I hope Amazon puts the new sets up at midnight. I have £25 in vouchers/credit to spend, so I was going to buy DADA Moments. And then I'll get Divination and Hospital Wing from the Lego Store tomorrow. I will wait for the Trunk. What is everyone else planning to buy tomorrow? Also, there was a new TV show on yesterday night in the UK (and its airing internationally soon) where Stephen Fry travels the world showing the real-life inspiration for the fantastic beasts in HP/FB, and he even interviews JK herself. It was fantastic. It was particularly interesting to hear about the underwater creatures. I really want a Grindylow and a printed baby Grindylow in a jar in LEGO. -

That trailer looks great. I am happy to see there is no delay to its release, and that the author and creator's name, JK Rowling, is included this time. I'm excited to watch this movie. My guess is that because Lego knew that the outside-Hogwarts sets would require new moulds this time, they decided to focus on sections of Hogwarts that weren't covering new ground/new characters, and so wouldn't require any new moulds in them. I expect to see a new werewolf head, a new Grim dog, the baby Thestral (confirmed), and perhaps a Kreacher head or Mermaid/Krum Shark depending on the still-secret set? Would Yaxley need a new hairpiece, though? Although, many of the sets this year have higher price-to-piece ratios than usual, so maybe we'll see more new moulds than usual? I believe summer 2021 had 4 (Hermione's cat head, Fluffy's head, Basilisk's head and Pixie), summer 2020 had 3 (Otter, Hare and flying Hedwig) and summer 2019 had 3 (Buckbeak, Stag and Beauxbaton's hat/hair). Did I miss any? The past couple of years show they don't mind prioritising new creature elements. -

It's interesting to hear everyone discussing Grimmauld Place. I can imagine it as a set quite vividly. The third floor would probably be the bedroom Harry and Ron sleep in in OoTP, the second floor would be the tapestry room and the ground floor would be the kitchen/dining room. I would also love to see it having a pull-out staircase (in the style of Ollivanders), like @krimimimi suggested. For figures I imagine Harry, Tonks, Sirius, Mrs Weasley and Kreacher (and probably some combination of Lupin, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, Fred, George, Mr Weasley, Dobby?). I wouldn't care about the exterior having a pull-out feature, but I think it could be possible somehow. Perhaps there could be a fold-out portion on hinges that hides behind the main building, and then can be fully extended. I always had a vivid memory of Mrs Black's portrait being in the movie until just a couple of years ago, and I realise I was probably just thinking of the Lego video game for the visual representation. -

If it really is DH, then this is amazing news for the theme. -

Harry Potter really struck gold with having likeable actors (except from a handful in No.4). I really dislike most of the cast of FB except the main 4, the American Minister, Leta, Bunty and the CGI characters. I also like Credence as a character. Leta's brother, Newt's brother and Dumbeldore's brother are so unlikeable. And now Tina won't even be in it. I hate to say it but I think No.1 should have been a standalone film, and they should have recaptured the nostalgia of Hogwarts with a HP9 or a different story altogether. -

My dream D2C is Gringotts + Leaky Cauldron + Borgin & Burkes. Plus an opening wall and a little table with Mundungus selling his wears outside. Every HP D2C has had a mini figure stand, so I expect this one will. Maybe just something about the Thieves Downfall. My desperately most wanted set is the tent in the Forest of Dean, so if this year we really do get DH content, I really hope and pray we see that next year. -

If the D2C is DH Gringotts, what do you think the mini figure stand + quote will be? Do you think they might include a tent side-build and a Doe patronus, Snape and an ‘Always’ sign? Or am I asking too much. -

Some people say the $120 set has been listed as a play set, so who knows. Although I expect Ship + Second Task is more likely than No.10. But then again, we’re looking at getting the MoM soon. 🤷🏼♂️ -

StoneWars’ descriptions have made me even more excited. The MoM has the potential to be a great set if it’s based on DH, and more importantly, what it suggests for the future of the theme. That also means we could see a play set based on the OoTP battle to add to it in the future, which makes me very happy. I just can’t figure out what the Sirius Escape set will look like. If it’s 3x plates wide and two storeys high, will it be set out like two halves of courtyard with the tower in between them? I hope the courtyard can connect to the Hospital Wing somehow. I think it’s interesting that Dumbledore’s office has three floors, going from three plates to two plates and then one plate for the top tower; and then with the extra 4-stud wide hinge parts on either side. I wonder if the bottom floor will represent a corridor with the staircase leading up to the office, or if it will be a separate location (such as the RoM). The shrieking shack will be an excellent build, and I just can’t wait to see the Werewolf and Grim. I’m a bit disappointed there’s another Whomping Willow. I guess this means the characters will all be in their finale clothes - I was hoping we might get Ron and Hermione in their winter clothes to beak it up a bit and represent two scenes. The thestral set will be incredible, and I can’t wait to see Luna and the foal. -

It will be a $120 threshold, and it was on his YouTube channel. Latest video. OMG yes. Even though 1+2 has the music which makes me think of HP the most (Hedwig's Theme, Hogwarts Forever!), POA had some gorgeous music. I wish A Window to the Past had become a theme for the series. The later movies missed John Williams so much, although I have grown to enjoy them. -

Double VIP points are starting March 12th-14th, and the Jane Goodall GWP will be available from 3-15 March, so I might wait to buy the March sets until then, as I am not too desperate for them. Thanks to @Brick Clicker for the heads up! -
