OMG yesss. I was reading the end of the 2010/11 threads, depressing myself, convincing myself that the theme was going to fizzle away again.

I’m hoping for the four common rooms at a similar price as the Moments sets. I’m guessing they’d be in the new stackable style, but I think I’d prefer them to open up like the books as I’m worried being only 8-studs deep might not give the most detailed interiors.

Do you think that we should give up hope for a January 2022 wave now that there haven’t been any leaks, yet we already have leaks for pretty much every other themes’ January wave?

I haven't built them yet but my favourite would be Hogsmeade because it has the quality of 2018-19 sets and looks beautiful. My least favourite would be the Fluffy set because both the castle and Fluffy build are just trash. The Harry & Hermione set is executed well even if I think it's a bad idea for a set. I love all of the other sets, even if I prefer the 2018-19 style.

I won't, because this means I'll probably have to buy some trash just so I can get the minifgures.

Perhaps they are, but it's still just a random jumble that doesn't look nice together. It's much better to get army builders like school or quidditch uniforms IMO.

I think the 2021 one looks like a tacky mess that someone threw together in 2 minutes.

The Villains Brickheadz are really nice too, I build them today. Bellatrix is a surprisingly complex build.

I opened the Accessory Pack and the Trio + Hagrid Brickheadz. I wasn't sure whether to get them at first, but they actually look a lot better in real life. The Brickheadz are actually really cute and different enough from the originals to display together, and Hagrid is a marked improvement (plus a bit taller) from the previous one. The Accessory Pack I still find to be very random and messy, but is still pretty nice. I added it to Diagon Alley. I'm going to use the witch as the Flourish & Blotts worker as she wears the same colours as the building, although I might get an alternative face for her.

My and my dad will be so happy! Even though he's VERY unhappy Spielberg is gone.

OMG I need to steal your idea. That looks amazing! The thing is, that and the 2nd Task sets are two of the most expensive sets to buy that haven't been remade yet. I agree that the build's interior isn't very iconic, but I hope they do a nice exterior that matches up with the new Hogsmeade set in terms of scale, and has some fencing/grass for the fight scene.

God, I hope this isn't becoming a trend for Lego to venture into political adult content. As a gay AFOL, I'll stick to my Lego Harry Potter, thanks.

Nothing since the Hogwarts Icons rumour which is supposedly various built objects, and the possibility of one or minifgures.

Yeah I think the castle section might just be a generic castle section next year. Kind of like how the 2020 castle just looks like a big wall IMO.

I think Lego must know Lego Harry Potter has a big adult audience as well. Things like Grimmauld Place and the Ministry (and even the Lovegood and Malfoy houses) would be great D2Cs, even if they wouldn't translate into playsets. I would argue they're more iconic to the universe than the Daily Bugle is to the marvel universe. And the Battle of Hogwarts totally lends itself to a big playset, even if you just focus on the less violent aspects (the knights and giants, the bridge and Harry and Voldemort's dual).

I think the graveyard scene in GoF is the most intense of the entire franchise, and they've made a set of that, so I really hope Marcos' comment isn't Gospel. I think they'll do a Hogwarts set next year to add to this year's modular version. I bet it will be based on POA as the Clock Tower was based on GoF. I imagine the exterior won't be based on any specific building, but the interior could have the divination classroom as Trelawney hasn't appeared since the 2018 CFM. I hope we get a Gryffindor Common Room, but they might do Common Room Moments sets in January (fingers crossed). I love speculating!

I desperately want Fang too.

I can't let myself think about DH sets anymore. BUT surely they will make a Battle of Hogwarts set eventually? And a tent. It's got to happen.
