Yes I forgot to mention that in my sets rundown here, I didn't see that. That is a fairly cool feature and makes it worth the price, but im interested in how the show will execute it. Theres also some details about the series shared from brcksbymind, apparently Sora is from the imperium or was a part of it, but disagreed with it and is now against them. The imperium is from a different realm, and theres so called "source dragons" which im assuming are part of the energy cores. The reason we haven't seen Jay Cole and Zane is due to the fact that for each season the ninja will be swapped around. Sora, Arin and im assuming Riyu will be the main cast, and there will be supporting ninja alongside them. For season 1, its Kai Lloyd and Nya, and for season 2 we will probably see Jay Cole and Zane. This is due to the world being so massive now they're basically off on side quests, however the show will check in with them at points. DR will also be like the oni trilogy, where it will be one large continuous story spanning multiple seasons, not just 1 story in one season. The second part to dragons rising season 1 will be coming in the fall, whislt the 1st part will be released in June. Core and Legacy are officially confirmed dead, they will no longer be returning. Kinda sad to say goodbye to core, I really enjoyed it as a theme and I'd like to see them at another point return. Also I was correct, JB speilwaren did actually ruin the whole set reveal by posting the images early.

I think my biggest gripe with the set is the fact that it doesn't have much of a back. There is little to no detail around the back that is consistent to the other city sets. No waterway, no docks, and the building is pushed right to the edge. No space for boats at all. Im still on the fence about it, I really do need to see better pictures. Its cool, but I feel like the new £160 LEGO City mainstreet could be an upgrade, plus maybe some water tiles. I think its biggest flaw is its size, its just too big for the price. More parts and therefore money was needed to flesh it out. I'm tempted to remove the stone base that is behind the red bridge to connect it to the back waterway, im not sure how easy that will be though. Still, its an impressive set. I just wish it was executed better. One set will have to take the fall for "worst city set" and I think this one will be it. On the bright side, that should make whatever comes next even better.

That’s completely fair, I understand why it can’t be appealing. It doesn’t help that the background for each box is different, and I agree there isn’t really a consistent theme to the sets apart from dragons, which we get every wave anyways. From what I’ve seen online this appears to be the most controversial wave in a good while. A lotta people hate this wave and a lot of people love it. I like it, just the prices are the issue for me.

I’d like to see it on the other side of the gardens, and also the backside and how it connects to the back of other modules. Not liking that gap though on the side. This one just feels a bit sloppy and empty. Need more pics and angles to make a final judgement, although I’ll probably pick it up by the end of the summer. Also the price hikes on the new sets, I know they’re only a couple of quid but they will add up. Not a fan at all of the bounty price or the team mech price.

I agree. There’s something about this set, I think it’s the lack of a big centrepiece. I don’t really count the cable car, but from what I’ve seen I like it. Still not sure on if I will pick it up though. The toilet features a bit weird, and the minifigs are stellar. The last elemental master we need, chamile, Borg, Nya in her imperium suit, Gayle gossip, hounddog Mcbrag and misdemeanour. I think my problem with the set comes down to its very good, and the price is incredible, but it’s still too expensive. My budget is already going to be strained from dragons rising and I don’t think I can also fit in a massive city module.

Green guy in the temple is called “spirit of the temple”. Kind of disappointed, I was hoping they would be an interesting side character or mentor like Yang. Still a neat figure though.

Yes, we should have waited. I also want to thank @Lego_Minecraft_Goatfoe the hype build up, you did pretty good considering what we where up against. my biggest surprise this wave is definitely the mech bike racer. It looks awful in mech mode, bike mode looks pretty damn good and close to the show, but there’s no alternative build for the hover mech? That seems to be the main mode used…. Maybe there’s going to be separate instructions on Lego.com Has @fernando143 woken up and posted yet? They’re going to be absolutely ecstatic about all this. They’ve been waiting on the edge of their seat for some time. I have to say as well, I’m loving the bounty. The forward deck being a dragon storage bay is amazing, I love that, and there’s decent room in the hull at the back (sadly it doesn’t look like it’s standable) and the house section above seems a bit sparse. I’ll mod it. The place above it for Riyu is amazing, I love that, and from the top down, I’ll give the Lego designers credit on that, it looks sleek AF! Transforming lava dragon looks interesting as well, not a fan of the villain flyer but the dragon looks interesting, and I’m yet to see how the play feature works. Hound also looks great, as does the temple in my opinion. It’s pretty sparse for £90 and I’d like to see it at £75 personally, but i love the tower structure and the weird green person looks interesting. The Rempress looks a bit weird. Not sure if that’s the best face print. But I’ll roll with it. dragon vs mech looks amazing, love the combination factor, definitely explains the weird jet. Also Sora uses the ninja armour?? Cool! Team mechs look very clustered but I still like them, and zanes race car also looks pretty damn good. Love the spinners too, they actually seem to be decent builds and value for their price, not just 2 giant molded parts. Ohhhhh so it just flips upside down. I thought the neck would move all the way round or something. Also the markets looks to be on the horizon as well. I just wish Lego could have done it, and done it earlier. Now JB has scuppered the big reveal and split it up.

So you know how I said that my opinion may change with the offical pics? It’s definitely changed. Love this wave. Although I still feel the same about the mech bike. But that’s a mod that I’ll begin working on soon. Love the bounty, although it does feel skeletal and incomplete, I’m happy we are getting one. Just wish they could fully implement a better engine technique like the one on the old possession or original bounty…

The goat has posted a better picture of the bounty, really liking this set more and more now. Hooded Sora is included, I wonder if that’s her only variant now. I know there was that city set but the hair was different, only the cat ears lined up. Also confirms the Roundheads, and Wu. Dragon looks alright but I fail to see how it fits in that tiny hole. Also wondering where and how 1700 pieces go into this. Ha! Beat me by a few seconds! Anyways, thanks very much for the picture @Lego_Minecraft_Goat.

Hi guys, im new here, but have been a long time fan of speed champions. Just wanted to ask a question, do we know what the summer speed champions sets are yet? As in what vehicles? edit to clarify: I’m new to this thread, not eurobricks.

Pretty sure Hp has actually, there’s the Weasley’s shop, the final battle of Hogwarts, and some brickheadz. Ninjago and speed champions are the only themes we haven’t seen. By the way, the goat has posted a higher quality image of the lightning dragon. Looks very large and nice, and resembles the one in the trailer. Looks like we get soras hooded variant in the set as well.

Damn these are good! I could see a destiny’s shadow build from the team mechs, maybe with some weird transforming feature or a second vessel for Arin?

Definitely the cores. They seem to be held in a new mold that forms a staff. Some of the enemy’s carry them and there’s one on the side of zanes car. I wonder if the cores are like wheels for the spinner to spin on? Like 3 independent castors? also where are people seeing printed cowls on the spinner sets?

Going to be honest, these sets look great but a little undersized, and I also feel like there is a massive disconnect between the set and the show. The hunter hound and heatwave transforming dragon are both amazing interpretations of the sets in the show, but then we have sets like the mech bike and the bounty that just look completely different from the show variants. The bounty should be flatter and way wider on the front, ditching the possession esq design. The mech bike…. Where do I start? The legs need a full redo, as do the arms. The wheels are in the wrong position for the legs and the arms look way to skinny and far back. I also want to point out the villain vehicles, they seem to be particularly weak. The 4 plus set one looks alright, but the ones in the heatwave dragon and the mech bike look dreadful. Obviously we can’t know for sure until official pictures but I’m a little unhappy with them. Best set so far is the hunter hound, it looks spot on in the show, looks amazing as a set, and will be cheap to get. The figures look great as well, excited to see Jay. Second best is the bounty IMO, as much as I’ve dissed it, I love a good bounty and this one looks really unique and fun with the whole dragon that looks like it will sit in the hole in the front (you can see it’s head poking out in the pictures we got today) I also feel this, although I wouldn't call it the worst. Obviously theres only so much we can get with crappy quality photos but this wave just feels kinda bland? Or maybe its my lack of hype speaking because of these sets taking 20 years to be revealed. The part about budget re-allocation is definelty a possibility though, I would not be surprised by this. Still, we have the temple and the markets to go. Hopefully they dont leak early beforehand as well. Overall, I do like this wave, but its not as good as crystallised. I think I set my hopes too high with the amazing show design of soras mech, plus the show as a whole looks damn amazing.

Hands down power miners. I love ninjago, and monkie kid, but power miners feels like a mainstay for "action and adventure" themes.

Those new spinners.... they look like the 2011 spinners? Or am I going crazy? I hope they function like them. Those and the legacy spinners are still the best.

Too be honest I hope not, and if he does (he probably does) I dont want him to leak them. Id just like to see the sets in full with high quality and multiple pictures, not clawing at some scrappy blurry half-assed prelims. I hope lego takes the hint and just reveals them now.

I’m just kinda disappointed that we aren’t getting the mech we see in the show. But, as I said before, it shouldn’t be too hard to mod.

Yeah I got them from telegram. Hound looks amazing, the bounty looks alright, but the Sora bike….. yeah I’m really hoping as these are prelims they are changed a bit. That bike looks awful. Still hella excited for the hound though.
