  1. The pixie is okay, but nothing to write home about. The wings oddly look like part of its head from the front. The antennae are a bit stubby and don't match the shape from the films as well as they could have. And the colour doesn't look right either. Probably should have been sand blue? Is that the colour I'm thinking of? Did I say it was "okay?" Lol. Reading this over it sounds like I absolutely hate it, but it's really not that bad.
  2. These are great ideas. I think they'd also work as normal sets rather than books.
  3. If it does turn out to be the chess board, I imagine the pieces will be brick built, not minifigures.
  4. Skeeter and Pomfrey would be perfect for a third CMF series. We've already had a hospital wing and now we're getting a Chamber of Secrets themed Hogwarts set, neither of which included Madam Pomfrey. The only way to include Rita in a set would be to shoehorn her into something from Goblet of Fire, like the Durmstrang ship or lake task. And with a CMF series, they'd be able to give both of them a proper amount of detail. The accesories they could come with are so obvious, this plans itself. Get on it, Lego!
  5. Good point, I didn't think of that! -- And on the subject of Grawp: I never really liked him as a character. I didn't like the way he looked in the films and his chapters might be the only unenjoyable parts of the books for me. But I absolutely LOVE Lego-Grawp. He just looks so lovable
  6. They also didn't include the puking pastilles display (the one with the kid puking into the bucket) or that thing that looks like a popcorn machine with the little dragon on it. It's odd, there's so many memorable little details inside WWW that they didn't bother to include even though it doesn't seem like they would have taken that many pieces.
  7. On the subject of wand colours, I'm pretty sure Fleur's wand is green in the films, so there's that. Also, does anyone else think it's strange that the gold minifigures have printing? For some reason I expected them to just be plain gold. Though I suppose some of the characters would look too generic without printing, especially since they're basing them on the reboot figures. It probably would have been a better idea to base them on the 2001 minifigures if that's what they're trying to commemorate.
  8. Right, I'm stupid. *facepalm* Same thing for Myrtle's bathroom? Or do you think there's a chance we get the robe torsos from Diagon Alley?
  9. "Wizard's chess" scene from Philosopher's Stone: "Not in the restricted section. Happy Christmas." Edit: he also wears a blue one in the Quidditch training scene. Harry sure has a thing for cable-knit sweaters.
  10. The fold-out book sets that came out in January.
  11. So the gold figures have moments torsos... that's odd. Doesn't necessarily mean the regular figures will have them, but it does make it more likely, unfortunately.
  12. Are you talking about gold figures or regular?
  13. Hooch looks great! Not particularly interested in the gold minifigures, but it looks good for what it is.
  14. It was talked about a few pages back. They're real!
  15. Don't know if this has been mentioned before, but JediJacPenguin has Madam Hooch listed under the $30 August set with the placeholder set name "Quidditch." He usually only puts info on his website if it's confirmed by reputable leakers, but I don't know where he got this from.
  16. All of these ideas are great! I could see helmeted-Ron appearing in a CMF series if they ever do another one. Otherwise, a big Quidditch D2C could include a lot of the players in one go. I don't think we'll see a Hogsmeade set for the cursed necklace scene, since they've already done the Three Broomsticks and the trio in their outfits for that scene. But maybe winter-Katie could appear in a potential CMF. Bad luck for Leanne lol
  17. More location-based stuff would be great. I love your idea of doing the fair with a Haly's circus tent. I'd definitely buy that. And yeah, we desperately need a proper Babs. Also, what hair piece do you guys like to use for Nightwing? I don't think any of the ones they've used so far are quite right.
  18. Unconfirmed. But seeing as they're putting a quidditch Cedric in a new book, it's still possible that the accessory pack is quidditch players.
  19. The story takes place in the UK, so naturally most of the characters have white skin; I don't see how that's "unfortunate." And besides, darker skinned female quidditch players aren't our only chance to get minifigures of obscure students. Most notably, we still don't have Zacharias Smith, Roger Davies, or Terrence Higgs. That being said, I agree it kind of stinks that they feel the need to include Harry every time. I'd much rather get Angelina, as she's a fan favourite from the books and we still don't have her yet. Anyway, I don't give a fanged flyer what skin tone the characters have, I just want more minifigures!
  20. I know none of us are thrilled about getting another Cho, but calling her a piece of crap is a bit harsh!
  21. Thank God it's not another "moments" thing. I'd take anniversary over that any day.
  22. Not shocking, but ominous for those of us hoping for a future return to the 2018-2020 castle style.
  23. That would be cool. They should do more Dark Knight trilogy sets in general. Even though it's been a long time since those films were made, I'm pretty sure they're still a lot more popular than the recent DC movies.
  24. It's not just you, a lot of people have complained about that from the beginning on here. It looks especially stupid when you put her next to the Patil twins and all three of them have the same skin tone. Anyway. Harry, Malfoy, Cho... typical. Wish we could have gotten Angelina. At least we're getting that prat Zacharias.
