  1. Yes, Vikings are definitely better than the Dino line. However, I can't view the picture that u posted. Wondering is there any problem with my connection?
  2. I totally agree with you if you were referring to the castle of HP III. ;)
  3. I totally agree with you, Shecky TNT. I like the vehicles in Dino line especially the helicopter and the fire hammer.
  4. If I have the money, I'll buy: 3 x 7019: so that I can build a larger fortress 1 x 7018: I'm content with two big ships 3 x 7017: to protect my enlarged fortress with 4 powerful catapults 7 x 7016: so each Viking Ship will lead 4 Viking Boats I don't really like 7015, so I won't buy multiple of it. I bought it just for completion sake. My current plan (due to tight budget) is to buy another 7019 if there's a sale at the end of the year.
  5. This is a great set 7017. However, I like the dragon from 7019 more because it's much bigger in size though it's not in red-colour (the only complaint about it). i forgot to mention that the connection between the neck of Nidhogg and its body is a bit loose.
  6. Here comes the Viking Catapult . . . There is a seat on the left-hand side. . . The firing mechanism of the catapult is the same as 7018. There are 3 firing bullets. Firstly, the most bottom bullet will be fired...... Then, the whole thing will move down a step and once again, the most bottom bullet will be fired (previously at the middle position)...... Finally, the last bullets will be fired...... Last but not least, the shooting range of the catapult is 120cm or 47.24".
  7. Here's the picture review of 7017 as I promised before. It has 4 bags of brick, 2 pieces of wing and 1 sticker ( the black-white one is used and the blue-yellow one is extra ???). It has 2 minifigures . . . The Nidhogg dragon is almost the same as the Fafnir dragon from 7019. Its head is identical as the Fafnir's However, its neck, body and tail is shorter than the Fafnir dragon. Overall, their total length is 30cm and 49cm respectively.
  8. I like 5524 Skyline set. But USD129.99 . . . . . . that's too expensive. I can't afford that. :'(
  9. Finally, 7017 (edited) catapult has arrived in Singapore. I'll go to buy it tomorrow. Hurray........ :-D So, I'll post up the picture review of 7017 (edited) the soonest tomorrow night.
  10. Of course you're super happy. . . . . . I have even less than yours. I only have 1 set of 7015,7016, 7018 & 7019. Btw, 7017 catapult has arrived in Singapore today. I'll go to buy it tomorrow. Hurray . . . . . . . :-D
  11. I like the Castle of Morcia too. I like its colour. I like ur Claw Castle too. There are functional 3 storeys . . . . . I like the brown/wooden house (don't know how to call it) . . . . Thanks for sharing with us.
  12. Wow, those MOCs are amazing. However, I don't think TLC will release something as big as those, that would be too expensive for children and most of AFOL too.
  13. Both sets look great. I've decided to quit buying SW LEGO because of my tight budget (so that I can focus on castles and HP) but these two sets really appeal to me. Luckily I didn't buy the Jedi Fighter when it was released together with other SWIII products. I guess i've to come up with some idea to earn extra money so that I'll have enough money when these two sets are released. Btw, any idea for the price of these two sets?
  14. I really like the helicopter (7477) and the fire hammer (7475). I'm not really interested in other vehicles. Sorry TLC, but the dinos are just ugly.
  15. OMG, Bloody_Jay, where did you get that amount of money to buy all these sets? I'm jealous of you. ;)
  16. I'm not sure about other areas but according to the LEGO catalogue 2005, the official release of Vikings is in August. Btw, happy birthday to you kikuichimonji! Are you Japanese?
  17. First of all, I would like to thank Hobbes for sharing the same thought with me. Btw, the pic that you provided the link is really really impressive. Sigh...... ...... :'( However, I also like to thank ImperialJohn for inspiring/encouraging me to start building MOC. Honestly, after voting and viewing the poll result, then only i realised there aren't many type 1 LEGO fans who mainly display the LEGO sets. I'll try to switch my mind mode. :) I do realise that i miss out a lot of fun for not trying to build MOC. That's what LEGO is meant for, right?
  18. >:( I hate S@H cos it doesn't ship to Asia. How unlucky I am, living in a small Asian country. :'(
  19. So, u didn't order for the 7019 Viking Fortress? I thought u said u r going to buy a couple of them (though u may have to do some undecent job to earn the $$, :-D just kidding). Enjoy ur longboat then.
  20. I love LEGO and I'll only buy LEGO products.
  21. I'm definitely tyep-1. I display all my LEGO sets except sets like strata box...... I don't really build any MOC. After viewing so much great MOCs in Brickshelf, I doubt that i would be able to build anything as magnificent as AFOL there. The other reason is that, I like to keep my sets all un-mixed with others. Even the extra pieces of all my sets are kept separately for each set.
  22. It comes with the 7019 set. Actually you can modify the single-bladed axe into the double-bladed one yourself. You just have to have extra axe blade to attach to the single-bladed one. And yes, the double-bladed axe consists of two axe blades. Hoping that you'll enjoy your Vikings Sets.
  23. :-D You would really need many sets to build a fortress that is big enough for the ship. I wish I have that amount of money. :(
  24. I'm sorry to tell you that I don't have two small boats. However, I still took some pictures just to illustrate that two small boats can be fitted into the fortress either horizontally or vertically To be honest with you, I don't really understand your request for the 2nd pic. (Sorry, English is my 2nd language). So, I'll answer to what I guessed you were asking for. Do you mean you want to see how the front part of the ship poking out through the front gate of the fortress because the length of the ship is too long? For the Viking Ship, the front gate of the fortress is neither wide nor tall enough to let the ship to pass through. Regarding the last request of Eliza Dushku, I think you have to ask someone else to get it for you.
