Althior repeats his action.
-
Althior throws an ice spell at Iron Scorpion B from the back row.
-
"Stains? We're fighting huge, most likely poisonous scorpions and you're worried about stains?" "And I thought I was the odd one," "You're a floating sack full of gems and crap. You are the odd one,"
-
Althior steps back, looking at the bloody gash on his arm. He's had worse. "They're Iron scorpions. Probably some work of an alchemist. Not unusual," Althior repeats his action.
-
Did you do a separate roll for the 1/6 Chance of the Cursed effect? Althior repeats his action.

Althior attempts to freeze Iron Scorpion A from the back row.

I was actually thinking of how to do some BttF funnies and that last one was on my list. All of them made me laugh. Nice job!

"Althior Emorith, Dragonslayer, at your service. Now tell me, how large is the settlement? And if it's not too large, couldn't you just call for someone to let you back in?"
-
"Whoever said I would pick it?" He grins. "Please, are you implying you'll pull it apart like that girl is hopelessly attempting to? You don't have any muscles..." "I do have arms, thought, unlike some people,"
-
Althior steps forward to the other group. "Excuse me, dear sirs and miss. My companions and I were just passing by, trying to get through this forest, and saw you. That gate seems to be in all of our ways," He puts on a fake smile. Lord, how he hated smiling. But he was putting on a decent charade, he thought. "Now, do you need any help with that , then, miss?"
-
"Well, we all have our fair share of experience here. I'll throw my name in as well, seeing as I believe I have the most experience with the Ziegfrieds and in general," "Johon, how about using that Magic Compass of yours? Could be of some use here,"
-
Finnegan leans over to Althior and whispers. "You know she has no idea what you're talking about, right?" "Of course, I'm just trying to be polite," "Please Althior. We both know you never try to be polite." Althior rolls his eyes.
-
Althior laughs "Oh, Finnegan? Yes, yes. He's the floating sack to the left." "I'm more than just a floating sack. " "Of course. It's my attempt at humor. I guess Aura's don't get jokes. Who'd have thought it? Anyways, his name is Finnegan. He's an aura-type, thing. He probably has some sort of species, but I just call him an aura." "It stands for Amazing, Under-appreciated, Rare, and Actually very intelligent." "You forgot to factor Annoying in there somewhere, old sport," Finnegan rolls his eyes, or he would, if he had eyes.
-
"See for yourself. Do I look like an average man." The gentle breeze makes his suit blow around as he looks to the witch with a dead look in his eyes. "But yes, I am Althior Emorith, as you suspected," "I do have a question. How good is the view from the mountains? I'll be taking that into account before we make a decision..." Althior sighs. "Finnegan, stop making a fool of yourself..." "Aww but come on! There's probably some pretty good loot up there since it's a more difficult trek! " "Only you would think of it like that, Finnegan." "Me and all the loot loving players heroes in this game world," Althior turns back to Goldraum. "A pleasure to be of service to you again, Master Ziegfried. I myself have no questions."
-
Althior walks, slowly, into the light, taking off his hood, "Johon, or whatever your name is," He turns to the other woman, "I don't believe that we've met, but, you do remind me of someone I saw at this very mansion almost a year ago. Really, the resemblance is uncanny..." He trails off admiring the resemblance between Karie and Violetta. "Anyways, you seem to be looking like a witch. Which assuming I'm right," He stops, "Wait, I'm always right! You can make more use of rat queen's cape than I." Stats look good. But is the lack of party leader intentional?

Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sarah Jane Adventures...
K-Nut replied to The Kid's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Plus he was in The Fires of Pompeii. Not as big of a deal, but still. I personally really like this choice. Even if he's been involved with this show and Torchwood in the past. -
Althior notices a floating piece of paper in the dark, He takes the kitchen knife he's twirling between his fingers and stabs it through the paper into the table. He quickly writes his name down and draws the knife, watching the paper float away.

Althior signs his name under Quest #80.

Althior walks into the hall after many weeks and signs up for Quest #79. He then continues up the stairs to sit isolated away in a corner, flipping a kitchen knife through his fingers as he tips his chair back against the wall, obviously wanting no part of any events occuring in the hall.

Great use of Medusa's hair for the first one, and is that a crack I see on Buzz's torso?
-
"Speechless." "The hell do you care about this, Gibbin?" He turns back to the knights with no mocking tone in his voice but one of curiosity. "How exactly would you plan to take them down anyways? There's no possible way you could beat them head on even if you got all the knight's here with you, which is unlikely in itself. None of you have reputation with them to get in and stab them in the back." Althior chuckles a bit, "Now I'm curious! What is your plan? I'm just dying to know now..."
-
"Wow, that guy has the ears of a hawk. Kinda creepy if you think about it." "Of course, Atramor. I did those things, but they were in the past. I've learned from my mistakes and moved on. Of all people, I had assumed you would be one of the few to understand that,"
-
"Wow, that hurts," Althior rolls his eyes, "I hope you realize how blind you are not to see it, dwarf. And I am an idiot? You're kind can never even approach my level of knowledge." Finnegan leans over to the dwarf. "Don't worry, you'll warm up to him eventually. It's only taken me about a year and a half,"

Althior and Finnegan sit at the bar as Althior starts admiring his new upgraded staff. He drinks nothing, and sits for hours after returning from the market. Every voice in the room penetrates his mind. As Benji storms out of the bar with a gloved hand, there is no reaction from Althior. He continues to stare at his Scepter for hours until one comment catches his attention. Althior turns around to face the older man. He laughs, mocking their little "organization". He speaks up, both infuriated and amused by them. "Really? You think you can take down the Wolfgang? A couple inexperienced knights? Ha! Even the veteran's themselves couldn't take down that organization if they tried. And who deems them as bad? They merely want a place in this city. And I could care less if they got it or not. But going to say that you need to take them down is along the lines of me forming a group and going to take out the Town Watch. It doesn't happen. And it will never happen. So, do yourselves a favor, and live a little while longer and do some good instead of trying to take them down. I don't care if it happens when you cross paths, but sitting here plotting to take them down does no good," Althior begins to turn back to the bar when he remembers Haldor having also been in the Wolfgang's favor. "Haldor, Friend! You agree with me, correct?" He begins to make his way towards the nord. "I have a bad feeling about this..."

Seeing that the questions from those at his table had stopped, Althior made a dash for the market. There, he sells his pointy hat, his venom's, smoke bomb, elemental bombs, shovel, Amulet of the Elven Horse Rider, Phoenix Essence, and Royal Dagger. (690+40+8+2+45+5+10+25+50=875) He then heads to Fabien and buys an Ethereal Cloak, (875-220=655) and gets his scepter upgraded to WP 12 (655-60-70-80-90-100-110-120=25) He leaves the market with 25 gold remaining in his pocket. For the Amulet, I used a suggested price that Xander had been given for the same item a few pages back.
