So the trio outfits are based on this scene right? Hermione and Harry are fine but Ron is very inaccurate. -

A bit worried about Gringotts.... but we will see with more details. A lot of people already assuming its not gonna be compatibile with 2020 Diagon Alley D2C which I think would be really stupid for them to do. I see two solution how they could make it work even with undergroud system of railway and vaults. One is to make the underground section modular (like Rancor pit) so you can display it separately or put behind Gringotts when you want to connect it to the rest of Diagon Alley. Other solution would be to elevate ground floor of Gringotts and put railways system with vaults under it so there is no need to make entire underground section under the building. Overall very satysfied with the wave because most of it is trash (trunk, brickheads, bus, dobby) so I am gonna save a lot of money to buy Gringotts and other playsets :DDD -

Hey guys, it’s been a long time since I shared anything from my Hogwarts project so here is the newest version that I currently work with ... yeah I know that there is a Lego HP MOC thread somewhere but it’s dead and I thought just one picture wouldn’t hurt anyone here :DD -

I hope no more moments books... as AFOL I find them kinda useless so I only buy minifigures from them, good for kids tho but I think we kinda had enough of that. -

I'm sure no one is waiting for Gringotts to be revealed now considering we expect it to be D2C set (which we usually don't know until few months before release).... if Gringotts was revealed to be a downscaled playset that would hurt a lot :D -

I can't believe we are getting leaks to 2023 sets already... probably just prices and piece counts right? Or maybe even some set names? That would be crazy -

I asked him about Gringotts on Instagram and he said that the project is in very capable hands. Check comments above for more details. -

When I ask about Gringotts and in reply he says "the project" I don’t think I read too much into it when I assume he means Gringotts too. But sure I get that people still have doubts … after what this thread went though last year it’s understandable :D -

I asked specificaly about Gringotts so I don’t think there is any other way to interpret his answer. He just couldn’t use the word Gringotts, because it’s too early to officially reveal that. If he just wanted to dodge the question he wouldn’t use wording THE project, but instead he would just said that the theme is in good hands. He knows what we want and he knows we aren’t stupid. We are just spoiled from last years and don’t wanna be disappointed again :DDD -

What do you define as "work well with Diagon Alley"? Because I don’t need pin points or picture that says "look, they are compatibile and they connect togather here". All I need from this set is to not be scaled down to a playset like Ministry of Magic, but also not oversized like some Gringotts MOCs that I saw on the internet. It just have to be a little bit taller and wider than regular DA building and that is all I need from it to be displayable with 2020 Diagon Alley. Very small chance. From what Marcos said it sounds like it’s definitive and there is no room for their additional inclusion. CMF series would be more likely than GWP imo. -

I asked him who is gonna design Gringotts and he replied with something like don’t worry the project is in capable hands. So he straight gave it away that they are already working on it. -

It’s not because he got criticized it’s because some Lego fans can’t disuss their disappointment in polite and human way. This is not Apple, here we have can interact with people who directly worked on the project and since it’s mostly creative work they aren’t really protected from this by being hidden in large company. Most of people here including me don’t know what it is like to be a Lego designer and that they probably have to work in certain boundaries and make a set to be successful not only between diehard fans like us but also for regular people. -

I feel so bad for Marcos watching his video he just shared on Instagram. He is being so passionate about the theme and answering most of questions even the stupid ones. Some people don’t know how to write valid criticism without insulting or hurting other person. After everything he has done for this theme some people write to him in comments or pm that he doesn’t care about fans and he wasted potential with this set. -

I can’t believe I’m saying this but the fact that this Hogwarts Express is standalone set that doesn’t fit with anything else is what makes me wanna buy it. I have 2018 one that goes pretty well with my Hogwarts castle layout so if they made this one with tracks it would look very oversized compared to all playscale Hogwarts sets. So despite the criticism (some valid, some not so much) that these large D2C sets always get (yes, I remember how many people hated even on Diagon Alley) I think that among general customers and even most of Lego fans this set will sell very well. -

Well I think the first info from Promobricks won’t come earlier than winter next year unless they will suprise us and realease Gringotts as Christmas D2C set which is unlikely for this theme. Yeah it’s absurd. Other complaint I see quite frequently is that the train is not compatibile with track system… like cmon just use 2018 version, this one was clearly made as a display model for adults.
