  1. I picked up two Carnage sets from Target yesterday, and I'll probably head back over to Target tomorrow to see if I can't find Sandman.
  2. Come on, everyone was thinking of doing it. Lind's monologues will keep him preoccupied.
  3. The fact that you can get "banned" so to speak is a bit discerning. I was going to send an order for a cracked torso (one that I have not used and left on display for a few months), but now I'm hesitant... I don't really want to spend $15 USD+ on another figure just for the torso that could quite possibly crack again. It's coming to the point where I'm spending just as much on replacement parts as I am on sets, which is not a good thing for me. This year has been absolutely horrible with my Superheroes figures; to the point where most of them have a crack of some form. Most of the replacements I've gotten have been through BL, but I probably have sent three or four orders through S@H for replacements (these were just single piece orders). I did see someone on flickr who had an order with three heads and probably six or seven torsos from the Justice League wave of sets. Now there's someone who's clearly abused the system... See, the thing is that I have some misprints, but they are very anticlimactic. For example, I've gotten a Poison Ivy with some weird eye shadow, but it's neither interesting nor something I needed replaced.
  4. Fine by me. I just want to know the layout of the town before deciding my/our next move.
  5. Map? "Very well, we'll look around,"
  6. Yes. When it comes to my pieces, I am especially picky. Lots of the time, if it's a cheap part, I'll go to BL to get it. However, if it's A) a clear misprint B) a cracked part C) an expensive part to replace then I go to TLG. I've never felt guilty about asking for another sticker sheet if I screw up because, well, it's a sticker sheet. I've definitely been in your shoes where I feel a little bit guilty and would feel better sending back the misprinted part, though, but luckily we have great customer service with our hobby.
  7. 70817, 70818, and a few Mixels from the LEGO Store at the Mall of America. There was also a secondhand LEGO seller there who sold me a CMF Series 5 Boxer for $4.99 USD.
  8. "Ether overdose, you say?" Althior states, curiously. Surely someone who had been restored by Ethereth himself could be victim of such condition. However, he realized, that may defeat the purpose of being restored in the first place. Althior scans the girl. It was unfortunate that she was dying in the first place, but obviously being undead could work itself out. "Have you heard were we could find this seller? I'd rather we had a lead instead of blindly searching the whole damned city,"
  9. "If we're the first people to talk to you, you really shouldn't turn us away. As Sorrow said, this isn't a matter to take lightly. Besides, what's in it for us?"
  10. I totally forgot I was eligible for that. Maybe I should get on that.
  11. If this were a discussion thread about the film, then I'd agree. However, if some people (like me) are coming through here looking for info on the U.S. Release of the summer Spider-Man sets, they shouldn't have to navigate a ton of posts about (non)spoilers for the film.
  12. "Well...." Althior ponders the girls request "Like Sorrow said, it's very hard to restore you to full mental capacity. We don't have any Last Wish Powder with us, which makes it much more difficult. Althior, by the way,"
  13. "Not really... He shouldn't be too much of a problem, however. If he fell to the dwarf, he'll fall to us." he chuckles
  14. Althior quickly stumbles back to avoid the girls vomit "Charming..." "Me and Throlar. Our contact hired him to take us out last winter. We finished him easily,"
  15. Althior tosses the man 15 gold for a map. "Pleasure," he states, moving towards Sorrow. "This might help to find you know who," he makes a point not to mention the name Makepeace, just to be safe.
  16. I had a similar experience at the premier for Age of Ultron. I also saw Ant Man. It was very good, though some moments are a bit ridiculous, but in a good way.
  17. Agreed. If you stil want the fake elf angle, you could go with the CMF Elf hair. Even if Lind isn't blonde, it could be a wig. Or perhaps the new hair from the Elves line?
  18. You could turn one of them into Mal'e'flak (or however the hell you spell it)
  19. Althior makes his way towards the man under the stairs. "What are you selling?"
  20. If sales are good enough, we might get a very small second wave (like we did Cars). I'm 99% sure his will just be one wave, however.
  21. I think you just need to be able to carry a staff. I won't be the one to mention that any hero that can absorb an element can basically create their own healing weapon (for example Althior could get an earth elemental dagger or Hoke could get a poisoned sword)
  22. Now let's get on those Overkill Gloves.
  23. Althior rolls his eyes. "As someone in a position of power I'd think you'd know the town. Evidently not..." He looks to the rest of his party. "Shall we head to the residential district? It might benefit us to get the lay of the land from the townsfolk,"
  24. "Perhaps in the Residential district? He never said there wasn't one,"
