I think you can be happy in the fact that no video game made in the 2020s will be spreading "far-right" (or even centre-right) propaganda. Being anti-SJW does not make one "far-right," it is actually a natural backlash to practically every single video game, movie, TV show, etc. pushing far-left messaging (but because this is considered the norm, it is never questioned or pushed back on). Being for the marketplace of ideas and free discussion is actually one of the most liberal things a person can be. This is why I hope Hogwarts Legacy is being developed by people tolerant of multiple viewpoints, so that it is free of any political slant (whether left or right).

The other night I dreamt that the D2C was called "Ultimate Hogwarts Castle" and it was a minifigure-sized castle with the Great Hall with a giant Christmas tree in, the Gryffindor Common Room with the boy's and girl's dormitories and a few other rooms. The minifigure selection was DH Part II-based.

I'm perched. I hope you're legit because lots of people will be hanging on your promise. I don't want any Hogwarts Legacy sets, that has never sounded appealing to me. However, I am sooo excited for the game and am sad we have to wait another year for it. I would be happy to learn that there's diversity of thought amongst the team working there.

I'm taking a break from checking about Lego HP because it's bordering on becoming unhealthy. What will be will be. See you guys soon when we hopefully have seen some stuff officially, and perhaps have some info. ♥️

They started doing it because people steal them, but we'd get told off for feeling them anyway because of you know what.

My local one has a shelf full. They are in plastic security boxes, though.

Book and film 3 is one of the best IMO. I think Sirius' death wasn't sad in the film but it was in the book. I liked him as character and he did have quite a big role in books 4 (somewhat) and 5.

Don't you think Hogsmeade shows that they still understand how to make attractive, movie-acurate sets, though?

In the film I looove that scene with the flashbacks. In the book it never really stuck out to me, for good or bad.

My Moments sets took about 2-3 weeks to arrive in January.

What scene do they mean?

I wonder if there's a fifth set for June we haven't seen. We usually get 5 sets.

One thing that's bothering me is that it looks like the Basilisk and Fluffy won't even fit inside their subsequent builds.

I just don't know what to think anymore. When we see the final pictures of the sets (including the interiors and minifigs) I might love them. I'm just really anxious about the August sets and the D2C.

I always thought 250 seemed a bit high for Gringotts. I think 150-180 would be spot on.

Well here's hoping we get another would-be-leaker who hits the nail on the head with his suggestion.

I feel like we knew Diagon Alley was coming ages before September last year, like literally months, so maybe we will find out the name/theme of this year's D2C in the not too distant future.

The more I think about these sets the more horrified I am. The 2018-2020 sets were (with a few exceptions) beautiful, and although interiors were often lacking, some sets struck a nearly perfect balance (such as the Burrow and 4 Privet Drive). Clearly Lego knows that quality builds that also serve as playsets appeal to both demographics (kids and adult collectors) due to the success of the sets so far. They still seem to understand this appeal by looking at Hogsmeade, which holds up to any set released in this new iteration. The only issue I had with the 2018-2020 range was a lack of standalone playsets with detailed rooms that didn't have to be a part of an exterior display, but the RoR and the Moments sets gave me hope that this was being rectified. The new Hogwarts/CoS and Forbidden Corridor are simply trash and I cannot understand how anyone can think they look good. The Astronomy Tower was perhaps the best Hogwarts build in terms of architecture and attention to detail (such as the windows and astronomy build) but these new sets look like 2001 mis-matched quality. It would have been so easy to make the CoS exterior compatible with the current Hogwarts sets by making the building like the twin tower building from the outside, and then putting Lockhart's office and perhaps the "Chamber of Secrets has been opened..." corridor above it, and make the girl's bathroom connect to it. Instead they have made another Great Hall which looks like vomit when the 2018 one was perfect. I'm happy to get Myrtle's bathroom but the enclosed build is horrible and I would have much preferred it to be open like Moments/RoR.

I wonder if any of the in-the-know people have seen the interiors to the sets? I was kind of hoping they'd add a way to make the Basilisk "stand up" like in the movie when he fights it with the sword, as that's what the old one lacked.

Now I've had time to simmer down, I'm going to wait and remain optimistic. If these sets are more focused on interior (as opposed to the 2018-2020 range which focused more on exterior) I'm sure they will be great and provide a lot of requested scenes. I would love if we get a proper Gryffindor Common Room and perhaps some classrooms etc. in the August wave. I will then be able to have two separate interior and exterior Hogwarts displays.
