  1. Love the walkway! The supports are very ingenious. I like your story as well. As a CorSec member, I too don't take crap from the Empire.
  2. Offworld Jawas! Yes! Excellent build and story
  3. Brilliant build! It tells a story all by itself, though yours was great, too! Well done.
  4. Thank you! Building this in a frame was an idea you suggested to me a month ago. Thank you for the inspiration! Glad you liked the story, what did you mean by layouting? Adding headlines or "..." kind of stuff? Yep! Even Jawas get thirsty in the heat of twin suns. Thanks for your feedback!
  5. *Your entry has earned 16 XP* "Utini!" Sot heard the call of his younger brother over the loud clanking of the sandtreader's tracks pounding the desert floor. He switched to a lower gear and decreased speed so he could see what the fuss was that Gul was making. Sot had tried to ignore any reason to stop driving, but Gul was adamant. Gul often said he saw things in the sand that usually turned out to be a pile of rocks. Perhaps that's why the clan let them go out alone with the sandtreader, Sot pondered to himself. Stopping the family sandcrawler wasn't easy and doing so twenty times a day just for rocks was enough to push the patience of the elders. So when Sot looked where Gul was pointing and saw a speeder hull lying on the ground, he had to get a closer look. After all, mirages were common when one was bored. But now Sot wasn't bored. The speeder was trashed, that was clear. Sands blown across the Jundland Wastes had filled the intakes, clogging filters used to carry air to the engine. No matter. There were a hundred filters back at the family sandcrawler Sot could replace them with. A find like this was a good find. The family would decide whether the speeder would be repaired (just enough to function, of course) and inevitably sold, or broken down for tradeable parts. Jawas were social creatures within their clans; anything that encouraged cooperation was seen as a blessing. Sot motioned for Gul to activate their droids to comb the sand. The droids would use their photoreceptors to pick up other pieces of metal scrap as Sot and Gul loaded the speeder onto the trailer. Yes, this was a good find. And although Sot didn't like spending the entire day trawling the empty desert with his brother Gul, he did feel less annoyed. Later, as he fired up the sandtreader, he motioned for Gul to climb aboard into the cockpit. The wrecked speeder was Gul's find: the least he could do to show his appreciation was for Gul to not have to ride in the dusty trailer. And after all, they were brothers. Build Notes: The Jawa sandtreader is a halftrack featuring rear tank treads and forward sand-paddle wheels. The engine pieces behind the driver can be easily removed for quick repair access. The crane can be turned using the grey knob on the back of the vehicle. It can also be moved up and down. The trailer hosts a winch and pullable chain, which can wind up by rotating the dark brown lever.
  6. Whoa. The forced perspective here is incredibly clever! Way to combine a minifigure-sized build with a microscale moc. I'm going to have to give this a try someday.
  7. Wahoo! Congrats to everyone getting their builds in! So happy to be a part of this community!
  8. Seeking information? More like making up an excuse to get a great hair cut. Awesome build with a fun backstory! Clever of you to use the ball turret piece as the hair dryer.
  9. Love the droid speeder! So cool that those in The Mandalorian are getting builds in LEGO. Lovely little scene.
  10. Pipes! Walkways! Tunnel! What's not to like about your build? Incredible job!
  11. Again, trees on Mustafar. Love it!!! I like the steam vents as well. Reminds me of the deep underwater vents here on earth that spew out ash under the ocean.
  12. Very clear that this is a mining operation. I know it's over but one day it would be great to see a huge scale mining rig like you have here. Great job!
  13. You can't go wrong when you add exhaust pipes to your build. Great job!
  14. Irish pub or 1970's faux wood paneling? Lol either way, it looks fantastic. Good to see a fun build like this every now and then that isn't about shooting.
  15. Are the trees a reference to the opening scene of Rise of Skywalker? If so, I like it! The lab or whatever they're in here is very sciencey-looking. I might incorporate some of it into a future moc!
  16. Even if you didn't say what planet this is on, it still screams Coruscant. I love everything about this, particularly the holobooks in the walls. Very well done!
  17. I am in awe by your grass. So clever! Next time someone publishes a landscaping guide, it needs to have this in it.
  18. Thanks for showing the behind-the-scenes look at this! It's really inspiring. I want to include this curved bridge look in my next starship bridge build.
  19. OH MY GOSH I HAVE TO MAKE A WHITE-BLUE MANDALORIAN NOW.
  20. As marvelBoy123 said, the trees are really cool. Your figures re very star wars underworld-esque. Great build!
  21. Excellent brickwork on the wall! I dig your wookiee carriage as well.
  22. Such nice swooping lines! There's a lot of potential here, would be great to see your skills used in this build do a large moc with the same style of buildings!
  23. Reminds me a lot of the Mandalorian where they raid the New Republic prison ship. A very fun build!
  24. That hologram projector is so rad. Love the bulb it projects from above the map!
  25. I dig the floor tiles. Very hospital-like!
