  1. Althior puts his drink down. This was a favorite of his friend, Arasmyth. He smiled before realizing that Arasmyth was gone. He took another sip in Arasmyth's name. He wouldn't let anyone else die if he could help it. He looks over to Ellaria and laughs. "Don't tell me you've never had a drink before? Whatever do you order from Scheherazade?"
  2. Althior tosses 45 gold on the table. "Three Hurricanes if you would,"
  3. "I'd be up for a drink before the dress rehearsal starts. A bit of relaxation before all hell breaks loose."
  4. Went to the Lego store yesterday to pick up 79109 and 10 Series 10 figs (2x Baseball Player, 2x Mechanic, 2x skydiver, 1x Decorator and 3x Roman). Also got the Iron Man polybag with my purchase.
  5. But Yes, I saw the film and enjoyed it as much if not more than the first.
  6. Althior looked around "Refresh my memory, would you? What is Lord Chauncey's involvement with this show?"
  7. Althior looks at the horses, realizing there are only three, and there are four heroes. "One of us will have to walk, there aren't enough horses" Althior reaches into his pocket and pulls out his Amulet of the Elven Horse Rider. "I can walk, you three take the horses."
  8. Yes, the woman had lost her child and that was an extremely tragic case, but Althior face did not move at all. His emotions did not change. He simply watched Ellaria break down before he spoke. "A night at the theater will have much good for you. You should be distracted from all this." Now he spoke the truth, for Althior had escaped his terrible years after his families death by frequenting any theater he could. He felt like he was in a different world, one where he was the one who knew everyone's outcome, not the one who was second guessing themselves.
  9. Althior walks up to the group, examining each and every one of them. The group makes for an overall menacing party. The Beserker would suit their needs well, the druid was a good healer, much better than Althior, and (though he was pained to even think it) Gibbin could actually have use in his life. He realizes Ellaria is speaking to him and turns. "Hmm? Oh, yes! I hope the path of Necromancy will suit me well. I know it will work better than that showy Sage demeanor I'd been hiding behind for so long." He changes the subject, "Anyways, have you had any luck in finding your child? I hope her absence will not continue much longer."
  10. I'm both hoping and afraid that with his new personality Althior and Atramor will hit it off.
  11. Agreed. Can't wait to see what happens with Althior and Atramor. Plus it's a Zeph quest, so that should be fun.
  12. Althior examines Johon closely. "I, met you? I must have been drunk to talk to someone like-" He stops, for he knows something could end up broken, though he believes Johon gets the picture. He smiles, sheepishly, before he gets up and sees his name selected along with others. One name catches his eye. Gibbin. "You must be kidding me..." He mutters. He returns to Johon. "Refresh my memory, would you? How exactly did we meet?" "Says the guy with a huge cart dragging behind him..." "Trust me, I'd abandon him if I could. Waist of time, space, and money. He downed an entire jug of ale out at the docks! And don't get me started..." He trails off "He can't leave me because I'm liked so much. I must be some running gag somewhere..."
  13. "Abomination! Why I should..." Althior laughs at the bar and takes a swig of his drink. "Blame those who can't think of any good dialogue for me."
  14. Althior wandered back into the hall, figuring he'd had quite enough isolation at this time. Before he made his way up to the bar, he looked at the quest board, realizing a new(er) quest had been posted, he signed his name under Quest #68. As a youth, he'd always adored the theater, and a connection to his past may be just what he needed. With Finnegan trailing behind him, he wandered up the stairs and sat at the bar, wondering who he may see.
  15. Althior starts to grin. "I'd say I'm doing a pretty marvelous job, it seems. I'm teaching you a lesson. The lesson that hate and misery should fuel you to strive to be greater heroes. By trying to remedy hate and sadness, you are only destroying what should fuel your strife. You'll feel so good about yourself that you'll be blind to real treachery in the world." Althior looks at the hustle of heroes moving around the hall and makes a great personality change. He grips Sorrow by the shoulders and speaks to him, as if he is giving instructions. "You mist widen your gaze. I'm concerned you underestimate the gravity of these coming times. Behind your mask of "logic" I sense a fragility. That worries me. You must understand that my actions are beyond your control now." He stands up. "In time, I hope you will understand this is all necessary." Althior then continues down the stairs and out the doors into the city.
  16. "Your face? Well, I shouldn't really be talking..." "I have not abused anybody, but I have merely attempted to open their eyes to a harsh world." He closes his eyes for a moment before boldly stating. "That was my mistake."
  17. Well, Althior's narcissistic qualities never allowed him to have more than five or six friends.
  18. Althior places his hands on the table and takes a deep breath, his body shaking with adrenaline. "I've discovered now I don't have the luxury of friends..."
  19. Too much? I was actually planning on taking it farther once 66 leaves, but if it's become redundant already...
  20. "Do you not understand? I'm trying to be good. I'm on a conquest to rid this world of crime and deceit, yet none of you can realize that." Althior had to keep up this act. He knew going into Necromancy he'd be isolated from others, and that he wouldn't be accepted. His beliefs were coming true. "How did you know about the screaming and shouting? Weren't we down at the Marketplace?" Althior looks over to Haldor. "I was fool then, Shaman. Thinking that life was swell and that there was light in this world. There's not. There's nothing of the sort. Life is full of misery and tragedy. I'm trying to change that." He leans down to Haldors ear, whispering, "I am a greater hero than you ever will be, nord." Althior stands back up. "I hope you know how much of an imbecile you are. The most miserable thing in my life right now is how I'm wasting my precious time speaking with you." He turns away from Haldor. Finnegan leans over towards Haldor, "Look, I've known Althior longer than you, and you are his only true friend. Something about him is different. Hell, I'm not even sure if that's Althior anymore..." He pauses, "Just give him a chance..." "At least I have some self respect..." "Finally we agree on something!"
  21. Just wait until I get my undead army. Your silly poisons will be worthless.
  22. "Of course, I am merely stating that he should not get himself killed over an elven broad who does not know the definition of the word love. And besides, he and I still have a life to live opposed to whatever the hell you are." "Sir, I believe that's enough-" "Be quiet, Finnegan! You're no different from Sorrow. You're a floating gas and an overall mistake, nothing more." Finnegan cowers behind Arthur, obviously hurt. Althior pays no attention. "Arthur! You are both going to die! Get that through your thick skull! She cares nothing for you! Your deaths will be for nothing, just like mine was!" He chases after him. Was he doing this so that he could go back to Alexis? He had to keep telling himself no. He was trying to save a life.
  23. "Yes. I learned from my mistakes. I am merely stating that Regulus here should not be so blind and stupid as I was. I'm trying to save his soul from it's demise. It is a serious matter, and he is to blind to see how Alexis could end up getting him killed,"
  24. Aww shucks... Well, I didn't really know how to RP in a strictly battle based environment.
  25. Finnegan's available.
