  1. I find it hilarious that Build a Bear, which sells talking teddies to kids, thinks it’s appropriate to advertise a quest to collect the horcruxes and sell them as accessories, but Lego can’t make sets around them.
  2. I’m gay. My boyfriend is gay. This set does not represent us. In fact, it insults us. It reinforces the stereotype that gay men are all catty, ‘fabulous,’ effeminate and obsessed with fashion. The only people it appeals to is heterosexual women who like to use gay men as fashion accessories and gay people who identify as queer, which has little to do with their orientation and is a political statement. If Lego wanted to be “inclusive,” perhaps they could have made a wedding set with the option of two grooms/brides in addition to the bride/groom one, which was actually requested. The rainbow doesn’t represent me. A show about men reinforcing archaic stereotypes while acting like puppets for people who are laughing at them doesn’t represent me. My boyfriend served in his country’s military for 7 years of his life. He now does a manual labour job. He is stronger and more masculine than any heterosexual man I know. It is insulting to be compared to these people because we happen to be same-sex attracted.
  3. I really want Angelina, Alicia and Katie though.
  4. @Yope OMG I’d die for that common room set. @puttingstickersonisintense The theme has gone evergreen which means it’s not being discontinued.
  5. I just had an idea. To get around the 2nd task needing 8 mini figures, what if they did a set called Hogwarts: Second Task and included a small portion of the castle as well as a spectators stand and the underwater arch? That way they could include ten figures like CoS (Harry, Krum, Fleur, Cho, Cedric, Gabrielle, Ron, Hermione plus two others - Dumbeldore? Rita? Neville?). And it would allow for more prints and moulds (Grindylow and Sharkhead or fins). The castle section could be Dumbeldore’s office, the library or Gryffindor common room, as they happen around that scene.
  6. Apparently the Shrieking Shack and Second Task are the most expensive sets on the aftermarket that haven’t been remade so I’m sure Lego is aware of that which makes them likely. Now, I wonder how they could make the 2nd task with all the mini figures needed though. I’ve also been thinking about this. I’d love a statue.
  7. My predictions for Summer 2022 are: A large Hogwarts build with Gryffindor Common Room, Lupin’s classroom and Office; and some other part of the castle (perhaps a courtyard instead of a dungeon?) that attaches to the hospital wing and Y3 figures. A Dumbledore’s Office castle add-on based on Y4. The Shrieking Shack. The second task. Dumstrang Ship. Small Y1 Forbidden Forest set with Fang.
  8. The only thing I’m wondering about the new castle sets is if they’re going to continue with the rock work underneath? Because there are not many dungeon areas to think of. We’ve seen Potions class a million times but I guess we could see it again. There’s also slytherin common room, and the room of lost things (not likely) and the rest of the tasks from the first film.
  9. I’d welcome repeated mini figures of the trio if it means a no expenses spared Pomfrey.
  10. @krimimimi When you asked about the tent, I personally want a brick/built one. Kind of like the one from the Dragon set on a larger scale, that opens up to make it seem bigger on the inside. I think it’s exterior was quite well done.
  11. If it’s only made up of 3x 8x8 tiles, how are people expecting it to look like the clock tower we have? I know that it will likely have a built uptower, but it’s going to be much shorter than the other one. I imagine it will just be the top part with a clock on the outside and then it will attach onto a segment from one of the summer 2022 sets. And, I agree with some others that it’s likely we’ll see Lupin’s classroom in the large castle set this summer. I hope the Moments DADA stickers are fairly generic so that we can change it into the other iterations if we want.
  12. OMG. What magical fungi is Lego consuming recently. I love the idea of the Divination book and the hospital wing (I HOPE Pomfrey has a new hat and skirt printing!) but they picked the worst DADA class. And WTH is that trunk.
  13. Yep, everything except pictures I think.
  14. I just saw Marcos what’s-his-name said in an interview don’t expect the common rooms as two aren’t shown in the movies so we can rule that out. Still hoping for G and S though. Divination and DADA year three is my guess. COMC with a brick built Buckbeak maybe? I don’t think any other classes are shown except flying lessons which we recently got a set off. Wonder if the 4th set is something to add to the forbidden corridor. Maybe they could do a moments dumbledore’s office. That would be nice.
  15. They did a video about the summer wave on February 6th, 4 months before a June release. So talking about the winter wave on September 5th, 4 months away is January. So I expect a New Year’s Day release again. None.
  16. I’m guessing either the 4 common rooms or some classroom (divination/dada) either stackable or like the moments books. I’m expecting one new mould so I hope for Fang.
  17. But last time they did a YouTube countdown announcement video.
  18. Do we look on YouTube again?
  19. I’m expecting January 1st again.
  20. I’ve just looked through mine. I’m missing Snape, Lockhart, Hufflepuff and Sykes. In spares I have 3x McGonagall, 3x Slytherin and 1x Ravenclaw. Haha wow. Someone is selling the gold mini figures and stand for £90 on eBay. None on Bricklink yet.
  21. We’ve basically been told there will be a winter wave and that the theme is sticking around for the foreseeable future, but no leaks for sets. Aw, rotten luck!
