection, or should we get the hell on in there already?" It was time that their mission get on track. They had a job that needed to be done, and it needed to be done quickly.
  16. "Don't bother, Nur," Althior urges Sarge to use his compass to find the way.
  17. A small smile forms on Althior's face. "Thank you," He simply states. He turns back to the party. "The ruins of Transmogria. That's where they are. If memory serves correctly, that is directly south of Vega. We shall follow the road to Vega and make haste to the ruins. We can stop in the City after we rescue the boy, then make our way back to Dim Haven."
  18. "Why, hello there. Yes, well, sorry about that whole killing thing, but actually it was that large brute over there," He gestures to Eric, "And I did in fact warn you about fighting us. So that one's kind of on you," Althior can tell he's getting nowhere with the spirits, and can tell that his party thinks he's gone mad. "Well, alright then. I am very truly sorry you had to die," Althior drops his voice to a whisper, "I know how painful it is. Dying. But it's not as painful as coming back. I know that you were probably just doing what you were told to do, and for that I am sorry. But I know there should be some good inside of you that lets us go and rescue the two that your companions took from us. Besides, don't you want the people who sent you to your death to suffer? Or at least know what you went through? Or the people who abandoned you to die to suffer? So please, please, where did your two 'friends' go?"
  19. Althior: Pickaxe, Metal Claw Eric: Pitchfork of Abomination, Small Spiked Club, Leather Whip Nur: Poisonous Rod, Lock & Chain, All Decamon Cards Sarge: Wooden Spear, Spark Hammer, Ranger’s Quiver Althior looks around, with neither the boy nor the dwarf in sight. He turns to the party, "Now, if anyone really wants these cards, take it up with Nur. I figured he can have them all at the moment, seeing as he's the only one here who seems to give a damn about them." He turns back, overseeing the carnage caused by the battle, and attempt to use Spiritism to speak with one or more of the mutants spirits. I'll wait to see if this works before actually asking any questions. I'm not actually sure if this trait has been used before.
  20. Battle Order Undead Sarge Eric Walbartan Sarge Eric Althior Nur The undead attack the three eyed mutant. Walbartan and Althior repeat their attacks.
  21. "Let us begin then," Althior uses Darkness on the Cyclopean Mutant from the back row. Walbartan attacks the Slack Jawed mutant from the front row. Loewe and Dorothea attack the One-Winged Mutant Skinny Joe attacks the Moss Skinned Mutant Battle Order Loewe Dorothea Skinny Joe Sarge Eric Walbartan Sarge Eric Althior Nur Throlar
  22. Althior holds back Throlar from attacking the mutants head on. "Don't be an idiot, dwarf. Let's at least try to talk to them first. If that doesn't work, then you can have your fun," As much as he'd enjoy to see the dwarf get a well deserved beating, he'd already lost one member of his party on this trip. He stepped out in front of the mutants, weapons in hand. "Let the kid go, please. It would be a shame if I got these gloves dirty. I mean, I just got the last group of idiot's blood off of my hands," At this rate, Babeleth was a lifetime away and he wouldn't be able to handle a lifetime with these buffoons.
  23. Loot Althior: 20 gold, Nostrum Eric: 20 gold, Health Core, Smelling Salts Nur: 20 gold, Ether Core, Mead Sarge: 10 gold Throlar: 20 gold, Lions Plate Althior rolled his eyes. Yet another problem on this seemingly endless journey he'd have to solve. However, gaining the dockmasters trust could indeed be beneficial in the long run. "We'll find him." It would give him more time to figure out a plan to fend off the wolfgang. They were indeed more cunning than he had originally thought. Ulric would be mad to continue his crusade without his three pawns. But perhaps they were, in fact, only pawns. "Now, where would your brother be heading? Vega perhaps?" Walbartan heals Althior and Sarge
  24. I was waiting to use an incense, which I just did. I didn't want to revive someone when I knew someone else would go right down and I'd have to waist an incense. I also didn't see Nur remedy Walbartan until just now either.
  25. Crap I didn't see that Nur remedied Walbartan. The three undead attack Tinkerman as Althior quickly drops a phoenix incense. Walbartan heals Althior from the back row. Battle Order Althior Eric Undead Sarge Nur Walbartan Throlar
