  1. "I understand, my friend, and I do not think you insane for it. I know what it is like to hallucinate in death. I thought I was dead for years, but it turned out only to be a hallucination; an ordeal created by the people I thought I could trust. In order to 'better' me, they said." He trails off before snapping back into the conversation. "You surely know Helvetia is perceived by mortals to be an Icy Woman; the Frostheart, I believe they call her. Your vision makes sense, and your response was logical. My experience, well, it was different. I would like to believe that I also responded to it logically, but perhaps I did not. Though we are alike in many aspects, Sorrow, it is apparent that we are different in just as many. I don't think either of our paths is superior to the others, but I do believe that they have each formed us into who we are today,"
  2. I know what you mean. Whenever I have some free time, I basically stalk the forums until someone replies. It's not healthy, but I've got nothing better to do. The thing is, I'd have loved to go on #138, #139, or #140, but #137 was, as you said, too good of a fit to pass up.
  3. "I myself am not really a man of faith, Sorrow," Althior states. "When I was resurrected, I didn't think it was the work of Helvetia; it was simply the work of some Necromancer. I believed as though I had owed it to this so-called Necromancer to continue his craft; to allow other the second chances I myself was allowed. I am a man of business, Sorrow. I believe in debt. Now don't get me wrong, I believe in the gods, but I have not worshiped them until as of late. Once I found out the, well, odd circumstances of my revival, I felt as though I had owed something to the deity that had allowed me to continue life. And thus, I am here," Althior didn't really want to go into the specifics. Some things had to remain sacred, did they not? "How long have you followed Helvetia, Sorrow? Quite possibly a few hundred years I'm guessing..."
  4. You do have a habit of including some mouthy NPCS. Though #79 is still one of my favorite quests, those Oculoids never shut up Even though posts aren't everything to a quest (quality over quantity), when Lind has a 100 posts more than a clearly active member of the party (in this case, Warlen), then I think there's a problem of show-stealing, so to speak.
  5. I wouldn't say that's necessarily a bad thing in general. Kinto and I have around the same number of posts in #137 as of right now, and I don't feel as though it's an issue (though if it is, feel free to call me out on it ). Perhaps since #138 has all of the general QM posts (NPCs, battles), and Sandman replying, then Endgame should probably have more in general.
  6. I don't know if you've posted this in the theatre topic, but you really should. I know you and I have both done this a little bit, and it does make quests really hard to read. I've basically given up on trying to read #138 because every other post is Lind trying to correct someone else. You can definitely use a quest to further your character quite a bit, but at the same time still have it not be all about them. I think that's why I enjoyed Quest #79 so much; Kinto and I both definitely had our moments, bu neither of us attempted to one-up the other. Each person should be able to come into the spotlight in their own way, and when you have one person who's hogging said spotlight, the quest is no fun for anyone else. In think Miirym's fine as is. The text color suits her, and it's not totally over the top. I know I've changed up Finnegan's a few times throughout the years to try and dumb it down, so to speak. I wouldn't however, seeing as when I read this I couldn't tell it was a different font color.
  7. Althior rolls his eyes. "Splitting up it is I suppose. Vind, perhaps you should follow our dwarven friend so as to not get into too much trouble. Sorrow and I can head to the temple of Helvetia, then meet up with you two in the alley way,"
  8. Althior chuckles. "Always have a way to put it into elegant phrases, don't you Vind?"
  9. Damn I forgot how much of a thriller that one was. It's a bit screwy and probably not for everyone, but I definitely enjoyed it. As for me, I rewatch MI4: Ghost Protocol in preparation for the new film tomorrow. Definitely my favorite of the series, especially with Jeremy Renner. Really hoping the new one can live up to this film.
  10. When I went last week, that exact thing happened to me. He came out with three cases and asked me how many I wanted.
  11. "Let him bleed," Althior states, simply yet sternly. Althior smirks. "I should look into it," Finnegan gives him a death glare.
  12. "We'll look into the matter. Business is business, after all," is all Althior says. He chuckles. "Keeping this dwarf under control is no easy task, sir,"
  13. Althior grasps the dwarf by the arm. "We don't need any, well, clearly powerful enemies dammit!" "Honestly, does he think about anything he has done?"
  14. Are there any negative repercussions should we fail a side quest? Does our reputation go down? Althior stand back, looking over the events that unfold. He remains silent, before he turns away, whispering to Sorrow. "The way I see it, either way we get a reward. We find this dealer and she's saved, and if we can't, she dies, and we get our reward from these," he glances back, "fine gentlemen," he pauses for a moment. "This Sniper intrigues me, however. Looking for him may hold bountiful results, both spiritually and monetarily." he smirks.
  15. Anyways, I used to have a joke based character like you until I took an arrow to the knee, but I thought there were points where he was either to gimmicky or too bipolar. Althior and Finnegan were always cracking jokes off of one another, but that personality didn't seem to fit once they got to some heavy hitting plots.
  16. I think Autorazr posted a Mystique like that a while back. The new BW hairpiece looks good!
  17. Mine was the same. I saw a few new Ninjago sets and got optimistic, but then discovered I was wrong
  18. There are lots of time IGN just says whatever the hell they want to. I wouldn't expect a direct tie-in with the film. Not because the source material is too gritty, but because there's no way kids will buy a set with all bad guys and no Batman/JLA (even though Batman is in the film, it's probably just one small scene). I could see a Batman set with Harley/Boomerang/Deadshot, though, that are semi-based on the film.
  19. If he does keep talking with the rat, could you move the rest of us along? He could just follow us when he's done with his inquisition since he'd arrive at the same time of day, right? Althior waits impatiently, with Finnegan pacing behind him back and forth. "The damned creature won't give you anything. Can we move along?"
  20. Hoping you're right. I checked yesterday and still had nothing. I'll check tomorrow though! Aaaaaaaaaaaaand it must be 99.9% since mine didn't have it in the stockroom nor on the shelves.
  21. Her only major appearance is in Mask of the Phantasm, an animated film that's part of the DCAU from '93. I definitely recommend a watch, seeing as it's (IMO) the best Batman story brought to film. Maybe tied with TDK, but it's close for me. Looking nice!
  22. Heroica doesn't have a vault. You can trade your items however you want, and if that's giving them to another character, then so be it
  23. The Ghosts Cowl and cape (#7) would be perfect for Phantasm.
  24. Hey, I still remember when Crozen Porthiar was the toughest of the tough on Quest #5 with 100 HP.
