  1. Theory—no one would really care about the quality of the figs if the shuttle were better. They’d certainly get some criticism, but people would still be grateful that the full BB were in the set. The problem is that the shuttle itself has too many serious problems with it, (asymmetry, weird cockpit, size, and color) for it to be as good a set as something like the Razor Crest, which just had somewhat good figs, that were probably on par with these ones. This leaves the figs as the main draw for the set, putting them under a lot of scrutiny.
  2. Korg appears to be missing his head piece and his much lighter than he should be, and also appears to be hunched on the packaging. The movie screen also looks too realistic to be a lego build—I’ll jump with the rest and say it’s fake.
  3. The arms and legs on both of them are in almost the exact same pose…
  4. Avengers tower is one of the best builds in years, helicarrier is an incredible template for modification, Hulkbuster is certainly accurate if oversized, and although they weren’t what I would call desirable, the truck and bike are relatively solid. The only one that looks like a brick is the helicarrier, which, as I said, can be modified pretty easily.
  5. I won’t be the first to say this, but to start off, just about all of the iron men and such had pretty bad heads, but I guess that is subjective. Black widow was a great character, but way was overused in popular sets. Hawkeye and Black Panther were pretty good, but didn’t appear in what the most desirable sets. Captain Marvel was okay, probably her best version but that’s a pretty low bar. I really did like the Enix wave, but I have to say, the builds were much better than the figs, at least in my opinions.
  6. We’re long overdue for a solid Milano. Given that the Enix sets were basically legacy with badly done characters but relatively strong builds, I could see a wave off of that being quite good. That would probably be the winter wave for next year though.
  7. I bet that since lego could control the actual character they picked, they would go with R2 and C3P0. We’ve never seen them before , they’ve been in every Star Wars movie, and we have never had them in Brickheads before, have we? I won’t be getting this, I don’t get brickheads, but I think these two make the most sense. Then again, that’s just a guess.
  8. I doubt it would happen this year unless there were some surprise set, but since the SW got a set based off of its Disneyland ride, would it be possible for Marvel to get something?
  9. Hmmm…that means that either it could be just a tease, but lego themselves have said that they will reveal a Star Wars set…that must mean it’s something else. It’s probably too early for the AT AT, so the question then stands, what could be important enough for them to reveal there?
  10. I haven’t tried it, but apparently brickcomplete.com or something does. It seems expensive though.
  11. @ARC2149Nova, I’m not sure how fair it is to say that TCW killed characters left and right. They certainly killed minor characters, but they usually only got rid of one main hero per season, and it was usually a clone. I also don’t think that necessarily makes it better—having a darker tone is not always better. So, on a more forum related note, a couple months ago, KingWong teased a photo of Darth Vader standing over a bunch of clone helmets. It might just be KW being a goober, but we still haven’t seen any clone troopers in this wave, and we’ve still got an unknown set. I would usually guess that set would be an ST or OT set, given that we don’t have many of them, but since we’ve gotten this many Mando and CW sets, I’m not so sure. Does anyone else think these two things may be related?
  12. Rebels is better than TCW gang! I think you may be right about the gunship, but it’s also possible they will do official announcements at the con.
  13. I’m not positive, but it sort of looks like Gideon is using this head :https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=3626cpb1429&idColor=88#T=C&C=88, which would be pretty concerning and very inaccurate. Can anyone else tell if this is what that is, and Fennec’s head, for that matter?
  14. We still have one completely unknown set left, right? 75369?
  15. I think that’s pretty good for a purist custom. I’m not sure how much the new boba torso would improve it, but a couple added dents wouldn’t hurt, would they? Also, @Gontron, I’m with you. This may be unpopular, but I think it’s the best build in the wave.
  16. I’m not really huge on their wave, but I had an idea with the Boba Fett—what if you took the new Stane head from Iron Monger Mayhem and added it to that? You could make a pretty solid Cobb Vanth, and even though he would have a little bit of an evil look, it would be I think relatively accurate.
  17. In the current wave, we’re also missing smart Hulk, War Machine, minifig Ant Man, giant Ant Man, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, maybe Wong, Falcon, White Wolf, and Wasp, not to mention the entire black order, outriders, and chitauri gorillas. Personally, I’d hope for an Ant Man related set so we could get Luis for his van, but I’m probably just dreaming.
  18. Well that’s pretty megablockin creepy. I just looked at it, and you’re not wrong. That being said, it’s relatively hidden, but not so hidden you can’t see it after a second or so. It’s (probably) nothing tho.
  19. I think that is when the sets were revealed last year, right?
  20. The new Asgard one or the original Sanctuary 2 number?
  21. Fulcrum appears to have hinted at an unknown set, 76237. That’s not the cmf code, right? This has gotta be something different.
  22. A-hole you tubers and clickbait thumbnails, name a more iconic duo.
  23. Planning on designing that in studio actually, AMATW is my favorite marvel film, and neither of the two have been represented well in lego.
  24. If it makes anyone happier, it’s not really a rumor at all—it’s pure speculation by some random podcast host making a theory. Might happen, might not.
